杭州“荣誉市民”司徒雷登
5在中美两国关系史上，恐怕没有哪一个人会像司徒雷登那样同时招致敌我双方的猛烈抨击，仿佛中美之间长达20多年的坚冰都由他一手造成。
然而，司徒雷登对中国政治、文化、教育的影响却是难以估量的。
杭州老乡1876年6月，司徒雷登出生于杭州天水桥附近的耶稣堂弄，11岁时才随父母回了美国。
他先在潘托普斯中学上学，再转入汉普顿—悉尼学院。
1899年进纽约协和神学院攻读神学，并加入“学生志愿赴国外传教运动”。
1904年年底，刚度完蜜月的司徒雷登偕妻子路爱玲重返中国，又在杭州生活了3年多时间，为主传播基督福音。
屈指算来，司徒雷登大约在杭州生活了14年。
谈不上对杭州有什么大的贡献，就连传教都是碌碌无为，毫无成就，却在“脑海中留有许多生动而美好的回忆”，“杭州是中国历史最悠久、风景最美丽的城市之一。
西湖山峦环抱，山上庙宇错落，十分令人喜爱。
远处是以钱江潮而著名的风景如画的钱塘江。
杭州的这些郊野景色长期以来一直是中国文学艺术中著名的题材”。
他入乡随俗，极喜欢自己出生的地方，甚至对杭州的方言都“怀有偏爱心理”，“这一方言在整个中国是很独特的，它是官话和吴语混杂的一种语言，早在南宋王朝迁都杭州时就形成了。
我对这种语言怀有偏爱心理，它好像具有其他方言所没有的轻快悦耳的音韵和丰富的表现力”。
为了满足司徒雷登对杭州的“偏爱”，数十后的1946年，杭州市市长周象贤为他戴上了荣誉市民的桂冠，并送他一把象征着杭州城市的金钥匙。
据说，授予司徒雷登杭州荣誉市民的仪式在青年会四楼会场举行，各机关、团体、学校都派人参加。
证书用国产冰梅纸写成，红绫裱制，红木盒装置，上写：“兹由杭州市参议会公推司徒雷登为杭州荣誉市民，此证。
”市长周象贤、议长张衡署名，加盖两机关公章。
金钥匙系纯金制成，长7.9厘米，厚1.5厘米，重8钱6分，上刻“司徒雷登先生。
市长周象贤赠”字样。

陪外宾的校领导本来因碰到阿图不合时宜地在这出现而锁紧的眉头忽然间舒展了，也热情地邀请外宾来和他对一局，在友好的掌声中，他以一记抽球险胜……虽然学校领导再三说，楼里的小孩子不要去看外宾，可好奇心驱使阿图一次次地违规，或者是目不转睛地盯着金发碧眼的外宾，不知不觉地跟出好长一段路；或是指指点点大声地议论着，摇头摆脑旁若无人；小水甚至悄悄走近面善的阿姨，用小手探摸一下她比阿图腰还粗的小腿，又触电般飞也似地逃开了。

The Lingyin Temple, one of the oldest and most prestigious Buddhist temples in China, is a must-visit. The temple is surrounded by lush forests and has many ancient pagodas and statues. We can also visit the Six Harmonies Pagoda, an impressive tower that offers panoramic views of the Qiantang River.Hangzhou is also famous for its tea culture. We can visit the Dragon Well Tea Plantation, where you can learn about thetea-making process and taste some of the finest green tea in China. Afterward, we can enjoy a traditional tea ceremony at one of the many teahouses in the city.When it comes to food, Hangzhou is a culinary paradise. The city is known for its fresh seafood, savory dumplings, and sweet desserts. I will take you to sample some of the best local dishes,such as West Lake fish in vinegar sauce, shrimp dumplings, and sweet osmanthus rice cakes.I also plan to take you to explore the nearby towns and villages, such as Wuzhen and Xitang, which are famous for their well-preserved historic architecture and charming canal systems. 我是 Sunny，今年27岁，来自荷兰。
我和我的丈夫Manu（来自巴布亚几内亚）、女儿Genesis生活在中国杭州。
我在英语培训学校教从3到11岁的孩子，Manu在这里的大学学习国际法。
