根据文中Films: Saturday Fiction set for screenin 中的Set in Shanghai in 1941, it follows the star who is working undercover gathering intelligence for the Allies (盟军), while starring in a new play. C选项根据文中the film made its world premiere(首映)at the Venice Film Festival in September 判断首映不是on Dec 7.D 选项中不是聚焦在珍珠港事件,和文中不符。

Yet on both sides of the Atlantic some companies make large profits in concentrated markets, and some billionaires have become successful where competition has failed。

When capitalism functions well, competition reduces profits for some but also produces them for others as entrepreneurs seize more markets.和This process creates vast

benefits for society.

抓住题目中的关键词expropriation like Thomas Piketty’s proposal

The United States and Britain have very different views on e-cigarettes.

72. under 根据文中第五段have recently taken steps to ban the flavored e-cigarettes已

73. avoid / stop 根据文中第六段recommends that people consider not using e-cigarettes.

74. risk 根据文中第三段vaping is much less dangerous than smoking.

75. control/ check

Many European countries, including Austria, Belgium, Germany and Italy, consider e-cigarettes the same as tobacco products and control the sales of them.

However, France, just like Britain, hardly sets limits on the sales of e-cigarettes In those countries, e-cigarettes are sold as usual consumer

77. linked/ related. The CDC said that the mysterious lung illness appears to be in connection with THC vaping products中的in connection with 与…有关转换成be linked/ related to

78. return 根据文中第七段“The reality with smoking is, if you tell people to stop vaping, they will go back to tobacco and tobacco kills,中go back to 回到转换成return to 79. completely 根据文中第11段Several lawmakers suggested complete removal of e-cigarettes from the market中complete 修饰名词removal, 题目中是修饰动词remove 用副词修饰。

The vaping devices usually heat a solution(溶液)containing nicotine into a vapor,中containing nicotine 现在分词修饰前面的溶液,转换成尼古丁被含在溶液中用过去分词作后置定语修饰前面的nicotine,故用contained.

五作文

Nowadays mobile phones are having so many effects on interpersonal communication that people tend to be glued to mobile phones over meals, ignoring the nice food being served. Luckily, many Chinese families ban mobile phones at the dinner table.

I sing high praise for the practice. With the fast development of technology, digital devices have taken up people’s little spare time that should have been spent on face-to-face communication with family members. In this case, the practice serves as a timely reminder that people should reflect on their daily behavior concerning phone use and reverse the trend, helping restore dining traditions.

It’s high time that effective measures should be taken to get rid of our addiction to mobile phones. First and foremost, we can limit our use of them purposely, leaving room for real-life communication. Additionally, we can get involved in various activities to improve our interpersonal relationships and reach out for our phones only when necessary. Only in this way can we prevent too much digital invasion of our lives.

(4)in that 35 1 which 33 1 whichever 30 1 where 28 1 交际用语如何应答21 1 其中22、27、35的错误率较高。

A It’s no secret that your personal characteristics directly affect how you interact with the world-but you might be surprised at just how deep it goes. Experts think that your personality can even affect how you exercise and influence what sports are suitable for you. Highly Sensitive Highly sensitive people may be more uncomfortable with group exercise classes or team sports where they feel their every move is being observed. Additionally, they may feel more upset over an ineffective or poor workout, says researcher Elaine Aron. For such people, individual or non- competitive activities like biking, running and hiking are ideal. Type A Personality Type A individuals often have an “all or nothing approach” to exercise. This personality type is known for sticking closely to their plan, not to mention being super competitive. However, this can cause them to stick too closely to a fitness routine, which means they might try to push past an injury. To get better exercise results, Type A people need to be aware that following an exercise plan too strictly may limit their progress. They should be more flexible and listen to their body, especially when they are in pain. Type B Personality
