一、课程介绍

1.课程描述（中英文）：

社会学是从社会整体出发，综合研究社会行为、社会关系及其变化发展规律的一门应用性社会科学。它在整个社会科学领域中占有极为重要的地位，其不仅是社会科学的基础性学科，也是一门与现实生活息息相关的应用性学科。通过这门课程的学习，我们不仅可以获得科学的社会知识，加深对社会现象的新认识，而且可以掌握许多分析与研究复杂社会现象的理论和方法，从而为我们科学认识个人、社会及其相互之间的关系奠定良好的基础，引导学生树立正确的世界观、人生观、价值观。

该课程主要包括以下教学内容：第一，社会学这一学科主要研究的内容分方法，包括学科理论的发展脉络；第二，社会运行概述，包括社会运行的微观分析和社会运行的宏观分析；第三，社会问题与控制。具体涉及社会运行、社会文化、社会化、社会角色、社会互动、社会群体、社会组织、社会分层与流动、社会问题与社会控制等内容。

同时，本课程将密切结合我国的社会实际，在充分吸收社会学最新研究成果的基础上，全面、系统地介绍社会学学科的主要领域、基本范畴、主要理论和研究方法。

Sociology is an applied social science comprehensively studying social behavior,

relationships and evolving rules based on the whole society. The subject has an essential position in social sciences, being not only the fundamental course of social sciences but also an applied science closed related with people’s life. With this course, we may acquire more social knowledge, deepen our understanding to social phenomena, and master the theories and methods of analyzing and studying complex social phenomena, so as to build the foundation for us to understand individuals and the society as well as their relationship.

The contents of the course include: 1. Main contents and methods of studying sociology, with the development path of the theories. 2. Introduction to the operation of the society, including the micro-analysis and macro-analysis. 3. Social problems and control, which involve society operation, social culture, socialization, social role, social interaction, social groups, social organizations, social hierarchy and flow, social problems and social control.

Meanwhile, the course is closely attached to the social circumstances of our nation. It wholly and systematically introduces the main areas, basic category, major theories and research methods of sociology based on the newest study outcomes of sociology.

2.设计思路：

《社会学》属新闻学基础理论课程，课程大纲根据2011年本科人才培养方案进行修订或制定。课程内容密切结合我国的社会实际，在充分吸收社会学最新研究成果的基础上，全面、系统地介绍社会学学科的主要领域、基本范畴、主要理论和研究方法。

二、课程目标

通过这门课程的学习，我们不仅可以获得科学的社会知识，加深对社会现象的新认识，而且可以掌握许多分析与研究复杂社会现象的理论和方法，从而为我们科学认

识个人、社会及其相互之间的关系奠定良好的基础。

三、学习要求

社会学是一门新闻学专业的基础理论课程，又是一门实践性很强的课程，要求学生在学习过程中必须理论联系实际，注重对社会实际的观察与分析，在实践中掌握社会学的基本理论与方法，为进一步学习和研究其他相关课程打下坚实的基础。
