初三英语复习策略

一、指导思想

首先,在复习过程中要抓纲务本熟悉考情。“纲”就是教师要进一步认真研读《新课程标准》,明确《课标》中对于初中各年级段(特别是初三年级)的教学要求,反复研究《2009年中考英语考试说明》,并以它们为依据,系统地梳理英语教材知识,把握中考要求和考试范围。《考试说明》是中考命题的依据,也是教师与学生复习的方向。“本”就是要把初中英语教材一至六册的内容作为复习和巩固的重点。

其次,要熟悉教材分析学情。不管对哪个层次的学生来说,基础知识的掌握都非常重要。而基础知识正是源于教材。从近几年的中考试题中不难发现有相当一部分试题,是来自教材的语言点、句型或课后注解的原句或改造题。分析学情,即分析学生现状——学生的思想情况、学习态度、知识层次等都应做到心中有数,以利于因材施教,切实落实基础,抓好每一环节的复习,争取在保证基础知识部分得分的前提下,体现听力、阅读和写作方面的优势。

再此,每年学科中考研讨会也是非常重要的。因为一些最新的考试动态会在会上强调,只有教师领会并贯彻了会议精神,落实了《考试说明》的要求,学生才有可能在教师正确的指导下复习,收到较好效果。

二、方法探究

初三英语复习的目标是夯实基础,强化训练,培养能力。根据近几年中考试题特点及学生实际情况,我采取“三轮复习法”作为毕业班的总复习计划。

第一轮复习:是将一至六册教材内容全面复习,既过教材;

第二轮复习:是对考点、考题、中考题型进行专项强化训练;

第三轮复习:是综合练习和适应性模拟考试。

做到着眼全面,突出重点,点面结合,精讲多练,把全面复习和重点复习有机结合,既系统全面又有所侧重,使学生较好地掌握所学知识,考出优异成绩。在复习过程中,我要求学生每人准备一个笔记本作为“错题集”。每次练习或考试之后把做错的题目抄下来,然后把老师对该题的讲解,或自己根据参考资料对该题的注解附在题目旁边当备注,这样学生可适时翻阅,不断检验,在下一次碰到同样或类似的题目时,就可大大降低出错的概率。

复习过程具体安排如下:

1.教材复习阶段(2009年4月1日--30日)约16课时

2.专项训练阶段(2009年5月初--15日)约10课时

3.综合练习和适应性模拟考试阶段(2009年5月16日--6月中旬)约15课时

第一轮是对教材基础知识的复习。

针对学生对已学基础知识,因时间久,部分已遗忘的共性,本着“依纲务本”和“温故知新”的原则,要求学生一步一个脚印,扎扎实实搞好基础知识的复习。这个阶段按每课或每单元进行全面复习。按教材前后顺序以单元为单位归纳语言点,把好单词关,注重基础词汇、常用句型和课文、对话等知识,同时要采取一些必要的措施狠抓落实,以巩固和增强复习效果。具体措施有:

