The CCB II System Consists of Five Major Components.

The CCB II System description CCBII 系统描述

The CCB II system is a microprocessor based electro-pneumatic brake control system. All logic, other than the initiation of an emergency brake application, is of computer control.

CCBII系统是一套微机控制电空制动系统,除紧急制动以外的所有逻辑都是由计算机控制的。

The CCB II design incorporates the Echelon LonWorks network technology to interconnect each line replaceable unit (LRU). These LRUs are in a constant state of communication with one another, actively controlling the brake system functions.

CCBII 采用Echelon LonWorks 网络技术将各个模块有机联系起来。这些模块始终互相保持通讯,从而实现系统的各项功能。

Control of the Lead/Trail functions, Feed Valve Setting and Distributed Power is accomplished through the Locomotive Cab Display Module (LCDM) menu, selected by the soft keys located on the operator’s console. The CCB II system with LCDM also performs several diagnostic functions, Self Test, Calibrations, and Fault and Event Flagging.

系统本务/重联模式选定,定压设定,分布式动力设置都是通过位于司机操纵台上的机车显示模块LCDM 实现的。LCDM还可实现一些诊断功能,如自检,压力校核,故障日志查询等。

The CCB II system provides a back-up pneumatic brake cylinder control in the event of computer failure or loss of electrical supply. This function is provided by the manifoldmounted DB Triple Valve and will allow the normal operation of the locomotive under several failure modes.

在计算机故障或失电的情况下,CCBII系统还具有备用气制动功能。该功能由安装在主气路板上的分配阀实现,它使得机车在几种故障情况下还能够完成运行。

The LCDM 制动显示屏

The LCDM (Locomotive Cab Display Module) is the Operator’s

Display. This is a 10.4” screen which provides an operator

interface to the brake system.

制动显示屏为司机提供制动信息显示,它屏幕为10.4”,为司机与制动

系统提供信息交互。

The LCDM is equipped with eight function keys (F1 thru F8)

and three keys for LDC backlight brightness control.

LCDM有8个功能键,3个亮度调节键。

The Operations Screen displays real-time values for the

Equalizing Reservoir, Brake Pipe, Main Reservoir and Brake

Cylinder pressures. Brake Pipe charging flow and the current

status of the Air Brake mode are also displayed in real-time.

LCDM实时显示均衡管,列车管,总风管,闸缸管的压

力,列车管的流量以及目前制动系统的模式等信息。

The LCDM communicates with the IPM by an RS-422

communication link.

LCDM与IPM之间采用RS-422通讯连接方式。

Allows Operator to set brake system MODE and SETTINGS

M-IPM Functions M-IPM功能

The IPM operates the primary functional software for

the brake system.

IPM 包含制动系统的一些基本功能软件。

If the system is a combined CCB II / GE Distributed

Power System (“Locotrol-EB”) the IPM also

operates the DP software.

如系统具有DP分布动力功能,那么IPM也包含DP 系统的

软件。

The IPM includes a communication interface to the

LCDM. This communication is via RS-422.

The IPM communicates with the other LRUs via the

LON network.

IPM与LCDM采用RS422方式通讯,与系统其它各模块之

间采用LON网络通讯。

If the IPM circuit breaker is ON and this indicator is OFF, IPM

power supply failure is a strong possibility.

电源—绿色LED表示IPM已加电。如果在IPM断路器闭合的情况下,指示

灯熄灭,则很有可能是电源失效。

CPU OK-This green LED indicated that the IPM CPU is healthy based

on an internal Watchdog Timer. This LED is an indication of successful

IPM self test which is typically performed once every 15 minutes.

CPU OK-根据内部看门狗计时器,该绿色LED显示IPM CPU的状况良好,

该LED表示IPM成功通过每15分钟进行一次的自检。

DP LEAD -This green LED is an indication is that a given locomotive

is in Distributed Power LEAD mode .

DP REMOTE-This green LED is an indication that a given locomotive

in Distributed Power Remote mode.

DP TX A-This amber LED is an indication that a given locomotive is transmitting DP radio messages on Radio A.

DP TX A–该黄色LED表示该机车电台A正在传输DP无线信息

DP TX B-This amber LED is an indication that a given locomotive is transmitting DP radio messages on Radio B.

DP TX B-该黄色LED表示该机车电台B正在传输DP无线信息

DP RX-This green LED is an indication that a given locomotive is receiving DP radio messages.

DP RX–该绿色LED表示该机车正接受DP无线信息。

DP COMM INT-This red LED is an indication that a given locomotive is experiencing DP radio communication link failure.

DP COMM INT–该红色LED表示该机车DP无线通信故障

DATALINK FA-This red LED is an indication that on a given locomotive the IPM is unable to communicate with the locomotive computer (ILC, IFC, ICE etc.) via the LSI (either DP or EAB) RS-422 (HDLC) datalink.

DATALINK FA–该红色LED表示该机车IPM无法通过LSI (DP或EAB) RS422(HDLC)数据线与机车控制系统(ILC, IFC, ICE 等.) 通信

NETWORK FA-This red LED is an indication that the LOCOTROL EB or the CCB II system is experiencing internal communication problems (between IPM, EPCU and EBV) over the LON network.

EBV FAIL-This red LED is an indication of a failure on the Electronic Brake Valve (EBV) of the LOCOTROL EB/CCB II system. The specific failure could be electronic or pneumatic or both.

EBV FAIL–该红色LED表示LOCOTROL EB /CCB II系统EBV失效,可能是电子部分故障,或空气部分故障,或两者皆有。

EPCU FAIL-This red LED is an indication of a failure on the Electro-Pneumatic Control Unit (EPCU) of the LOCOTROL EB/CCB II system. The specific failure could be electronic, pneumatic, or both.

EPCU FAIL-该红色LED表示LOCOTROL EB /CCB II系统EPCU失效,可能是电子部分故障,或空气部分故障,或两者皆有。

EAB BACKUP -This amber LED is an indication that the LOCOTROL EB/CCB II system has activated one of its backup mode of operation for the Electronic Air Brake functionality. For Example, failure of the primary Main Reservoir Transducer (MRT) has occurred and the system has switched to the secondary MRT.

The EBV is located in the Engineers Stand

and is used by the Engineer to control both

the Independent Brake (locomotive) and the

Automatic Brake (Train).

EBV位于司机操纵台上,司机用来操纵自动

制动(列车)或单独制动(机车)。

Both automatic brake and Independent

brake handles are push to apply and self-

lapping.

所有自动制动与单独制动手柄都是向前推为

制动,并自动保压。
