A Letter to the College President

Dear Sir,/ President,

It’s my great honor to write to you.

I’m very glad that there’s a Foreign Language Institute language lab for us to make use of,which is both convenient and beneficial to us language majors.

As time goes by, many things have changed, including our language lab. And there are several striking changes in it, which may lead to bad impact on our language study.

These changes mainly lie in several aspects. First of all, there’s something wrong with the language equipment such as earphones, speakers and multimedia devices, which cannot be used in our class, and it even makes some trouble to us sometimes. Secondly, because the system installed in language labs’computers have been out of date, we can’t use the new-edition softwares with these computers. Besides, the damaged chairs, desks and air-conditioners are also disturbing.

Form my point of view, in order to make our language lab truly useful

to us, some measurements should be taken