(1) 过教材时要根据复习内容,布置适量的难度适中的练习。

(2) 循环自我检测考试,即在复习完若干单元后,进行阶段性测试,要求学生进行互测,教师还可抽查,并对试卷进行评分登记,这样可以充分调动学生的学习积极性和自觉性。

(3) 阶段性测试。可分单元或分册、分类。要突出解决重点和难点。

如:复习到语法“ have (has) been ”和“ have (has) gone ”的区别时,应当特别讲清楚它们之间的相似点和不同点。相似点:两句都有去某个地方的意思。不同点:“have (has) been”是曾经到过某地,现在人已经回到说话的地方。如:Ihavebeen to Beijing.(我曾经到过北京。)而“ have (has) gone ”是表示去某地方的人不在说话的地方,或是人已经向某地出发在于路上,或是人已经到达某处,或是人已经在返回的路上。如:He has goneto Beijing.(他已经去北京了。)第二轮复习是对考点、语法项目、中考题型进行专项强化训练的复习阶段,要求突出重点,以练习为主,精讲多练。比如复习到词汇块时,讲完后即发此专项练习材料,第二天检查并讲评,牢固掌握。在统揽教材,有了第一轮复习之后,在学生对基础知识掌握的比较扎实的基础上,相应地提高要求,进行系统整理消化,抓住重点,加深理解,强化记忆,对历年中考题型及考点进行强化训练。要求学生对那些在教材中多次出现和辅导教材中一再提及,反复强调的部分,应视为重点,格外加以注意。同时有针对性地指导学生记忆的方法,培养学生记忆的能力和答题的技巧。此外,通过练习查漏补缺,及时解决存在的问题。配备的练习是(学习之友初三(下))。如果学生知识掌握不系统、内容混淆互相干扰,就会在解题时不会判断失误,做错题目。这要求教师在这一阶段复习过程中防止简单的重复,反对面面俱到,而是遵循精讲多炼的原则,做到讲练评结合。既要指导学生如何解题,掌握解题要领,又要帮助学生在答题时做到灵活运用,触类旁通,举一反三,以牢固掌握重点知识。

具体措施有以下几个方面:

(1) 过好语音关

(2) 掌握基本词汇知识

(3) 体会英语语法的实际应用

(4) 正确使用交际用语

(5) 注重阅读能力的培养

(6) 书面表达

(7) 坚持听说能力的训练

1.过好语音关

在初三英语复习阶段中,语音是复习的基础知识之一。语音的复习要简练,一带而过。

主要掌握48个国际音标,掌握元音字母在重读开、闭音节中的发音以及常见的元音字母组合如:ar,ea,or,ou,ow等的读音,掌握辅音字母c,h,g等在单词中的读音、连读、不完全爆破,句子语调、句子重音等。在语音复习课上应注意观察、归纳、总结,同时记忆不符合读音规则的单词,如have,give等。

具体方法是:

(1)制表

绘制国际音标分类表,分元音和辅音两大类,然后再细分,并在每一栏内加上发这个音的字

母或字母组合,并附上例词,使学生一目了然。

(2)汇集

1)不发音的元音字母。

2)不发音的辅音字母:Christmas,autumn climb,honest,knife等;

3)与读音规则不符的词:machine,have,breakfast,Sunday,said等;

4)音同而形和意不同的词:weight,Wait;through,threw;too,two,to;buy,by,bye等,以及词形相同读音不同的词如read,read[red]以及音形相同而意不同的词,如right(对的,右边的,权利)等。此外还有一些加了―s以后发音有了变化的单词:say [sei]――says houses[hauziz]等。

(3)讲解和小结

通常用课本上的例句讲解连续、不完全爆破以及升、降调和句子重音等一般使用情况,然后小结。如:降调一般用于:陈述句、特殊疑问句、祈使句、感叹句和选择疑问句的后半部分;升调一般用于:一般疑问句、语气很婉转很客气的表示请求的祈使句、选择疑问句的前半部分、反意疑问句的后一部分(把握性不太大时)、句首状语和例举人或物等。

(4)听写

2.掌握基本词汇知识

词汇总复习主要分为单词拼写、词语释义和构词法知识三个方面。主要采用分类法。

§2-1单词拼写的复习方法

(1)采用内容分类记忆法

如:按星期、月份、水果、蔬菜、季节、三餐、日期与节日等的拼写;如按时间、学

科名称、同义词、反义词、同音异义词、读音(规则)、文具、交通、颜色、动植物、职业、国家名称、同族词根等进行归类,使学生便于记忆易于区别,形成条理化、系统化。

例如:①学习用品名称:pen pencil, pencil-box, knife, ruler, rubbe

②月份名称:January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.

③星期名称:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

音同形异词的归纳。例如:no-Know, father-farther, our-hour, write-right, etc.

(2)图示记忆法(8个方向、语言国家表、家谱……)等.

§2-2词义释义的复习方法

主要采用词义的归纳如:

①一词多义:如:stop v.停止, n.停车站。watch v.观看,n.手表。

②一义多词:如:say可归纳比较tell, speak, talk.

③同义词:如:begin-start, rest-break, difficult-hard, etc.

④反义词:如:above-below, open-clost, up-down, man-woman, etc.

