第十堂观点态度题如何回答

掌握观点态度题的解题方法。

观点态度题主要考查考生能否正确理解作者写作时所持的观点、写作意图,作者在阐述文章主题时的语气或对他所论述对象的态度。

作者或文中人物的观点,多数情况下文中都有明确的说明,题目只是对原文内容进行了一定程度的转换,考生需要做的只是辨别。作者或文章人物的态度,多数情况下只是在字里行间流露出来,考生需要从原文的用词和句式中判断出其中蕴涵的感情色彩。该类题型考查方向总结如下:

一、作者对某人或某事的观点

题目询问作者对某人或某事物的观点。这种题目一般考查的是对文章主人公或主题事物的观点。以第一人称行文的文章,作者的观点往往出现带有第一人称标志词(I,we,my)的句子中。多数文章则是以一种客观论述的手法行文,作者的观点会在段落的首尾或者文章的首尾出现。

【真题示例1】(旧06-06)

【原文】

Educating girls quite possibly yie lds a higher rate of return than any other investment available in the developing world. Women s education may be unusual territory for economists, but enhancing women s contribution to development is actually as much an economic as a social issue.

【题目】

二、作者对某人或某事物的态度

这类题目直接询问作者对某人或某事的态度。作者的态度或褒或贬或中立,或关心或不在意,或喜欢或厌恶,或坚信或怀疑。在以第一人称行文的文章中,应留意那些可以直接表示作者态度的动词(doubt,appreciate,concern等)。在以一种客观论述的手法行文的文章中,应特别注意形容词和副词等暗含作者态度的词汇。一些特殊句式(祈使句、疑问句、感叹句)本身也包含着作者的态度。

常用于表达观点或态度的词有:

positive(赞成的);supporting, supportive(支持的);praising(赞扬的);optimistic(乐观的);admiring(羡慕的);interesting(有趣的);humorous(幽默的);serious(严肃的);enthusiastic(热情的);pleasant(愉快的);polite(礼貌的);concerned(关切的);sober(冷静的);disgusted(感到恶心的,厌恶的);critical(批评的);negative(否定的,反对的);suspicious, sceptical, skeptical(怀疑的);tolerant(容忍的,忍让的);worried(担忧的);pessimistic(悲观的);depressed(沮丧的);disappointed(失望的);ironic(讽刺的);sarcastic(挖苦的);bitter(痛苦的);cynical(玩世不恭的);sentimental(感伤的);emotional(激动的);angry(气愤的); biased(偏见的);indifferent(冷淡的,不关心的);impassive(冷淡的,不动感情的);uninterested(不感兴趣的);neutral(中立的);impersonal(不带个人感情的);subjective(主观的);objective(客观的);informative(提供信息的);impartial(不偏袒的)等
