Cue card
Describe a person you know who dresses well/ a person who is fashionable.
You should say:
Who this person is;
What kinds of clothes this person likes to wear;
How you know this person;
And explain why you think this person dresses well.
Example:
The person who I think dresses in a fashion style is my best friend, Alice. We’ve been knowing each other for more than 20 years since we first met in the kindergarten. In daily life, her favorite choice is casual suit like jeans, which seems to be more convenient and comfortable for outdoor activities. Well, almost all the jeans she wears are either with holes or patches everywhere. The unique style or the preference to the jeans forms certain fashionable elements, I believe.
To her, dressing fashionably doesn’t only mean the enthusiasm to leisure suit, but also her particular taste to a diversity of clothes. For instance, on out friend’s birthday party last year, she attended in a long black dress and high heels with crystals on them, beautiful and eye catching. After that, however, we went outdoor, she changed into a pink T-shire with popular a characteristic and a sky blue trousers with holes on knees and thighs. She turned to be a hippy from an elegant lady within a second, which shocked me but I really appreciate that because whatever style she wears can always present her personality successfully and properly in a certain occasion.
That’s why she is the person who I consider dresses well.

What kinds of clothes are proper for work?
That depends. Formal suit should be the best choice in the office which shows the profession and graveness for the job and the company. While that is not suitable for the manual labor who works outdoors. Comparatively, comfortable leisure clothes may be better.
●Would you like to wear uniforms for work?
Well, to be honest, I don’t like that for it’s not comfortable and its dull color. But it’s a good manner to wear uniforms because the professional image is usually improved in this way.
●Is it easy to buy cheap clothes in China?
I think so. In China, there are many places for customers for shopping such as shopping mall, supermarket and flea market. One of the most significant differences among them is the distinct prices of the commodities. Well, flea market must be the paradise for cheap clothes and it is quite easy to find, especially at summer nights, flea market shows in many squares in the downtown equipped with various kinds of articles. Absolutely, a great number of citizens often get around and purchase something interesting.
●Do young Chinese shop on the internet?
Certainly, online shopping has become a popular means in recent years among Chinese young people. Being affected by the popularity of the internet, shopping online provides more convenience to modern people. It saves a lot of time by purchasing indoor and door to door delivery service. What’s more, it seems to be easier for the consumers to view or buy anything they are fond of without wandering around different shops. Additionally, most commodities online are at a lower price than those in the physical stores.
That’s why I think the youth in China prefer shopping online.
●Do you like to go shopping on your own or with your friends?
Actually, I fancy shopping with my intimate friends because that’s a good chance for us to have a long talk and exchange our opinions. Besides, we are all addicted into fashionable clothing, so it’s really joyful when we go shopping together.
●Should the parents buy their children expensive clothes?
In my opinion, it’s not a good idea to buy the kids costly clothes for the reason that they grow up rapidly. Indeed, always consuming pricy wearings is a waste of money. Traditionally, however, in China, most parents will be always buying their children what they think the best, losing sight of the price.

Hearing everything the teacher agreed to arrange an exam for me next day in his office room. My friendship with George grew up after that event and albeit our age differences we found that we had many common interests and habits. We started spending time and I visited his home many times. We worked in a retail shop for about 6 months and that helped us become more intimate.

We had this subject in each year of our high school and each year a new teacher used to taught us the subject. Even we had to read physics in college as Science was my major. I remember Mr. Alex, Burter, John, David and Mrs. Jeniffer took Physics in different years. We were lucky to have good Physics teachers who could make the subject interesting and enjoyable. Our teachers used to tell us stories first and then would explain the theory, experiment or math of the text books. They would then relate the story with the study. Later they would explain us the real examples and facts. Sometimes they used to take us to the Physics labs and explain how something works. I have learned numerous things of physics from simple definition of mass to the complex explanation of Einstein's Theory of Relativity. My foundation of physics grew up and expanded with the help of those teachers. The subject itself is utterly interesting if one can have passion for it. It is one such subject that one would start loving it if s/he starts understanding the underlying concepts of it. Physics is all around us and the lesson I learned from my School had helped me greatly throughout my higher academic years. Tips for answering this cue card topic: You should pick a real academic subject like Math, English, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, and Biology to answer this cue card. Then quickly take some notes including the following: 1. In which class was it taught? 2. Do not pick a subject taught in your college or university level as the cue card is asking you to talk about a subject taught in your school. 3. Try to remember a teacher's name. You can mention multiple teachers' name as the same subject in school is taught by different teachers in different classes. 4. Give a short detail what the subject.
