find the sentence pattern “If…you’ll∕the teachers will∕we will…”by themselves.) T:现在,我们再来仔细看一下,老师用红色的笔标注的地方,都有什么规律呢。“If…you’ll∕the teachers will∕we will…” OK. V ery good. 这些句子翻译成中文就是“如果……你就会∕老师就会∕我们就会……”我们在上一节课说过,这种句子结构在英语中被称为条件状语从句。

If you wear jeans,”“如果你穿牛仔裤。”这只是一个前提条件。后面的“we won’t let you in.”“我们不会让你进去。”是在这个前提条件下发生的事情。前面我们学习过原因状语从句和时间状语从句,在原因状语从句中和时间状语从句中。一个句子在句中充当了原因和时间的成分。在这儿,“If you wear jeans,”这个句子充当了条件状语,所以它被称为条件状语从句。

在我们运用条件状语从句的时候,有三个特别需要注意的地方(注意哦,好记性不如烂笔头,这儿要开始记笔记了):

1、在条件状语从句中,如果主句是一般将来时态或具有将来的含义,从句的谓语动词常用一般现在时态表示将来。

2、条件状语从句可以放在主句之前也可以放在主句之后。比如说:
