EXW(insertnamedplaceofdelivery)Incoterms2010

GUIDANCENOTE Thisrulemaybeusedirrespectiveofthemodeoftransportselectedandmayalsobeusedwher emorethanonemodeoftransportisemployed.

Itissuitablefordomestictrade,whileFCAisusuallymoreappropriateforinternational trade.

“ExWorks”meansthatthesellerdeliverswhenitplacesthegoodsatthedisposalofthebu yerattheseller’spremisesoratanothernamedplace(i.e.,works,factory,warehouse,e tc.).Thesellerdoesnotneedtoloadthegoodsonanycollectingvehicle,nordoesitneedto clearthegoodsforexport,wheresuchclearanceisapplicable. Thepartiesarewelladvisedtospecifyasclearlyaspossiblethepointwithinthenamedpla ceofdelivery,asthecostsandriskstothatpointarefortheaccountoftheseller.Thebuye rbearsallcostsandrisksinvolvedintakingthegoodsfromtheagreedpoint,ifany,atthen amedplaceofdelivery.

EXWrepresentstheminimumobligationfortheseller.Theruleshouldbeusedwithcareas: a)Thesellerhasnoobligationtothebuyertoloadthegoods,eventhoughinpracticethesel lermaybeinabetterpositiontodoso.Ifthesellerdoesloadthegoods,itdoessoatthebuye r’sriskandexpense.Incaseswherethesellerisinabetterpositiontoloadthegoods,FCA ,whichobligesthesellertodosoatitsownriskandexpense,isusuallymoreappropriate.

b)AbuyerwhobuysfromaselleronanEXWbasisforexportneedstobeawarethatthesellerhas anobligationtoprovideonlysuchassistanceasthebuyermayrequiretoeffectthatexport :thesellerisnotboundtoorganizetheexportclearance.Buyersarethereforewelladvise dnottouseEXWiftheycannotdirectlyorindirectlyobtainexportclearance.

c)Thebuyerhaslimitedobligationstoprovidetotheselleranyinformationregardingthe exportofthegoods.However,thesellermayneedthisinformationfor,e.g.,taxationorre portingpurposes.

ATHESELLER’OBLIGATIONS

A1Generalobligationsoftheseller Thesellermustprovidethegoodsandthecommercialinvoiceinconformitywiththecontrac tofsaleandanyotherevidenceofconformitythatmayberequiredbythecontract.Anydocum entreferredtoinA1-A10maybeanequivalentelectronicrecordorprocedureifagreedbetw eenthepartiesorcustomary.

A2Licences,authorizations,securityclearancesandotherformalitiesWhereapplicabl e,thesellermustprovidethebuyer,atthebuyer’srequest,riskandexpense,assistance inobtaininganyexportlicence,orotherofficialauthorizationnecessaryfortheexport ofthegoods.

Whereapplicable,thesel lermustprovide,atthebuyer’srequest,riskandexpense,anyi nformationinthepossessionofthesellerthatisrequiredforthesecurityclearanceofth egoods.

A3Contractsofcarriageandinsurance

a)Contractofcarriage Thesellerhasnoobligationtothebuyertomakeacontractofcarriage.

b)Contractofinsurance Thesellerhasnoobligationtothebuyertomakeacontractofinsurance.However,theselle rmustprovidethebuyer,atthebuyer’srequest,riskandexpense(ifany),withinformati onthatthebuyerneedsforobtaininginsurance.

A4Delivery Thesellermustdeliverthegoodsbyplacingthematthedisposalofthebuyerattheagreedpo int,ifany,atthenamedplaceofdelivery,notloadedonanycollectingvehicle.Ifnospeci ficpointhasbeenagreedwithinthenamedplaceofdelivery,andifthereareseveralpoints available,thesellermayselectthepointthatbestsuitsitspurpose.Thesellermustdeli verthegoodsontheagreeddateorwithintheagreedperiod.

BTHEBUYER’OBLIGATIONS

B1Generalobligationsofthebuyer Thebuyermustpaythepriceofthegoodsasprovidedinthecontractofsale. AnydocumentreferredtoinB1-B10maybeanequivalentelectronicrecordorprocedureifag reedbetweenthepartiesorcustomary.

