b 宾语从句的转换:部分疑问代词引导的宾语从句

可以换成疑问代词+不定式形式。

例:1) I don’t know how I can operate the machine.

→ I don’t know how to operate the machine.

2)I don’t know which one I shall choose.

→ I don’t know which one to choose.

c)一般疑问句转换成的宾语从句,连接词要用if 或者whether (是否)。

例:1) Do you know that man?

→ He asked me if \ whether I knew that man.

2)Can you pass the ball to me?

→ He asked me if \ whether I could pass the ball to him.

3)Are you interested in music?

→ He asked me if \ whether I was interested in music.

2.make a telephone call (to sb.) 给某人打电话

同意短语ring sb. up \ give sb. a call \ 也可以直接用动词call 表达打电

话的意思

例:I’ll make a telephone call to you. (我将给你打电话。)

→ I’ll ring you up. \ I’ll give you a call. \ I’ll call you.

[拓展] 当直接引语为一般疑问句时,改成间接引语时,用连词if 或whether 引导。

恩,对于儿童博物馆来说我太老了。

介词for 表示“相对于”。

staff 集体名词(本身已是复数),表示“全体职员,所有工作人员”。
