教学过程

一、热身(Warm-up)

Let's do:

Go to the library.

Read a book.

Go to the teachers' office.

Say hello.

Go to the playground.

Play football.

Go to the garden.

Water the flowers.

要求学生边说,边做动作。通过此活动,既可以活跃课堂气氛,又能起到复习的作用。

二、复习(Revision)

1.活动:我与“喜羊羊”捉迷藏

活动方式:教师出示事先制作好的课件,告诉学生:“喜羊羊”藏身于我们学校中,想与同学们玩捉迷藏,现在就请同学们来猜猜“喜羊羊”藏身于何处。全班学生一起重复问句:Where is Xi Yangyang?教师请学生来问:Is he in the teachers' office? Is he in the garden? Is he in the library?…学生每猜一处,教师就在课件上点击该处,如果点不出“喜羊羊”,全班学生就说:No,he isn't.如果点出,则说:Yes,he's in the library.

2.抽读已学过的校园场所类的单词并拼读:teachers' office,library,playground, computer room, art room, music room"'

三、新课呈现(Presentation)

1.教学单词和词组dining hall,grass,gym,ago

(1)教学单词grass

教师出示草坪的图片问:What's this?同时自答:It's grass.并板书:grass。教师提问:What do you often do on the grass?引导学生回答:We can play football on the grass.教师用升、降调带读单词grass,引导学生拼读记忆单词grass。

(2)教学单词gym

教师拿着体育馆的图片,不让学生看见。介绍说:You often play basketball in it.Sometimes you have a P.E class in it.Guess. What is it?掌生猜过后,教师把图片展示给学生看:Look. It-s a gym.随后教师板书:gym,并带读gym,引导学生拼读记忆gym。

(3)教学词组dining hall

教师指着教室的墙面问:What-s this?学生回答:It-s a wall.教师接着问:Can you spell it?学生拼读单词wall,教师板书wall。然后教师将wall改成hall,让学生试读单词。告诉学生:hall是大厅、礼堂的意思。全班拼读记忆单词hall。接着教师在hall的前面加上dining,让学生猜猜dining hall的意思。师追问:What do you often do in the dining hall?学生回答:We often have lunch in the dining hall.教师用升降调带读词组dining hall,并让学生拼读记忆该词组。

(4)教学单词ago和词组...years ago,...months ago

教师介绍:I played basketball in the gym three days ago.1 went to Hangzhou two months ago.l visited the Great Wall three years ago.救师板书:…days ago,…years ago,…months ago,让学生说说ago的意思。在理解的基础上,让全班拼读记忆单词ago。最后教师让学生用ago 来造句。

(5)Say the chant:

Garden,garden.

Let-s run,let's run.

Dining hall, dining hall.

Have lunch,have lunch.

教师出示两张新旧学校的图片介绍并板书:There was no gym in my school ten years ago. Now there's a new one in our school.然后让学生模仿这两个句子比较学校的今昔。如:

There were no computers in our school ten years ago. Now there are many computers in our school.

There were sixteen classes in our school ten years ago. Now there are thirty classes in our school.

3.教学A.Let -s learn

(1)教师播放A. Let -s learn部分的课文录音,学生边听边跟读。

(2)学生两人一组表演对话。

四、巩固与拓展(Consolidation and extension)

1.教学Find the mistakes

活动方式:先让学生独立阅读这段话,然后圈出图画中与描述不符之处,最后全班讲评订正。

2.教学歌曲Changes in me

(1)教师播放歌曲,学生静听。

(2)再次播放歌曲录音,让学生小声跟唱,体会歌曲的节奏。

(3)继续播放歌曲录音,让学生大声跟唱。

(4)学生配上动作表演唱。

3.活动:“希望小学”设计大赛

活动方式:教师播放一段简陋的农村小学的录像,告诉学生:“希望工程”将为他们修建一个崭新的学校。要求全班学生四人为一小组,共同设计这所农村小学,并附上设计说明。如:

最后教师将各组的设计稿和设计说明张贴在教室里,请全体学生共同欣赏点评。

1.复习词语:school,library,playground,computer room,art room,music room,dining hall,grass,gym。教师先出示图片,让学生看图说词语,然后再出示单词卡片,抽读词语,最后全班拼读生词。

2.活动:真真假假

活动方式:教师随机出示一张单词卡,如出示单词卡grass,教师读grass,表达是正确的,那学生就立即跟读单词grass。如果教师读成gym,学生就不能跟读并要说:No.该活动用小组竞赛的形式进行,给反应快的小组加分,当教师表达不正确时,如果有学生跟读不正确的表达,那他所在的小组就要被扣分,教师可适当加快速度,活跃现场的气氛。