§2-3构词法知识的复习方法

主要采用构词法归纳例如:

①派生:把前后缀加在词干上构成新词。如后辍er加在有些动词后面,表示从事某种动作

的人或物。如:buildbuilder, singsinger, teachteacher, workworker, etc. 如前缀un加在有些词语前面,就将原词义改变为另外的词义。如:fair unfair, known,unknown, able,unable, happy,unhappy ,etc.

②合成:把几个词合成为一个新词。如:news+paper=newspaper;black+board=blackboard;basket+ball=backetball, etc.

※其他归纳比较的方法,不一一列举。

▲需要指出的是,要特别注意同义词(或近义词)的辨析,因为学生使用时容易混淆。通常采取“例句――讲解――归纳”的三段式方法。

例如:interest,interesting与interested的辨析:

①He Showed special interest in science.

②This book is interesting to me.

③I am interested in the film.

词性与词义:interest(n.兴趣、趣味),interesting(adj.感兴趣的、关心的),interested (adj,有趣味的、引起兴趣的)。

归纳:①Interest为名词,使用时不易混淆。

②interesting与interested均为分词形容词,都可用作表语或定语。

③interesting属外向性质的词,用于指人、(事、物)受的外在影响。意为“使(外)人感兴趣的”其主语或被修饰的可以是人也可是事或物。

④interested属内性质的词,用于指人的内心感受。意为“(内心)对…感兴趣”,其主语只能是人;作定语时,也只修饰人,不能修饰事或物。

※关于短语和句型的复习

短语复习

短语复习主要指动词短语和介词短语,其中尤以动词短语为重点。

(1)容易混淆的动词短语如:talk to, talk about, go on, go up, go for, give in, give up, put on, put up, put off; get in, get up, get on, get off等。还要注意表达多种汉语意思的短语。如put on(放……上;穿上;戴上;上演),put up(举手;建造;搭起;投宿,过夜)等。(2)介词短语如in front of, in the front of, over the radio, in the newspaper等。

(3)名词短语如a pair of trousers, a piece of wood, a block of ice, a cup of tea, all the time 等。

复习方法可采用观察法或对比法等。如:

be made of 成品中看得见原材料,只起物理变化

be made from成品中看不出原材料,起化学变化

be made in表示在某地制造

例如:

1)Clouds are made of water.

2)Paper is made from wood.

3)Jinxing Colour TVs are made in Shanghai.

句型复习

句型的复习一般采取句型转换或改写句子的方式来进行操练和巩固。例如:

(1)so…that, too…to 和en ough…to

He is so young that he can’t go to school.(复合句)

He is too young to go to school.(简单句)

He isn’t old enough to go to school.(简单句)

(2) both…and和notonly…butalso

Both my father and my mother are teachers.(动词用复数)

Not only my father but also my mother is a teacher.(动词用单数)

(3) neither…nor和either…or

Neither the boy nor the girl knows the answer.(两人都不懂得答案。)

Either the boy or the girl knows the answers.(两人中有一人懂得答案。)

(4) It takes sb.some time to do sth.改写为sb.spends some time (in)doing sth.(某人花费多少时间做某事)

It took me two hours to finish my homework.

I spent two hours (in) finishing my homework.

(5) 含有“…than any other one” 和“…than any of the other ones” 的句子应注意分别。

例如:

The Great Pyramid is bigger than any other pyramid.

The Great Pyramid is bigger than any of the other pyramids.

(6) 牵涉到短暂性动词的句子:(以join为例)

Li Ming joined the army in 1991.

Li Ming has been a soldier for three years.

Li Ming has been in the army for three years.

It is three years since Li Ming joined the army.

