一、教学设计思路

结合学生生活设计活动,使学生在练习中掌握如何谈论交通工具和距离;运用图片等辅助教学。

二、教学目标

(一)知识

掌握如何谈论交通工具和距离:How do you get to ...? How long does it take? bicycle, subway, car, train, bus stop, train station, bus station, subway station, get to, how far, minute, kilometer, mile, transportation, calendar

(二)能力

能够合理安排行程,并选用恰当的交通工具。

(三)情感

动手调查,体验实际调查的方法和过程。

三、教学重点

谈论交通工具和距离:How do you get to ...? I take ... I walk. bicycle, subway, car, train, bus stop, train station, bus station, subway station, get to, how far, minute, kilometer, mile, transportation, calendar

四、教学难点

合理安排行程,并选用恰当的交通工具。

六、教学过程

1. 问题导入,引发学生的思考:

教师可向学生展示一些交通工具的图片,并提出以下类似问题:你认识这些交通工具吗?你知道它们的英文名字吗?你每天是怎么来上学的呢?通过图片和问题引发学生的思考,呈现新知。

2. 完成任务,合作学习:

教师可以给学生布置以下任务,让学生在完成任务的过程中掌握所学的知识。任务一:Yes / No transportation quiz!

学生分组活动或全班共同活动。一个学生表演一些交通工具的特征,其他同学来提问,猜出是何种交通工具,表演的学生用yes / no回答。

任务二:Around the world!

让学生说出自己最想去的地方,列出班级Top Ten旅行梦想。有学生讨论到达目的地应该选择的交通工具,在当地旅行时最理想的交通工具是什么,为什么。任务三:Whose home is the nearest to our school? Whose is the farthest? 学生以小组为单位展开活动,互相询问彼此上学时所采用的交通工具、所用的时间及所走的路程,然后比较哪些同学的家离学校近,哪些离学校比较远。Who

3. 拓展学习:

在我们所生活的社区或城市中,总是有这样或那样的交通问题或隐患。让学生通过网络、相关资料或自己进行调查了解本地的交通状况。学生思考是否有好的方法可以解决这些问题。

七、评价方法

可从以下三个方面来考查学生的学习情况,并将学生学习的评价融入到教学过程中。

①课堂参与情况:积极主动,声音响亮,较流畅地用英语表达自己要说的话。

②合作学习情况:与小组成员共同努力,很好地完成学习任务。

③知识掌握情况:是否已经掌握了所学的知识,并能很好地运用。