3.活动:卡通明星大闹校园

活动方式:教师拿出事先准备好的三个盒子,三个盒子上分别标注着:who,where,what。让学生说出一些卡通明星,教师将其写在纸上投入标注着who的盒子中。where的盒子里放人的是一些学校的场所,what的盒子里放入的是一些动作词组。请学生在三个盒子中分别抽取一张纸条,利用这三个单词连成两个句子,看看谁连成的句子最有趣。如:Mickey Mouse is in the music room. He can bath. Lan Yangyang is in the library. He can play football--

三、新课呈现( Presentation)

1.教学单词star,easy,look up,Internet

(1)教师出示星空的图片介绍说:Look! There are lots of stars in the sky. Some are big. Some are small.We can see them at night.板书:star,然后全班齐读单词。

(2)教师指着图上的一个星星问:Do you know the name of this star?引导生回答:Sorry,

I don't know.教师补充学生的回答:But I can look it up on the Internet.教师板书:look up,Internet.让学生说说这两个词的意思,然后带读这两个词。

(3)教师出示单词gym,并对全班说:Spell,please.全班拼读后教师问:Is it easy?I think it's very easy.板书:easy,让学生说说这个easy的意思,最后全班齐读单词。

2.教学句子:There was no library in my old school.Tell us about your school,please.

教师用课件出示一个“希望小学”的画面,对全班说:我们将请出这所“希望小学”里的一位同学来介绍他们的学校。但是他要求同学们要一起来说这句话:Tell us about your school,please.教师板书:Tell us about your school,please.全班齐读句子数遍后,教师点开录像画面,播放录像。

录像的解说词如:Welcome to our school! This is my classroom. There was no TV and computer in our classroom. Now we have a big TV and a new computer in it.There was no library in my old school. But now there is a big library in our school,There are many books in it.教师板书:There was no library in my old school.让学生说说句子的意思并齐读句子。

3.教学句子:How do you know that? There were no computers or Internet in my time.

教师提问:Who was the first man to step on the moon? When did he get there?How did he get there?根据学生的回答,教师追问:How do you know that?根据学生的回答教师总结:We can look up many things on the Internet. But there were no computers or Internet in my time.教师板书:How do you know that? There were no computers or Internet in my time.并带读。

4.教学A. Let-s try

(1)教师让学生翻开课本,读一读A.Let-s try中呈现的两个句子。

(2)教师播放A. Let-s try的录音,学生昕完录音后判断正误。

(3)全班校对答案。

5.教学A. Let -s talk

(1)教师播放A. Let's talk部分的录像,要求学生带着问题看录像:What was Grandpa's school like?录像播完后,让学生回答问题。

(2)让学生说说The Americans took about five days to get there in 1969.这句话的意思。

(3)再次播放A. Let's talk的录像,每句后暂停,要求全班跟读。

(4)播放A. Let -s talk的录像,将声音关闭后,要求全班分成三组为录像配音。

活动方式:教师将school, library, playground, computer room, art room, music room. dining hall, grass, gym等单词卡片贴在黑板上,并将炸弹放在某个单词下,要求学生按照顺序快速说出这些单词。当读到埋有炸弹的单词时,全班学生则要跳过不能发出声音,如果谁违规了,

全班学生则对着他说“One,two,bomb”。

2.活动:学校今昔谈

活动方式:学生两人一组就学校的过去和现在展开对话,然后教师请几组学生到讲台前表演。如:

Sl: Was there a computer in the classroom ten years ago?

S2: No, there was a TV and some fans in the classroom.

Sl: Was there a library in our school five years ago?

S2: Yes, but it was small. Now there is big and bright.

Sl:I like the gym.I often play basketball and ping-pong in it.

S2: But there was no gym three years ago.

Sl: You're right.

3.活动:听一听,猜一猜

活动方式:教师藏起一张运动项目的图片,让学生根据老师的描述,猜一猜是哪项运动项目,在活动过程中,学生可以随时猜,直到猜对为止,猜对的学生应给予奖励。如教师藏起一张蹋足球的图片:

T: We often play it on the playground.

S:Morning exercises.

T: No. We play a ball.

S:Basketball.

T: No. We often use our feet and head.

S:Football.

T: Yes.

教师示范后,可让一名学生抽出一张运动类的图片,由该生描述它的特征,其他学生来猜。

三、新课呈现( Presentation)

1.教学单词cycling和词组go cycling

教师描述:This is a sport. It's a popular sport. It's a cheap way to get around.It-s a sport of traveling on a bicycle.学生猜测后,教师出示骑车的图片说:This sport is cycling.教师板书:cycling,并采用“大小声”的方式操练单词。

教师边说:go cycling边模仿骑车的动作,骑到某个学生面前模拟将自行车交给这位学生,这位学生接过自行车后接着模仿骑车的动作说:go cycling,依次类推,全班接力说词组。游戏结束,教师板书:go cycling,全班边模拟骑车的动作边读词组。

2.教学单词badminton

教师出示羽毛球拍问学生:Do you like badminton? Can you play badminton?教师板书:badminton,play badminton,教师先分音节带读单词,然后引导全班齐读单词,再比一比谁最快记住这个单词。教师边挥动羽毛球拍边说:play badminton,然后教师将球拍交给学生,让学生也边挥拍边说词组。

3.教学单词ice-skate

教师出示冰鞋的图片问:Can you ice-skate?学生回答:Yes,I can.(No,I can' t.)教师板书:ice-skate,用升降调带读单词,全班拼读记忆单词ice-skate。

4.教学句子I didn't like winter before.I thought it was too cold,and I couldn-t go cycling.

