感。通过导入新课时动物的象征意义在中西方文化中的差异性比较,培养学生的跨文化意识,使他们体验到中西方文化的不同魅力。

在Practice(练习)环节中,通过让学生分组讨论,分享彼此的意见,取长补短并在辩论的过程中彼此提供帮助,将极大地培养学生的团队合作精神。

在学生不断感知、体验、实践的过程中,使学生逐步意识到人类行为的重要性,激发学生对动物乃至社会的责任感。

(二)教学过程1.导入新课

2.导入新课后的各教学环节

问卷调查老师设计一个简单的问卷调查,由同学们分组讨论,每组有多少同学喜欢动物,喜欢那种动物;有多少同学不喜欢动物,并分别阐述理由。这一环节把学生的注意力从(animal)动物具体到(pets)宠物这一概念上来。

Be against keeping pets.导入课文时,教师设计了一个听力同步练习。要求学生听短文并完成课文结构提纲。通过课文的输入,教师预期达到的目的是使学生们了解基本的辩论表达方式和结构。并且通过课文的启发使自己对于是否养宠物的观点更加明确。从而对之后的Practice 和Presentation两个环节打下扎实的基础。此时,教师角色是成为英语目标语的输出者。

样正确地对待它们?生讨论的过程中,如何控制课堂的氛围、学生思考的方向,都需要教师比较巧妙的引导,这也是学生最后的输出环节是否成功的关键。必要时教师可以举一些真实的事例,或者请曾经养过宠物的学生讲述自己的故事,引发学生的共鸣,启发他们的思维,指导他们做出判断。因此,教师做出宏观的指导,把论点分为三个层次,引导同学由小及大,由近及远,由个人及社会做出广泛的讨论。此时,教师角色是成为学生英语信息的提供者。

5.Presentation 辩论(输出)

disadvantages of keeping pets?通过对课文的学习和分组讨论,辩论的环节将是整节课的亮点。由于经过充分的准备,又急于表达自己的观点,将使同学们忘却羞涩和语法的阻碍,积极的投入到辩论中来。逐渐达到白热化的辩论氛围将充分展示了同学们灵活的思维和快速反映能力,尤其在辩论的后期,在教师的巧妙引导下,同学们的观点会涉及到如何对宠物具有责任感,拥有宠物以后将对社会承担那些责任乃至于宠物作为独立的生命个体,应该与人类平等的生活在这个世界上,而不是作为玩物被人类收养,这都闪烁着终极的人文关怀的光辉。

(三)本课小结

●在设计本课时,教师本着以学生为主体,以人的发展为本的教育理念,从

?输入、练习、输出?的角度来设计教学内容,使教学呈阶梯式层层推进。

在教学活动中,教师退出了主导的地位,而使学生成为真正的?主角?,

教学设计充分发挥了学生学习的主动性和创造性,他们获得的不仅是英语

语言知识,还有语言运用能力,获得成就感,实现自我价值。

●辩论作为英语教师开展教学活动的一种常见形式,常常流于形式上的表

演。教师会因为各种时间或学生能力上的原因缩短学生操练的时间,重展

示而轻练习,重结果而轻过程。其实,这是一种舍本逐末的做法。在引导

学生讨论的过程中,如何控制课堂的氛围、学生思考的方向,教师的指导

性和帮助都是必要的。

我对人教版初中英语教材的看法与感受 我是一名初中英语教师,目前使用的新目标GO FOR IT!这套教材是初中阶段学生学习和教师教学的主要内容和手段。它是以英语课程标准规定的课程目标和教学要求为编写的指导思想。在满足课程标准基本要求的前提下,内容灵活多样,符合学生身心发展的特点,满足不同学生的需要。根据我几年来使用本教材的实践,我想谈谈我对它的看法。 一、教材的编写具有发展性和拓展性。 教材的内容和活动形式有利于学生的全面发展和长远发展。学生能够通过学习和使用教材获得独立学习和自主学习的能力,从而为终身学习创造条件。教材内容体现探究式,发现式的学习方式,促使学生拓展思维,开阔视野,培养他们的创新精神和实践能力。教材内容的编排方式有利于学生自我归纳总结、举一反三,有利于他们在语言运用中发现语言规律,更好地做到学以致用。在用中学,在学中用。在语言教学中,接触和了解语言国家文化,有益于对益于英语的理解和使用,有益于加深对本国文化的理解和认识,有益于培养世界意识。英语就像一门百科全书,内容极其丰富,涉及所学语言国家的历史、地理、风土人情、传统习俗、生活方式、文学艺术、行为规范、价值观念等。教材根据学习者的年龄特点和认知能力,逐步扩展文化知识的内容和范围。在起始阶段,让学生对英语国家文化及中外文化差异有个粗略了解,与学生身边的日常生活密切相关,能激发学生学习英语的兴趣。在英语学习的较高阶段,通过扩大学生接触异国文。化的范围,帮助学生拓展视野,使他们提高对中外文化异同的敏感性和鉴别能力,进而提高跨文化交际能力。 二、教材的编写具有系统性和科学性 本教材的编写符合语言学习的客观规律,充分体现了不同年龄段和不同语言水平学生的学习特点和学习需要。教学内容和教学要求体现了循序渐进的原则,由易到难,从简单到复杂逐渐过渡。低年龄和初级阶段重视语音基础和听说能力的培养,高级阶段要侧重培养学生的读写能力。另外教材在内容、目标和要求等方面都有完整的体系。语言技能、语音知识、情感态度、学习策略、跨文化交际意识等内容和目标相互结合、相互渗透、相互支持。 三、思想性和趣味性