B2Licences,authorizations,securityclearancesandotherformalities Whereapplicable,itisuptothebuyertoobtain,atitsownriskandexpense,anyexportandi mportlicenceorotherofficialauthorizationandcarryoutallcustomsformalitiesforth eexportofthegoods.

B3Contractsofcarriageandinsurance

B4Takingdelivery

ThebuyermusttakedeliveryofthegoodswhenA4andA7havebeencompliedwith.

A5Transferofrisks Thesellerbearsallrisksoflossofordamagetothegoodsuntiltheyhavebeendeliveredina ccordancewithA4withtheexceptionoflossordamageinthecircumstancesdescribedin B5.

A6Allocationofcosts Thesellermustpayallcostsrelatingtothegoodsuntiltheyhavebeendeliveredinaccorda ncewithA4,otherthanthosepayablebythebuyerasenvisagedinB6.

A7Noticestothebuyer Thesellermustgivethebuyeranynoticeneededtoenablethebuyertotakedeliveryofthego ods.

A8Deliverydocument

Thesellerhasnoobligationtothebuyer.

B5Transferofrisks Thebuyerbearsallrisksoflossofordamagetothegoodsfromthetimetheyhavebeendeliver edasenvisagedinA4.IfthebuyerfailstogivenoticeinaccordancewithB7,thenthe buyerbearsallrisksoflossofordamagetothegoodsfromtheagreeddateortheexpirydateo ftheagreedperiodfordelivery,providedthatthegoodshavebeenclearlyidentifiedasth e

contractgoods.

B6Allocationofcosts

Thebuyermust:

a)payallcostsrelatingtothegoodsfromthetimetheyhavebeendeliveredasenvisagedinA 4;

b)payanyadditionalcostsincurredbyfailingeithertotakedeliveryofthegoodswhenthe yhavebeenplacedatitsdisposalortogiveappropriatenoticeinaccordancewithB7,provi dedthatthegoodshavebeenclearlyidentifiedasthecontractgoods;

c)pay,whereapplicable,allduties,taxesandothercharges,aswellasthecostsofcarryi ngoutcustomsformalitiespayableuponexport;and

d)reimburseallcostsandchargesincurredbythesellerinprovidingassistanceasenvisa gedinA2.

B7Noticestotheseller

Thebuyermust,wheneveritisentitledtodeterminethetimewithinanagreedperiodand/or thepointoftakingdeliverywithinthenamedplace,givethesellersufficientnoticether eof.

B8Proofofdelivery Thebuyermustprovidethesellerwithappropriateevidenceofhavingtakendelivery.

A9Checking–packaging–marking Thesellermustpaythecostsofthosecheckingoperations(suchascheckingquality,measu ring,weighing,andcounting)thatarenecessaryforthepurposeofdeliveringthegoodsin accordancewithA4.

Thesellermust,atitsownexpense,packagethegoods,unlessitisusualfortheparticular tradetotransportthetypeofgoodssoldunpackaged.Thesellermaypackagethegoodsinthe mannerappropriatefortheirtransport,unlessthebuyerhasnotifiedthesellerofspecif icpackagingrequirementsbeforethecontractofsaleisconcluded.Packagingistobemark edappropriately.

B9Inspectionofgoods

Thebuyermustpaythecostsofanymandatorypre-shipmentinspection,includinginspecti onmandatedbytheauthoritiesofthecountryofexport.

GUIDANCENOTE Thisrulemaybeusedirrespectiveofthemodeoftransportselectedandmayalsobeusedwher emorethanonemodeoftransportisemployed.“FreeCarrier”mean sthatthesellerdelive rsthegoodstothecarrieroranotherpersonnominatedbythebuyerattheseller’spremise

soranothernamedplace.Thepartiesarewelladvisedtospecifyasclearlyaspossiblethep ointwithinthenamedplaceofdelivery,astheriskpassestothebuyeratthatpoint.Ifthep arties intendtodeliverthegoodsattheseller’spremises,theyshouldidentifytheaddr essofthosepremisesasthenamedplaceofdelivery.If,ontheotherhand,thepartiesinten dthegoodstobedeliveredatanotherplace,theymustidentifyadifferentspecificplaceo fdelivery.

