How to protect our environment.
Today I read a book. This book about our environments is in danger.
The re are air and water on the Earth.
The re are people and plants on the Earth. People have lived on the Earth for millions of years. Many years ago, the air was fresh, the water was clean, the sky was blue, animals were happy. Everything was beautiful, everything were nice. But today, everything is different. There air pollution.
Factories in the towns and cities drained waste liquid to the lakes, rivers and seas. Waste gases from cars and factories make the air dirty. People are killing more and more animals. People use their f urs to make coats; people use their meat for food. More and more animals are disappearing from the Earth forever.
People are polluting the land, polluting the water, polluting the air! People must stop the pollution. Let’s protect our together!
Everyone should make a contribution to protect the environment.
Taking care of our environment is very important.Wherever you live,you can do something around your neighbourhood.
Have you ever thrown any litter onto the ground?Have you ever drawn pictures on public walls?Have you ever spat in a public place?Have you ever cut down trees?If your answers are "No",it means that you have already helped protect our environment.
It is our duty to keep our envionment clean and tidy. You might ask yo urse lf,"Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin?Have I ever collected waste paper or bottles for recycling?Have I ever planted any trees or flowers in or near my neighbourhood?"If your answers are"Yes",it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment.

We Chinese place a high value on responsibility. It is traditional deal for us Chinese to take care of our parents. We owe them a great deal for the love they give us while we are growing up. It is right, then, when they are getting older with each passing day, we help them and see that they are well cared for. It is true that most of us value honesty highly. However, nowadays we often confront confidence crisis such as cheating, overcharging, fake commodities and so on. I think that we should be honest because being honest is not only beneficial to ourselves but also to others and the whole society. The reasons can be listed as follows.Firstly, only honest people can be truly respected by the others and can make more friends over a long period of time.
Secondly, honesty, which is the traditional virtue of the Chinese people, can make our life easier and more harmonious. Thirdly, honesty can make our society more stable. A case in point is that Singapore, a society featuring trustworthiness and integrity, has a comparatively low criminal rate.
Responsbility can be understood in many ways. for the parents , they have had the responsibility for caring for and fostering their children since the birth of their baby.for teachers,both in kindergartens and colleges,they also should be responsible for the study and life of their students,that is to say,teahers are the second parents of children somewhile.
for us,as a friend of others,it is our responsibility to help our friends when they are in trouble or faced with difficulties. each one has the different responsibily based on their roles but we must take it for granted that we are responsible for the society . Environmentalproblems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. For example,cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas isgiven off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut down and waste wateris being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, wherever we go today, wecan find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact, threatening ourexistence.
全世界的环境问题变得越来越严重。例如汽车污染的空气影响了人们的呼吸，工厂释放污染的气体，山上的树木被砍伐，污水不断被排人河里。另外，无论我们走到哪里，到处可见随意丢弃的垃圾。事实上，污染正威胁我们的生存。
The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves andfor our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realizedthese problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by thegovernment. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will besolved in the near future and our home will become better and better.
地球是我们的家园，我们有责任为我们自己和我们的后代去照顾好它。庆幸的是，愈来愈多的人们已经意识到这些问题。政府已经采取了很多措施去解决这些问题，法律已被通过以制止污染。我希望这些问题在不远的将来能得到解决，我们的家园变得越来越好。
Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world.With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make GREat noises andgive off poisonous gas. Trees on the hills have been cut down,and waste wateris being poured continuously into rivers. Furthermore,wherever we go today, wecan find rubbish carelessly disposed. The whole ecological balance of the earthis changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negativeeffects and even poses a great threat to man's existence.
全世界的环境问题在变得越来越严重。随着工农业的发展，汽车制造噪音、排放毒气，山上的树木被砍伐，污水不断被排入河里。另外，无论我们走到哪里，到处可见随意丢弃的垃圾。整个地球生态平衡正在改变，环境的巨大破坏已带来负面影响，甚至对人类生存带来巨大威胁。
We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve ourenvironmental problems. For instance, new laws must be passed to place strictcontrol over industrial pollution, the pub!ic must receive the education aboutthe hazard of pollution and so on. We hope that all these measures will beeffective and bring back a healthful environment.