(7) 句型转换类型有单复数改写、同义词改写、陈述句变问句、改为反意问句、改为感叹句、对划线部分提问等,教师在复习过程中应将重要句型整理出来,并进行分类训练,教会学生发现其变化特点,掌握转化方法。如

⑴How many…和How much…句式

⑵for… \ since…

⑶too…to… \ not… enough to … \ so …that…

⑷either …or …\ neither…nor…

3.体会英语语法的实际应用

主要分为两大单元,即各种词性的复习(名词、动词、代词、冠词、数词、形容词、副词、介词、连词及动词)和句法(简单句、并列句与复合同,直接引语和间接引语及被动语态等)两大类。

语法的复习要兼顾句法和词法。句法以掌握五种基本句型为核心,还要复习宾语从句,状语

从句等,在掌握句法的基础上,分析理解词法。词法以动词为重点,掌握正确的时态用法。动词的时态有八种,还有主动、被动语态和直接、间接引语之分,又有动词不定式、动名词和现在分词相混淆,怎样才能复习好呢?在复习中要注意理清语法知识脉络,使之系统化。对比它们的具体用法、特征、形式、句式以及特殊用法,辅以练习,包括时态间的相互转化,以及在具体题型中如何判断确定具体时态结构,要求学生关键抓住句中时间状语特征和上下文联系。在感性认识的基础上归纳语法规则,再以语法规则指导语言实践,从而提高理解语法概念和规则的能力以及运用规则的能力。当我们复习到几种时态的用法与构成时我们可以采用图表比较法,使语法内容直观明了,一目了然。

用背诵学过的课文中的例句记语法规则。如各种时态的被动语态和情态动词的被动语态这一语法项目,可要求学生背诵,力求使语法规则、句法结构通俗化,易于理解,并结合相应的练习材料,学以致用。如:Enlgish is spoken by many people.

通常采用以下方法:

(1)先单项后综合,精讲多练

每复习一个语法项目,我都要精心设计一套体系比较完整、难易适中的单项练习,先让学生做,后进行讲评,然后再进行一些简短的归纳。如一般现在时重点抓主语是第三人称单数的句子变化;现在完成时重点讲不能和表示过去的确切的时间状语连用、短暂动词不能和表示一段的时间状语连用;在含有时间、条件状语从句的复合句中,若主句中的谓语动词为一般将来时,从句中的谓语动词用一般现在时表示,注意宾语从句中的if与条件状语从句if的区别。如:Ask her if she______ (come)here if she_____(have)time tomorrew. 第一个if引导的宾语从句,应填will come,而第二个if才是引导的条件从句。故填has。

(2)单项练习做完后,根据中考要求再做三至五份综合性的练习。每次练了以后,都必须进行查漏补缺,普遍的问题全班补救,个别问题课后辅导,要特别兼顾中下等生。

4.正确使用交际用语

在复习中,要能运用《日常交际用语简表》中的表达方式进行简单的交际。

5.注重阅读能力的培养

阅读能力的培养是英语教学的主要内容。

“读”有两种概念。一是出声“朗读”(即:念“),二是不出声“阅读”。在毕业班复习中,自然以后者为主。心理学家及语言学家们认为,阅读技能是最基本的阅读能力,是顺利完成阅读能力方法。它有三个基本的要素:速度、理解、和词汇量。通过阅读同学们可以培养自己语感,而语感又是学好英语的重要因素。从中考角度看,阅读理解、完形填空占重要地位,所以阅读训练在英语学习中是显得尤为重要的一环。从这几年的中考试题看逐渐加强了对阅读能力的综合考查。从动词填空,到看图填空,完形填空,阅读理解(增加到四篇)都是以短文的形式出现,这说明了试题不仅要求学生掌握所学的词汇和语法知识,还要求学生结合文章大意对其进行综合运用能力。因此这几类题型有必要进行专门性的操练。阅读对初中毕业生来说是一种较高水平的能力要求,主要考查阅读速度和理解能力。要提高理解能力,首先要有一定的词汇量和丰富扎实的语言知识,同时还要提高思维能力,并具有一定的自然科学、社会科学常识和其他文化背景及风土人情常识。这就需要同学们保证一定量的课外阅读,并

有意识地进行阅读技巧训练,如精读、略读、选读、速读、带着问题读,利用关键词、关键句去领悟隐含的意思等。对完形填空、阅读理解,要精选试题,进行强化训练,并要求学生在规定的时间内完成,使学生达到一定的熟练程度,提高学生的阅读理解能力,同时也提高学生的答题速度。

