It’s great to be back in Beijing again to further the Canada-China relationship. I want to begin by recognizing the stellar work of the Canada China Business Council. Over the last 30 years, your organization—on both sides of the Pacific—has been a steady, visible and effective advocate for stronger Canada-China relations generally, but for business relations in particular. As a government, we appreciate your efforts and we value your advice as we work to grow the Canada-China partnership.
