In modem society, people pay more and more attention to entertainment than before. I learn English for in modern society, English becomes more and more important. There are two points on this. I agree with the first one because English is a language spoken by billons of people and now is playing an important role within international business and trade. And English is the spoken language in the UN. So it is of importance to learn it well. We should know well about the world. learning it well will help you show yourself to the world。

The Chinese New Year is an important festival for Chinese people all over the word. It is also called The Spring Festival or The Lunar New Year.

The exact date of the festival on the western calendar changes from year to year. However The Chinese New Year take place from January 1st to February 19th.

On the Chinese calendar every year has an animal's name. These animals are rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, ram, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. A Chinese legend says these twelve animals had a race, the first year was named after the rat, the winner. The other eleven years were named according to the order the animals arrived in the race. The clever rat jumped on the ox's back, and then ate the end jumped over the ox's head to arrive first.

From my point of view, the reasons for this are that: modern people have an increasing pace of life and have no other choice to take better education, and the internet solve the problem by its unique superior. It have many schedule to take and reduce the distinct of space. Besides, we can make a face-to-face communication by internet just like having a private teacher.

I support this new way to study. How comfortable it is to learn what I need in anytime I want and browse numbers of useful information without leaving home for a step! I hold the point that, there must will be broad future for online education to grow. And it will do many people a help to get further development.

（一）My Favorite Form of Entertainment

Modern people have attached more and more importance on entertainment, since various kinds of stress is put on people both at work and in life. Also, the forms of recreation are becoming more and more diversified. So today, most people have their personal choices of entertainment.

My favorite form of entertainment is watching movie. It has several advantages. The first one is its convenience. I can watch a film with my notebook computer or even smart phone at any time I like. The cost of watching movie online or downloading is also very little.

The second is that some films, especially fiction or fantasy films such as the Harry Potter series, is full of imagination in their scripts, dialogues and plots. I feel like entering a whole new world where everything is different from that on earth when watching them. I like the feeling.

The last but the most important, movie is the reflection of life. I often see life of myself or my friends from the destiny of film roles. Sometimes, I will get some inspiration and understand the truth of life when finishing watching.

In a word, movie gives me entertainment, imagination and teaches me principle of life. I love watching movies!

The first thing I would consider when choosing a job is location. as time is important, i think we should find the best way to save the time. i don't want to waste my time on travel just to go to work everyday. it means less time to sleep, to do work at home, have a little fun with the family at night. time is really important. and i am sick and tired of travel public transportations. but if i drive by myself, it still won't make any change that i will enjoy it. it can change our mood, maybe because of the traffic. and because the traffic we might get late to work. there's so many things to think about when the location is a problem.

I think everyone will agree with this opinion of “Failure is the Mother of Success.” No matter in study or work, failure is everywhere. For examples, in examination one difficult test question will make us crazy and feel frustrated. After study, we will know how to solve it and become confident. When we stepped from collage to a business company, we even didn’t understand how to use the Fax machine. We always face with different failures and they seem to inescapable. Failures will ask us for attention and let us to try to find the way to escape them in the future. That’s the core meaning of the subject. The failure is one stage in the road whose terminal called success. It is well known for one kind of medicine called “101”. It has an interesting story said after 101 times of failure, the chemists succeeded to invent the magic medicine. This is a good story proves the subject. I hold the opinion of Failure is the Mother of Success. But I don’t think you will be close to success if you don’t have an anxiety for success.

（七）The Course I Hate Most of the Long-distance Education

The course I hate most of the long-distance education is English because I have spent much time and effort in English every day, only to find little improvement in my English studies. I failed several times on the English tests and I lose heart in it.

As far as I’m concerned, English is very difficult to learn. I find it hard to remember English words. Secondly English grammar is quite different from Chinese grammar. The most important reason is that I have little chance to practice English in my daily life.

I don't know what I can do to improve my English.

（八）One day in the park

Last Sunday, I got up very late. After having my breakfast, I called Jack to go to park with me, and he agreed happily. We met at the gate of the park and then walked inside to play.

We saw many people there. Some were doing exercise; some were reading books under the tree. There's also a very beautiful lake in the park.

It was just like a mirror. Jack and I bought two kites. The wind was so strong that we began to fly kites on the grass. We really had a very wonderful day in the park!

（九）Honesty Is the Best Policy

Honesty is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation since ancient times, we are taught to be a honest person from our childhood .Honesty is the best policy.

If you are dishonest, it’s impossible to gain other people’s trust. You’ll ruin your reputation and nobody will want to be friends with you or do business with you. If you deceive others, they are very likely to deceive you in return. Besides, in the long run, it will do harm to the moral character of the whole society.

On the other hand, people will respect and think highly of you if you are honest. If you tell the truth, other people are more likely to be honest with you. Telling the truth will help you live in peace and harmony with people around you. Telling the truth is not always easy, but it is always the right thing to do.

Honesty is the best policy. Even we don’t appeal to morality, just for your own self-interest, honesty is still the best policy. You can cheat all the people for a period of time, you can cheat some people all the time, but you cannot cheat all the people all the time.

There is no denying that trees not only play a magnificent role in keeping ecology in balance, but also provide people with various resources. To begin with, trees produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, which offer us fresh air. As greenhouse effect is getting more and more serious, planting more trees is an effective way to respond to it

Apart from this, it is tree that stabilizes soils and prevents them from being eroded by floods. Besides, trees can be applied to against desert. Moreover, trees perform the function of the regulation of air temperature and humidity. This benefit to peopl e’s fitt ing to the environment.