除平时应多读多练,扩大知识面外,还须掌握一定的应考方法。记得有篇文章曾介绍过阅读理解题可用顺序法和逆序法。顺序法即先阅读后做题,再回头查证。而逆序法确实可以提倡使用,即先看后面题目,带着问题到前面材料中找答案,此法目的性强,可节省时间,提高考试效率。

训练的方法

(1)强化阅读训练

英语阅读与其他学科不同,并非一朝一夕可以学好,也不是几下就能突击的。它需要平时点点滴滴、日日夜夜积累的。要培养学生英语阅读能力,首先教师必须要求每个学生每日做一篇阅读理解题,然后下堂课时在班上让学生讲这一篇短文的大意;尔后,就对学生错得最多的问题进行分析。由此而来,学生们的自觉性就慢慢提高了。为了让学生“热”起来,进一步提高阅读水平,老师必须精心设置一些恰当的阅读材料,让学生每日读两篇短文。一篇即要看又要做后面的题目,谓之精读;一篇只看不做,培养语感,谓之泛读。持久下去,学生们一拿到阅读题就进入阅读的状态。这样强化训练:一来,适应中考;二来,提高了学生的阅读能力。

(2)教会学生带着问题理解

理解对阅读能力有决定性的意义,教师应设计一些合理的阅读练习。教师要引导学生在阅读前、中、后都要向自己提出些问题;并鼓励学生都用自我提高的阅读方法。

(3)训练学生阅读速度

在复习中进行单项训练,在限时阅读的同时,注意帮助学生纠正“回视”的坏习惯,培养“跳跃式”阅读法,逐步扩大“识别间距”和逐步克服“心译”的依赖。这样做,使学生在做完形、阅读理解、是非等几类题时就不会感到棘手了。另外,词汇的掌握对提高阅读速度和理解程度有很大的影响。掌握词汇越多,阅读速度才能越快,理解程度才能越深。通过这些方法的实施,诚然有量变到质变,使大多数的学生提高阅读的技巧,也就是他们的素质潜能增加了。

※阅读理解的答题步骤:

解答这类题目,一般采用三个步骤

(1)首先通读全文,迅速抓住文章内容,在不影响理解的前提下,尽可能快速阅读,并重点抓住主要信息。

(2)阅读短文后的选择题,包括题干和选择项,明确问题的要求后,再细读全文或有关段落,最后选定答案。

(3)答完一篇短文的全部题目后,再把短文读一遍,逐一核对答案。

※完形填空的答题步骤:

(1)重视首句的开篇启示作用。

(2)通读全文,弄懂大意。

(3)符合短文内容,遵循语法规则。

(4)复读全文,核定答案。

6、书面表达

书面表达这是一种新型的试题,必考的难题,是学生比较容易失分的试题。书面表达题目在于考查学生语言综合组织能力,除了认真审题,端正书写等常规性的训练以外,平时要多写作文,因此在第一、二轮复习过程中应该多加练习,逐渐培养学生的写作能力,形式要多样,如可以要求学生连词造句,看图写话,看图填词,汉译英,看图写短文,根据英汉提示写短文,缩写课文大意,写日记,书、对话、通知、说明等方式进行训练。或适当对一些图表进行写作练习。应注意对学生讲清楚日记、书信、信封、通知、电话留言等的写作格式和方法;还有应注意检查句意通顺、句子结构正确、标点符号、大小写使用等。并从范文中发现错误,改正错误,总结错误。

7、坚持听说能力的训练

从中考题型来看,近年来对听、读、写能力的考查份量逐渐加强。复习中要进行适量的听力强化练习,不能光顾着对语言的归纳总结而忽视了听的能力的训练。要想具备良好的听力,必须靠平时反复训练。要安排一定的时间进行强化性听力训练,熟悉测试题型。可结合听课文原声带、听力训练题以及收听或收看电台、电视台的中学生英语节目等方式,获得听力技巧,并能从重音、语词的改变,从说话者的不同语气,去领会说话者所要表达的、但又未明确说出的意思。

听力题,尤其是中考前的一个月,应加强训练,做到每天都有听力练习,以便提高听力应试能力。

如上所谈,为了提高素质,初三英语总复习阶段听说能力势在必行,不能忽视,我采取以下做法:

