What is the meaning of the matchstick men? Matchstick man is the person who cheats on others and creates a value for something that isn't here. This movie tells a story about two cons, one of them is Roy and the other is Frank. In the movie, Roy has serious mental disease, because he feels guilty after deceiving others. What is worse, he can't make himself under control sometimes. What's fun is that he calls himself a "cheat artist", because he doesn't rubber anything of anybody but they give him money by their own will. One day, all of a sudden, he had a girl, Angela, aged 14 years old. After that, he did himself best to be a good dad. Although Roy usually says that to be a con artist, you should make sure the person you are conning isn't conning you. Unfortunately, he was cheated by the Angela and frank, which made him lose all. After he lost all his money, he began to live a normal life. At the end of the movie, he got married with the saleswoman he loved and had their own baby. Furthermore, he forgave the girl who cheated on him before.

This film impresses me deeply. In my view, the theme of the film is forgiveness and fatherhood. On the one hand, the rich storyline is appealing and surprising. On the other hand, I am moved by ROY deeply, not only because he is a good father, but also he forgives the girl at last. At the end of the movie, he forgave the girl. Forgiveness gives him another opportunity to live a normal life.

There is no doubt that he is a great father. He hasn't been a father before, so he is often out of control. He loves that girl. In the belief of being a responsible father, he lets the girl return the money she got. The most important thing is that when he thought Angela had killed someone, he sent her away, took a blame for the murder and gave all of his money to the girl. This movie gives much enlightenment to me. First, Like duck to water. Nowadays, there are some official bribing. With time going by, they will be punished according to the law in the future. Second, it is forgiveness. Everyone does something wrong, but we should learn to forgive them.

Above all, no matter what the future is, we should learn to forgive.
