The Key to Balance: Concentration

Nowadays, it has become a consensus that we need to strike a balance between work and leisure so as to lead a healthy life. However, a new question arises: how can we achieve this purpose? My answer is concentration. (1) To briefly state, we should keep focused whenever we work or rest.

(2) Focusing on work during working hours enables us to improve our efficiency. Sometimes we are busy only because we work inefficiently and let work pile up. If we can concentrate on work during working hours, we’ll find most of the work, if not all, can be finished quickly. Thus, the resting hours can be saved

(3) Moreover, keeping focused while resting will improve the rest quality. It

seems that we are always complaining holidays are too short to ensure good rest. However, chances are that we never feel relaxed because we are often bothered by work even during holidays. As long as we concentrate on the leisure time, focusing on our family, friends, nature, we can feel really refreshed, which also afterwards benefits our work.

(4) All in all, to keep focused is the magic of rendering our life a benign cycle. So keep focused from now on.
