英语中字母组合oo的发音规则

Ⅰ . 重读音节词尾的字母组合 oo 发音素 [u:] 的音。如 :too( 太 ;

也 ),zoo( 动物园 ),room( 房间 ) 等 ;

II. 在辅音字母 f, l, m, n, s 前的字母组合 oo 也发音素 [u:] 的音。

如 :roof( 屋顶 ),school( 学校 ),soon( 不久 ),goose( 鹅 ) 等 . 有个特例要注意 , wool[u]( 羊毛 );

III. 在字母 t 前的字母组合 oo 发音素 [u:] 的音。如 :boot( 靴

子 ),tooth( 牙齿 ), 特例词 :foot[u]( 脚 );

IV. 字母组合 oo 在字母 d 和 k 前发音素 [u] 的音。

good( 好 ),book( 书 ),look( 看 ), 特例词 :food[u:]( 食物 );

V. 在复合词的非重读音节中的字母组合 oo 发音素 [u] 的音。

如 :bedroom( 卧室 ),classroom( 教室 ) 等 ;

VI. 在字母 l 和 d 之间的字母组合 oo 发音素 [] 的音。

oo 读长还是短 , 记住口诀就简单。

d, k 之前读短 [u],food 一词是特例[u:];

t 前读长 [u:],foot 需要特殊记[u] ;

复合词中要读短 , 其余多数读长 [u:];

l, s, d 间读作 [], 例外还要特殊记。

字母组合ou和ow的发音规律

字母组合ou, ow通常读长音/аu /。ou不出现在词尾，ow常常出现在词尾。例如：flower, house, count, down。字母组合ou, ow 还可读/?u/。例如：know, low, though等。在部分单词中，他们还可读/u:/ 和

/Λ/,例如：group, soup, you, young, enough, country等。

辅音字符th 有清与浊两种读音：

1 当位于词首时，可以从词性上判别其应有的读音。请看：

第一类：在以下4种词类th 读清音，即国际音标的θ：

a. Noun 名词：thing, theatre, thumb大拇指, thunder雷,

thermos热水瓶, Thursday, theory, theme, throat喉咙, thread线

b. Verb 动词：think, thank, throw, thrive, thicken,

c.Numeral 数词：three, thirteen, thirty, third, thousand

d.Adjective 形容词：thin, thick, thirsty, thoughtful,

thorough彻底的

第二类：在以下两种词类th 读浊音：

a. Pronoun 代词：they, them, their, theirs, this, these,

that, those, there, thy[旧时用法]你的

b. al terms 功能词：the, than, then, though, thus,

therefore

2 当位于词尾（或音节之尾）时，其读音多数是清音，如：bath, breath, both, cloth, tooth, health, wealth, arithmetic 等。只有在少数单词中，如：with, smooth 中读浊音。

3 当位于两个元音之间时，其读音多数是浊音。如：other, mother, brother, another, father, weather, feather, leather, further, breathe.

但是，也有读清音的。如在单词method, nothing, anything, sympathy, sympathetic, mathematics, healthy, wealthy, Luther, Marathon(马拉松)等。

ea组合的发音规律

规律是一般情况，只是便于记忆，不包括特殊情况。

ea通常有开音节和闭音节发音。我们把ea看成一个整体。

开音节结构：绝对开音节：在单词末尾，后面没有其他音节挡着

相对开音节：_+辅音字母+不发音的e结尾闭音节结构：_+辅音字母结尾

ea在开音节中发[i:]，例：绝对开音节：flea sea tea pea 相对开音节：please peace leave breathe
