It’s a common belief that fish can’t remember anything for longer than seven seconds.It may seem sad to think that every moment in their lives would be like seeing the world for the first time. But don’t be so quick to feel sorry for them. A new study has found that fish have much better memories than we used to think.
In the study, researchers from Mac Ewan University in Canada trained a kind of fish called African cichlids to go to a certain area of their tank to get food. They took the fish out and then waited for 12 days before putting them back in the tank again. They found that after such a long break the fish still went to the same place where they first got food.
In fact, scientists had been thinking for a long time that African cichlids might have a good memory. But there was no clear evidence until the latest findings.
Just as a good memory can make our lives easier, it also plays an important part when a fish is trying to survive in the wild.“If fish are able to remember that a certain area contains (容纳) safe food, they will be able to go back to that area without putting their lives in danger,” lead researcher Trevor Hamilton told Live Science.

督学责任区制度实施以来，本人认真学习督学工作手册及相关要求，我镇制定详细的，结合我镇工作实际，在责任区内扎实开展督导活动。具体工作总结如下： 一、基本情况 我们责任区内有2所初中、7所小学、民办10所，公民办教职工800余人，在校学生、幼儿6000余人。 二、工作开展情况及亮点 自九月份以来，我们严格按照每月到一所学校工作一天的规定，通过听取汇报、查看现场、召开座谈会、课堂听课等方式，先后对2所初中、7所小学、民办10所幼儿园等19处学校（幼儿园）的、办学行为和教育教学工作进行了深入了解，提出了切实可行的指导意见，协助学校更好地开展工作。 1、明确分工、严格程序。为保证学校（园）各项工作的顺利实施，在全员全面督导的前提下，每个成员各有侧重，一个负责学校安全，一个负责办学行为，一个负责体育卫生，一个负责教育教学。每到一处学校（园），我们都按各自的分工，积极开展工作，并填写《西流河中心学校督学工作纪实表》，对发现问题下达整改通知书，限期进行整改。同时，我们还实行了跟踪落实制度，对下发整改通知书的单位，通过回到看等方式进行落实，直到问题得到彻底解决。 2、完善督学工作机制。根据市局关于建立督学责任区的要求，我们镇各学校（园）建立并完善了督学管理制度，对全镇的中小学校实施无缝隙覆盖。我镇将镇直4所学校对应4所村小，每个责任区由镇直学校校长，负责人具体负责日常管理，组织落实有关制度规定；督导责任人负责督促检查，帮助诊断问题，改进工作。我镇推行学校工作“五导一介”随访性督导制度。印制了督导纪实表，成立随访性督导小组，随机性的到各校（园）进行督导检查。各校设立了教育教学督查室，建立并实行了“干部督查、教师督查、学生督查”三级督查逐级负责制，即中层及中层以上干部、全体任课教师、3—9年级优秀学生参与督查管理，轮流进行。 3、狠抓学校安全工作，打造平安和谐校园。组织全镇学校（园）开展安全隐患排查整改活动，组织专人每天对周边环境、校舍、交通、消防、食堂、宿舍等进行全面排查，发现隐患立即进行整改。各学校都建立了安全隐患排查整改档案，实行隐患消号制度。通过、黑板报、宣传栏和播放影片等方式，对师生进行交通安全、饮食卫生、疾病预防和预防自然灾害等常识的教育，全面落实生命安全教育课程、心理健康课程，做到了“教师、教材、课程”三落实。定期组织学生进行乘车安全、消防疏散、防震、防食物中毒等演练和自救自护训练，使学生掌握必要的安全知识和技能，提高安全防范意识。我们深入到学校工作一线，指导学校工作，确保了师生的安全。通过采取一系列措施，进一步消除了安全隐患，营造了安全、优美、舒适的教学环境。 4、进一步规范办学行为。我们通过随机访谈、暗访、查看课程表及相关资料等方式，对学校上下学时间、课程设置、学生作业、学校收费及师德建设等方面进行了督查。同时，将中心学校电话在所有学校进行公示，随时接受教师和学生的举报。通过检查发现，各学校能够按照要求设置课程、学生招生和在校时间符合上级规定、无违规收费现象，教育教学秩序良好。各学校成立由分管业务干部，骨干教师、优秀学生及家长代表参与的“规范教育教学行为自查自纠工作小组”，专门负责本校教师教育教学过程的日常督查。聘请社会知名人士、各级人大代表、政协委员和退休教师担任“兼职督学”，教办向其发放《聘书》，阐明职

（五）向教育督导部门报告情况，并向政府有关部门提出意见。 同时自己向先进责任区的责任督学学习，和我市的责任督学一起，到江阴市人民政府督导室参观学习，学习他们责任督学先进的督导工作经验和体会，自己还在网络上学习其他地方责任督学的先进工作经验和体会，提高自己的认识水平和工作能力。自己还向学校学习，珥陵小学王火平校长以身作则的精神深深感动着我，有一次到珥陵小学督导，早上7:30 到校后，看到王火平校长带着学校师生进行卫生大扫除，亲自在认真扫地、拔草，那一幕深深地印在我的脑海中，激励着我要认真工作。又一次在珥陵小学检查食堂时，看到食堂工人烧着几大锅肉元，我就问这肉元是买的还是做的，食堂工人说刚做的，我看到肉元又大又新鲜，想到食堂工人为了师生健康辛勤的劳动深深感动着我，同时我又看到工人们在包馄饨，我又问，工人们回答是为有的班级学生活动用的，他们是自觉的无偿劳动，我被他们默默为师生服务的精神感动着，激励我要努力为学校的优质均衡发展服务，为教师的专业化发展服务，为学生的全面发展服务。自己每次督导前，认真做好准备工作，主动联系另一责任督学，落实好督导时间、地点，主要工作方式，督导中尽量多做些工作。 二、调查、交流，促进学校教育教学工作 自己本着为学校的优质均衡发展服务，为教师的专业化发展服务，为学生的全面发展服务。在督导中对以下主要事项实施经常性督导：
