I am going to give you some advice. 我想给大家提一些建议。
advice,不可数名词,没有复数形式,不能直接与数词连用。
a/one piece of advice 一条建议two pieces of advice 两条建议
advise, 动词。建议某人(不要)做某事advise sb.(not) to do sth.

Why don’t you write it down? 你们为什么不把它记下来呢?
Why don’t you + 动词原形?= Why not + 动词原形?是提建议的一种表达法。
英语中提出建议的表达方式主要有:
(1) Why don’t you... / Why not…? 为什么不……?
(2) Sb should / shouldn’t…某人应该做/不应该做……
(3) How about/What about + doing?……怎么样?
(4)It’s a good idea to do sth. 做某事是个好主意。
(5) Try (not) to do…尽力做某事/尽量不要做某事
(6) Let’s do…让我们做某事吧!
(7) Would you like to do sth…?你想要做某事吗?
(8) Shall we do…?让我们做某事,好吗?
(9) You had(not) better do sth... 你最好……
对于建议的答复可以是:That’s a good idea./ Great!/Thanks a lot.
write down 意为“写下、记下”,是“动词+ 副词”构成的短语。我们学过的这类动副型短语还有:put on 穿上take off 脱下turn on 打开pick up 捡起
注意:这类动副型短语后面的宾语是名词时,名词可放在副词之前,也可放在副词之后;当宾语是代词时,代词只能放在副词之前。
