Export health certificate list

NOTE:

Due to cases of avian influenza during 2007 and 2008, some countries may refuse consignments of live poultry, captive birds, pet birds, hatching eggs, poultry meat and other products containing or made from poultry material sent from Great Britain.

As always, you are still advised, before planning exports of any animal or animal product, to:

?refer to our Customer Information Notes for details of which countries have officially notified Defra of any restrictions or bans;

?confirm the availability of the certificate with Animal Health’s Specialist Service Centre (SSC)– Exports in Carlisle;

?obtain a specimen copy of the certificate and its guidance notes;

?confirm that the certificate can be signed in relation to your consignment;

?confirm (preferably in writing) that the importing country will accept your consignment on the basis of the current certificate,

?note that all certificates are issued with a disclaimer and that we cannot guarantee that they will work.
