一、报名考试
（一）、报考条件
1、拥护中国共产党的领导，愿为社会主义现代化建设服务，品德良好，遵纪守法；
2、考生的学位必须符合下述条件之一：（1）已获得硕士或博士学位；（2）应届硕士毕业生须在入学前取得硕士学位；（3）获得学士学位后，在报考学科、专业或相近领域已工作6年或6年以上（从获得学位到录取为博士生当年的9月1日）的人员只能以同等学力资格报考。
3、以同等学力资格报考的考生，须已在报考学科、专业或相近研究领域的全国核心期刊上发表两篇以上学术论文（以第一或第二作者），或已获得省、部级以上与报考学科相关的科研成果奖励（排名前五名）；
4、年龄一般不超过45周岁；
5、健康状况符合北京大学研究生入学体检标准。
（二）、报名办法
1、采取网上报名。具体时间及程序将于10月下旬在北大研究生院主页发布。
2、考生报名前应仔细核对本人是否符合报考条件，资格审查中不符合报考条件的考生将不予录取，相关后果由考生本人承担。
3、缴纳报名费200元。
（三）、选拔方式
入学选拔分为申请、初试、复试及录取四个步骤。
1、申请
考生在我校网上报名并在2013年3月1日前，向报考院系研究生教务办公室寄（送）达以下申请资料（自备信封统一装入），共计八项：
（1）通过网上报名系统打印的《报名登记表》；
（2）学位、学历证书的复印件（应届毕业硕士生提交所在单位研究生院或研究生部的证明信）；
（3）硕士课程成绩单的原件或复印件（提供复印件的同学须在复试时提交原件）；
（4）硕士学位论文（应届毕业硕士生可提供论文摘要和目录等）；（5）两位与所报考学科相关的副教授（或相当于副教授）以上职称专家的推荐信；
（6）攻读博士学位期间本人想致力研究的问题和设想的陈述书；（7）学习和工作经历、经验、能力、特别成就、公开发表的学术论文、所获专利及其他原创性研究成果的陈述和证明；
（8）以同等学力资格报考的考生，还须提交在报考学科、专业或相近研究领域的全国核心期刊上发表的两篇以上学术论文（以第一或第二作者），或已获得省、部级以上与报考学科相关的科研成果奖励（排名前五名）的证书；
各院系根据申请人的申请材料，进行素质审核（侧重审核申请人的毕业学校与专业、品德、学术水平及其在所报专业领域内的发展潜力）。
2、初试
（1）考试时间：2013年3月16日、17日。
（2）考试地点：北京大学
（3）考试科目：有关招生院系、专业、研究方向、考试科目及其相关说明请见招生专业目录。同等学力考生须加试两门硕士阶段专业基础课和政治理论课（文科加试哲学，理科加试自然辩证法）。
3、复试
（1）根据素质审核与初试结果，择优确定复试候选人。
（2）复试由招生院系安排，时间一般在4月上、中旬。复试采取笔试、口试或两者相兼的方式进行差额复试，对学生的学科背景、专业素质、操作技能、外语口语水平、思维能力、创新能力等进行考察。申请人应向复
试组作报告，内容包括个人科研经历和成果介绍、对拟从事研究的领域的了解和看法、本人拟进行的研究工作设想及理由等。
（3）对于经过初试和复试仍不能确定是否录取的考生，我校将进一步组织复试。
（4）参加复试的考生需缴纳复试费，复试费标准待确定后通知。
4、录取
复试不及格考生不予录取。对于复试及格考生，根据初试、复试成绩，结合素质审核结果，综合评估考生各方面的表现，从中择优确定初取名单并公示。
二、部分院系试行考试模式改革
1、全国重点大学优秀应届本科毕业生申请硕博连读和直接攻读博士学位（简称“直博生”）。申请条件及办法与原先申请和接收“推荐免试”硕士研究生相同（“直博生”按照博士生的报名办法办理报名手续）。各院系接收“直博生”人数见博士生招生专业目录。
2、本校在读硕士生申请攻读博士学位的，按照研究生院的规定和院系的考核办法进行。
3、我校部分院系试行以综合素质能力为基础的考试模式改革方式，接收其他具有硕士以上学历、学位人员申请和攻读博士学位。申请人按照我校招生简章中报名考试的相关条件、办法进行申请报名并提交申请材料，另外强调学生需提交详细的研究计划。经院系对申请人的材料审核评估后确认是否给予面试资格，对符合条件者通过考核确定是否录取。试行的院系有：心理学系、哲学系、光华管理学院、信息科学学院、国家发展研究院、环境科学与工程学院、分子医学所。相关问题请直接咨询招生院系。
三、指导教师
请参阅各院系网站有关招生导师的介绍。
四、健康检查
体检在新生入学时统一进行，具体时间另行通知。体检医院为北京大学校医院。体检标准按照学校有关规定执行。
五、学习年限
博士生的基本学习年限为4年。本科起点直博生基本学习年限为5年。硕博连读生除院系有特别规定外，一般进入博士生培养阶段后的基本学习年限为3年。
六、毕业就业
人事档案不转入学校的研究生，毕业后应回原单位工作或自谋职业，学校不负责就业。如原为在职人员，在学习期间发生原单位由于撤消、合并等原因不能接收，由学生自谋职业。其他研究生按国家和学校有关就业政策办理。
七、奖助学金
1、校长奖学金，校长奖学金的资助标准为5.1万元/年/人，含生活费和学费（冲抵学费15000元/年），年限为基本学习年限。每位获奖博士生在基本学习年限内最高可以获得25.5万元的资助。每个年级的奖学金名额不超过100人。
2、学业奖学金，标准分三等：一等39000元/年，二等33000元/年，三等27000元/年。其中含生活费和学费（冲抵学费15000元/年）。各学院系参考此标准自行制定奖学金设置和评定办法，并实行动态评审。
3、人事档案不转入我校的博士生和已获博士学位的人员不享受奖学金，并须按上述规定标准缴纳学费（15000元/年）。
4、按特别说明的博士研究生教育项目招收的博士研究生按其招生简章规定缴纳学费。
5、北京大学博士生（除上述3、4条外）的奖学金覆盖面为100%。
6、除奖学金外，各院系根据实际需要设立“三助”岗位（助研、助教、助管），根据岗位工作发放津贴。

八、学生住宿
1、我校实行住宿收费制，住宿费用自理。
2、除在深圳就读的同学外，其它人事档案不转入我校的博士生以及其它经特别说明的博士生教育项目招收的博士研究生，住宿及其费用自理，学校不提供住宿。
3、属于“少数民族高层次骨干人才计划”、“援疆学科建设计划”、“新疆研究生培养基地计划”、“北京大学与中国工程物理研究院校院合作计划”招收的博士研究生，学校可以协助安排住宿，费用自理。
九、违纪处罚
如发现考生有提交虚假材料、考试作弊及其它违反考试纪律的行为，我校将进行严肃处理。包括取消考试、入学资格及学籍等。
