中国人民大学法学院复试英语分析
2013年人大法学考研英语复试笔试和面试再次进行了调整。笔试由原来的4篇传统阅读加一篇7选5，改为6篇传统阅读，时间为1小时，但难度同往年持平，与六级相当。对于英语面试，首先是英语面试由法学院老师负责；其次面试形式改为3人一小组，抽取一篇英文文章后，每人朗诵其中指定的一段后阅读所抽取的整篇英文文章，阅读完后再分别对所阅读的文章进行总结归纳，发表自己的看法；最后老师提出几个与所抽取阅读的文章相关的几个问题让大家进行讨论，3人围绕老师的提问，根据所阅读的文章进行讨论。
㈠语笔试详情
英语笔试题为六篇传统阅读理解，总分50分，时间为一个小时。英语笔试比考研英语略简单一点，时间非常紧张，务必注意答题时间的分配和考前的强化训练。具体来讲，2013年的人大法学考研英语笔试前两篇是每题1分，难度大概为四级水平；后四篇是每题2分，难度与六级和考研英语水平相当。其中，有一道为往年考研真题，有两道是2012年12月份的六级真题。笔试阅读的文章主题有：positive thinking；银行坏账；飞机黑匣子；美国赤字经济；关于英国阶级的问题（开头引用了乔治奥威儿的名言）。
㈡语面试详情
英语面试改为由法学院老师负责，试题话题与法学相关性加大。且形式改为每3人一组组成一个复试小组，然后抽取一篇英文文章（与法学或社会热点相关），每人朗诵其中指定的一段后阅读所抽取的整篇英文文章，阅读完后再分别对所阅读的文章进行总结归纳，发表自己的看法；最后老师提出几个与所抽取阅读的文章相关的几个问题让大家进行讨论，3人围绕老师的提问，根据所阅读的文章进行讨论。讨论结束后，有个时候老师也会问些与所阅读的文章无关的个人问题，比如什么地方人？哪个学校的？为什么考这个专业啊？等。整个过程，老师观察、旁听直至最后提问，老师相对被动，主要是侧重于倾听，由于英语面试改为由法学院组织，且老师是法学院的老师，因此抽取的阅读文章主要是些法律问题，或是社会热点问题，需要考生从法学的角度去回答和探讨，而且老师对考生的提问相比由外院老师负责专业性也加强了。总之，2013年的人大法学考研英语面试调整为2010年的由法学院老师自己负责考生的英语面试的复试模式，这意味着对考生的法律英语水平要求提高了，而对纯英语水平要求势必是降低了。
