A Moment in Life
Time is the best story teller in our life. With time going by, we heard and acted on different stories. Some stories were ordinary, some stories were sweet.However, some stories were so impressing. One moment in these stories touched me and changed me-traffic accident.
I still remember it was a hot summer, I just finished my college entrance examination, my classmates brought up an opinion that rode the bicycle around the Fuxian Lake. In order to release ourselves, we accepted the suggestion. We tried to prepare all the things, but we never knew a scary moment was coming soon.
Although the weather was hot, we enjoyed the beautiful lake, in order to take photos, one of my friends and I were slower than others, we tried to catch up with them so we speeded up. At that time, something horrific happened-A big truck came to us in the contrary direction. My friend was flustered at the moment when the truck was closer and closer to her, I also hurried to brake and called her name. But unluckily, she was hit by the truck, the driver tried to brake but failed.Her bake fell down in the big voice when I saw her that she fell down to the icy road. I can see red blood in her head clearly, also I could only hear a weak voice to call my name. At the moment, my heart full of worry but more was guilty.Although she was so dangerous, she cared about me firstly, I was selfish compared with her, because the moment I rejoiced to thinking that I was lucky, even I thought I was a lucky dog who just avoided the accident.
The moment with guilty passed away, and I was clam and tried my best to deal with the terrible situation, then I called to the hospital and other classmates.Finally, we arrived in the time and had a good result. My friend was safe without life danger, and the driver paid the hospitalization costs. All the thing became normal, but in fact, the moment changed my thinking and the way of thinking.
Firstly, the moment has taught me how to deal with the dangerous situation.I hadn't thought the traffic accident would happen in my life, so I never have any consciousness of dealing with the emergency. Through the moment, I know I need to gain some first aid knowledge, it's essential to protect myself and help others. Also I need to familiarize with the way to call to hostipal and so on.
Secondly, through the moment, I received true friendship. Not everyone is selfish, the nature of human beings is kind. So whenever or whatever that we should care about the people around us. We need to give more love to others, especially for our friends. As a true friend, I should treat them as ourselves.
With time going by, many memories faded away, but this special moment is deep in my mind. Life is the best teacher and the moment teach me and made me grow. Now, the only thing I can do is cherishing!
