雅思口语Part2又称为话题卡描述，对于很对考生来说是雅思口语三个部分中最难的一个。很多考生或者备考的同学是这么说的：Part1和Part3作为一问一答的形式，会感觉比较自然。但是到了话题卡描述，那就难了，一个人说英语总是不知道如何继续下去。对于Part2，很多考生是这样说的：老师，只要你告诉我可以讲什么，那我就能很流利的讲下去。问题是我自己实在不知道要讲些什么。

确实如此，雅思口语Part2的难度有一部分是在于描述，而有更大的一部分是在于很多考生有着一口流利的英语，但是不知道说什么。因此，选择一个能让自己自然拓展的话题，在口语话题卡描述中是至关重要的，这决定了大家的流利度以及手势、眼神等各种肢体语言的表达，当然也直接影响到了考官的视觉和听觉感受。本文中，朗阁海外考试研究中心的专家将主要给大家介绍三种常见的拓展抽象话题的思路，希望对考生们构思同类话题有一定的启发作用。

1. 以个人经历（专业、爱好）发展话题

常见话题：Describe a person who has an interesting job.

解析：典型的人物类抽象话题，描述一个有着有趣工作的人。描述一个人物，对很多考生来说不是难题。但是一个有趣的工作，这个就比较困难了。什么才是有趣？很多学生的第一想法就是能够让人捧腹大笑的工作，或者说是大家公认的有趣的工作，像美食家这样的工作，大家都会觉得这是一个很好的话题。但是真正说起来却很生硬，因为大家很少接触类似的工作和从事这些工作的人，必须每个句子都进行编造，这样就有很大的难度了，流利度也受到了一定的限制。

那如何才能够较快速地构思观点，进行流利的表达呢？大家不妨试着从自己的个人专业或者个人爱好出发想问题。

案例1：某学员的专业为Industrial Design, 一直向往能够设计一些高端的跑车，正好自己的导师是法拉利的设计师之一，在之前的课上一直提到自己特别羡慕自己的导师。

案例2：某学员的爱好为看电影，她特别喜欢看电影，也听说过这样的一个职业叫做film reviewer, 他们的工作职责是每天看电影，把电影的情节记录下来，并且写下观影感受。

这两个不就是很好的话题切入点吗？有趣并不需要是公认的有趣，只要是大家个人感兴趣的那就是有趣的工作。像这样的话题我们完全可以通过寻找和自己的专业或者爱好相关的有趣的工作或者人物进行拓展，这样就能够很好地发展成一个考生熟悉的非常流利的话题了。

2. 大事化小--把大话题具体成一个小事件

常见话题：Describe a useful advice you have received.

解析：描述他人提供的有用的建议或者意见。很多同学的第一想法就是老师提出的一些建议，如做题要仔细并且认真校对，老师在我选专业或者选学校方面提出了宝贵的意见或者在我的就业方面提出了宝贵的建议。这些其实都可以进行话题描述，但是话题给人的感觉都很“大”，无法具体到某个事件进行描述。此外，构思这类话题的大部分考生都会有类似的想法，因此也缺少了一定的新颖度。

在原有的大话题上进行小话题的构思，这样大家的话题不仅会很方便地表达出来，而且还会有一定的新颖度。

案例：在口语课上，有老师采用的作业方式为口语话题录制，这个方法在传统的英语课堂上几乎是没有的。老师会建议学生进行英语口语练习时，把自己说的句子都录下来，这样就可以了解自己的自然度以及发音和语法上面的错误了。

其实在大家上课的过程中，老师提出的具体方法，就可以用作这个话题的素材。这样是不是好表达很多？因此，当大家想到的是一个比较“大”的，在生活中重复出现的建议时，大家可以把话题具体成一个特殊时期的特殊事件，这样描述就方便多了。

3. 头脑风暴法

常见话题：Describe a recent event that makes you happy.

解析：典型的事件类话题，描述一件近期使你感到快乐的事情。

案例：马上就要放假了，某同学遇到这样的一个话题，就自然而然的想到回家这件快乐的事情。于是她如是说：The happy event I want to talk about is that I got the flight ticket last weekend. And I can go back to home the day after tomorrow. 于是就停下来了，感觉再也没有什么能说的了。

但是雅思口语的要求是要考生对话题进行1-2分钟的描述，这么快就把事件描述完了，肯定时间不能达标。

其实，大家不妨试试头脑风暴法，把想到的事件的各个方面进一步具体扩充。例如说到机票，我们可以想到机票的购买方式：提前预定。为什么回家会很高兴？事实是：家里离学校特别远，家在珠海，学校在无锡，每次乘飞机回家都要好久，并且由于机票价格的原因，很少回家，一个学年基本就回去一次，特别想念家人和家乡的美食。除此之外，由于机票是提前很久买的，因此机票折扣很大，想着很开心。

这样把每个基本的信息通过头脑风暴的方法具体起来，会不会很好地把这么抽象的话题展开为一次具体的描述呢？我相信现在难度应该不大了。

通过对这三类常见抽象话题的思路分析，希望大家在今后的备考或考试中，遇到很抽象很难构思的话题时，一定不要惊慌。试着从自身出发去想话题，并且尽量把话题具体到某一个特定时间的特定事件，当没有观点具体下去的时候，大家可以对观点进行信息扩充，以此让考官能够更享受考生流利的谈话。