教师提问:Which season do you like best? Why?学生回答后,教师说:I like winter. But I didn't like winter before.I thought it was too cold, and I couldn't go cycling.板书:But I didn't like winter before.I thought it was too cold, and I couldn't go cycling.眚诉学生:thought是think的过去式,could是can的过去式。最后让学生说说这两句话的意思,引导全班齐读句子。

教师出示动物赛跑的图片并介绍:This is a race. There were many animals in that race. The cheetah is the fastest of all.板书:race,cheetah和句子There were many animals in that race.先让学生说说这两个单词的意思并引导学生拼读,然后让学生说说句子的意思。

2.教学单词thought,felt,woke,trip和句子But suddenly he tripped and fell.

(1)教师出示单词:think,feel,wake,让学生说说这些动词的意思。然后告诉学生这些动词的过去式都是不规则变化的,边说边将板书补充成:think-thought,feel-felt,wake-woke,并带读这六个单词。

(2)教师板书:trip,让学生说说单词的意思。告诉学生:trip作为名词时意为“旅行”,作为动词时意为“绊倒”,它的过去式是规则变化的。让学生说说该单词的过击式,教师根据学生回答将板书补充为:trip-tripped。教师出示课文的插图说:He was in the race. But suddenly he tripped and fell.教师板书:But suddenly he tripped and fell.让学生说出该句子的意思后,师带读。

3.教学单词nothing,dream

教师提问学生:Did you have a dream last night?并板书:dream。先让学生说说单词的意思,再回答问题。教师说:I had a dream last night. In that dream there was nothing I could do,1 was worried.板书:nothing,先让学生说说单词的意思,再带读单词。

4.教学B.Read and write

(1)学生独立阅读课文内容,画出自己不理解的句子。

(2)请学生说出不理解的句子,教师适当指导。

(3)教师播放教学录像,学生边看录像边理解课文内容。

(4)全班在理解的基础上朗读以下句子:

①Wu Yifan drank it and suddenly he felt good,

②There was a second race.

(5)教师再次播放录像,全班跟读。

5.完成B.Read and write部分的练习

(l)Number the pictures.

让学生独立观察这三幅图,按文章的顺序为图片标号。全班找出描述这三幅图的句子,然后教师请一些学生来说说这些句子,最后全班一起看图说句子。

(2) Listen and fill in the blanks.

让学生先独立阅读这段对话,然后教师播放录音,学生根据录音内容填空,最后教师再

一、热身(Warm-up)

1.Sing a song Changes in me.

二、复习(Revision)

1.复习三会单词和词组:star, easy, look up, Internet, different, active, race,nothing, thought, felt, cheetah, trip. woke, dream。

(1)先抽读单词卡片,然后让学生看图说单词。

(2)活动:炸弹

活动方式:教师任意指定一个单词做“炸弹”,如:star。在抽读单词卡片的过程中碰到“star”这个单词时,学生只能读“Bomb!”,如果读“star”则被判出局。

2.复习四会单词和词组:dining hall, grass, gym, ago, cycling, go cycling, ice-skate, badminton。

(1)教师出示图片,学生抢答说单词,抢答到的学生还要拼读出单词。

(2)全班齐拼单词。

3.活动:Then and now

活动方式:学生两人一组,就家庭的变化进行对话,最后请一组学生到台前表演。如:

A: Where did you live ten years ago?

B: We lived in an old house. There wasn-t a study and a bathroom in it.

A: Where do you live now?

B: We live in a big house. It's very clean and bright.

A: How did your father go to work then?

B: He went to work by bus.

A: How about now?

B: He goes to work by car.

(3)教师播放录像,学生边看录像边理解故事内容。在理解故事内容的基础上,让学生模仿故事中人物的语音、语调朗读下列句子:

In 2050, there will be house robots.

They didn't do the dishes either!

We should help the earth now, so birds will have homes and the forests will be healthy and green again.

Before humans lived on the earth, whales already lived in the sea.

活动:环保小达人

活动方式:学生六人一组,制作一份英文版的保护环境的宣传海报。可以介绍动植物界及人类的生存危机,也可以介绍一些环保小举措,一起争当“环保小达人”。海报制作完成后先在班级展示,评出奖项,如:“最佳创意奖”“最佳版面奖”,最后选出一些作品进行全校展示。