(1)坚持值日生报告制。充分利用5分钟,为学生提供听说机会,在这段时间,教师也经常口述或朗读一些短篇故事、对话,提供听说机会,同时补充一些有关英语口语中表达习惯的差异知识。如英语中用“Hi”“Hi”“Dood morning!”等称呼;而汉语则用“Have you eaten yet?”或“Where are you going ?”。其实在英语中,这两句分别是表示你邀请别人与你一道同餐和你对别人不礼貌,你干涉了别人的私事。

(2)复习每篇课文前,通过听新教材课文录音,模仿了地道的英美人语音、语调,恢复了听力练习,也使学生再现课文的内容。

(3)适当补充难易适度的听力练习强化听力。

(4)“听写”要贯穿于英语教学的始终。

由于“应试教育”的弊端,使初三毕业班的不少老师忽视了听写,甚至取消听写。我认为这种情况有悖“英语课程标准”的要求,不利于英语综合能力的提高。多年的教学实践和上高中后反馈信息证明了听写是初中英语教学的一个重要环节,应坚持始终。我教过的大部分上高中学生说:“初中听写的效果对他们上高中听语音课感到容易”几年来,我坚持三听写:①听写单词、短语、写出划线音标。②听写课文有关段落。③听写结构简单、没有生词的材料。(如:便条、书信、通知等)从中收到很好的效果。

第三轮的复习是综合练习,是进行考前指导与适应性训练(中考模拟考试)的复习。

主要目的是适应中考要求,侧重培养学生审题和解题的能力,同时要求学生在教师的指导下进行综合练习和模拟测试,通过知识考查与能力考查并重,提高学生的应试技巧。因此可以通过模拟的中考试卷让学生更加熟悉中考题型,为真正的中考做好充分的准备。从而使复习达到由知识→能力→知识的良性循环。

有了前两轮的复习,学生对知识已经有了一定程度的掌握,所以要求师生全力投入到综合性的练习。具体做法:

一是根据当年中考考点和要求精选或自编中考模拟试题。对学生进行适当性的训练提高学生的答题速度。

二是对以前考生易做错的题目,再次以试题的形式出现,让考生得到强化。注重知识的广度和深度,提醒他们由一个知识点联想到与之相关的知识点,做到知识的串连。这样就有利于学生自觉或不自觉地在头脑中建构一个较为稳定的知识结构体系,从而达到用英语进行交际和运用的目的。

三是注重听、说、读、写四种语言技能的有机整合,在复习语言点的时候配合语境进行复习,使学生更容易接受和掌握。

四是在最后阶段,应教会学生一些心理状态的调整知识,对考生进行心理培训和调节,以及强调在答题时应注意的细节。如健康、饮食、情绪等方面,以最佳状态迎接中考。

三轮复习其间所进行的准备工作量之大之难。因此我们必须花大量时间去备好每堂课,拟好复习提纲,出好每份练习试卷。在备课过程中教师应善于提炼精华,抓住重点,突破难点;善于找出学生病灶所在,对症下药;善于发现知识间的内在规律以及纵向横向联系,把零碎散乱的知识串联起来,进行整理归纳;善于运用典型题目使学生对知识的运用一目了然,掌握解题方法。其次,应紧扣题型,力求对不同内容采取不同的方法,立足提高课堂效率,重视课后反思,努力探索教育教学规律。

复习是教学的一个重要环节,初三英语复习工作必须有方向性、目的性、归纳性、系统性、灵活性,应把握好复习的广度、深度和时间分配。坚持“教为主导、学为主体,练为主线,思维训练为核心”的原则,实现从应试教育向素质教育的转变。通过这三轮的认真复习,不但能提升学生综合运用英语语言知识的能力,而且让学生对中考的题型、答题程序、审题、规范书写等都有所掌握,从而使学生从不同角度得到反复的复习和强化练习,由浅入深,既有点的知识,又有面的综合,使知识系统化,使能力得到提高、加强。同时随熟练程度的提高,学生在心理压力上也得到相应的调节。从而使学生满怀信心地参加考试,基础扎实了,心态平和了,自然能取得好成绩。
