Rocky：In well-known Westminster Cathedral, there was a non-named tablet inscription. it tell us if we want to change something,like changing the world, changing our country, even changing our family, we should change our-self firstly. only by changing yourself one can attain his goal step by step.
To yourself, what is most important thing should we do?
Our china what is the most important tradition? filial piety, Absolutely, is the most important virtue. It has long been mentioned and talked, filial piety is traditional virtue and common character of all great person. Since our china see Confucianism as our primacy thought, and we have been teaching “the doctrine of the mean”, namely”Zhong Yong” more than 2000 years. And its essence had been rooted in our father, grandfather, ancestor, ancestor before ancestor, from a generation to a generation.
from a little boy, my parents or grandparents always told me, kids remember to be a finial person, and from then on, finial piety beat into my head, even though i really don?t understand..
as my grandfather always send me the idea of to be a man of loyalty and finial piety, and furthermore if i have enough ability i can do more good thing to help the needed people!

What is filial piety?
filial piety is a well-known chines traditional virtue of respect for one's parents, elders and ancestors. Confucianism has rooted deeply in our mind. Filial piety as the core of Confucianism moral thought, has also long been ingrained in our mind, which has significantly effect on our behavior and way of thinking all the time.

In 5000 years Chinese civilization, there are many story about filial piety both ancient to contemporary. such as,in conventional china there leaves the classical 24 stories of filial piety.
filial piety really affect a person, and create you to be better one. As a basic requirement or moral baseline,it is the beginning of a wholesome character person.

Nowadays even a small kids show their filial piety to there parents by help parents do the things they can do.Maybe you still remember the classical song 《mom is the best》
Whatever a great person or normal people, filial piety is the basic requirement to be a qualified person. It will not be hard to imaging a person of filial piety will also has many other fantastic personality,merciful, loyal, righteous and full of love and sympathy.

For parent and elder, filial piety provide the guarantee for keeping healthy and security when they get old. They pay so much to you throughout your life, before you growing up till you get married, but don?t need any more just your caring when they can?t remove, lack the security and fell alone.
All happy families are like one another; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. So if you want to pursue happiness you must be a filial piety person and your family must be a family full of filial piety.

Nowadays, elder has been a rising virtual problem for china, to set up the problem, filial piety was the key approaches. Core substance of modern novel filial piety includes loving parents, supporting parents and being gratitude to parents.
It is rooted in people?s psychological sense of being gratitude to parents. It embodies the moral feelings of loving parents. It ask the children to take moral responsibility of supporting their parents.
Parents and children is equal on personality and status. This is the promise of novel filial piety.
With the lifestyle is changed and quality of life is improved, modern people?s concept
of practicing filial piety should change and more and more flexible and user-friendly(为用户着想，好用的). In order to respect for the freedom and rights of the child generation fully, we should encourage people to use simplify, liberalization and diversification way when they want to practice filial piety in modern filial piety education

Large to society, small to oneself, filial piety is of great importance. We can?t imaging what a terrible situation it will be, if a person,a family,as well, our country lose this traditional virtue.
Filial piety, as Chinese tradition virtue, is the inner requirement to the judging of a wholesome person, to the forging of a sweet and comfortable family and to the building of a harmonious society.
