以上数据表明,我院学生四级考试通过率逐年提高(个别年份有所下降),其原因分析如下:

04年以前英语授课教师均为外聘教师,从04年起学院开始聘用英语专职教师,工作认真负责,主抓英语教学,使过级率有所提高. 从04年起学院组织学生参加四级考试培训,对学生进行集中辅导. 05年起学院创办了外语教学台,使学生听力水平有所提高.

但从教学过程中发现如下问题:

1. 职高学生的英语基础普遍差,跟不上教学进度,不爱学习,通过四级考试的学生上课专心学习,能紧密跟上教师的教学步伐.

2. 影响四级考试过级率的另一主要原因是存在学生严重缺考的现象,以及学生考试中应付考试,不认真答题.

3. 与其他院校相比,四级考试的不同之处在于,其他院校在考前进行全员模拟,不合格者不允许参加四级考试,参加人数少于我院,所以我院的过级率相对受到了影响.