FCArequiresthesellertoclearthegoodsforexport,whereapplicable.However,theselle rhasnoobligationtoclearthegoodsforimport,payanyimportdutyorcarryoutanyimportc ustomsformalities.

ATHESELLER’OBLIGATIONS

A1Generalobligationsoftheseller Thesellermustprovidethegoodsandthecommercialinvoiceinconformitywiththecontrac tofsaleandanyotherevidenceofconformitythatmayberequiredbythecontract. AnydocumentreferredtoinA1-A10maybeanequivalentelectronicrecordorprocedureifag reedbetweenthepartiesorcustomary.

A2Licences,authorizations,securityclearancesandotherformalities Whereapplicable,thesellermustobtain,atitsownriskandexpense,anyexportlicenceor otherofficialauthorizationandcarryoutallcustomsformalitiesnecessaryfortheexpo rtofthe

goods.

A3Contractsofcarriageandinsurance

a)Contractofcarriage Thesellerhasnoobligationtothebuyertomakeacontractofcarriage.However,ifrequest edbythebuyerorifitiscommercialpracticeandthebuyerdoesnotgiveaninstructiontoth e

contraryinduetime,thesellermaycontractforcarriageonusualtermsatthebuyer’sris kandexpense.Ineithercase,thesellermaydeclinetomakethecontractofcarriageand,if itdoes,shallpromptlynotifythebuyer.

b)Contractofinsurance Thesellerhasnoobligationtothebuyertomakeacontractofinsurance.However,theselle rmustprovidethebuyer,atthebuyer’srequest,risk,andexpense(ifany),with informat ionthat

thebuyerneedsforobtaininginsurance.

A4Delivery Thesellermustdeliverthegoodstothecarrieroranotherpersonnominatedbythebuyeratt heagreedpoint,ifany,atthenamedplaceontheagreeddateorwithintheagreedperiod. Deliveryiscompleted:

a)Ifthenamedplaceistheseller’spremises,whenthegoodshavebeenloadedonthemeanso ftransportprovidedbythebuyer.

b)Inanyothercase,whenthegoodsareplacedatthedisposalofthecarrieroranotherperso nnominatedbythebuyerontheseller’smeansoftransportreadyforunloading. IfnospecificpointhasbeennotifiedbythebuyerunderB7d)withinthenamedplaceofdeliv ery,andifthereareseveralpointsavailable,thesellermayselectthepointthatbestsui tsitspurpose.

BTHEBUYER’OBLIGATIONS

B1Generalobligationsofthebuyer

B4Takingdelivery ThebuyermusttakedeliveryofthegoodswhentheyhavebeendeliveredasenvisagedinA4. Unlessthebuyernotifiesthesellerotherwise,thesellermaydeliverthegoodsforcarria geinsuchamannerasthequantityand/ornatureofthegoodsmayrequire.

A5Transferofrisks Thesellerbearsallrisksoflossofordamagetothegoodsuntiltheyhavebeendeliveredina ccordancewithA4,withtheexceptionoflossordamageinthecircumstancesdescribedin B5.

A6Allocationofcosts

Thesellermustpay

a)allcostsrelatingtothegoodsuntiltheyhavebeendeliveredinaccordancewithA4,othe rthanthosepayablebythebuyerasenvisagedinB6;and

b)whereapplicable,thecostsofcustomsformalitiesnecessaryforexport,aswellasalld uties,taxes,andotherchargespayableuponexport.

B5Transferofrisks Thebuyerbearsallrisksoflossofordamagetothegoodsfromthetimetheyhavebeendeliver edasenvisagedinA4.

a)thebuyerfailsinaccordancewithB7tonotifythenominationofacarrieroranotherpers onasenvisagedinA4ortogivenotice;or

b)thecarrierorpersonnominatedbythebuyerasenvisagedinA4failstotakethegoodsinto itscharge,then,thebuyerbearsallrisksoflossofordamagetothegoods:

(i)fromtheagreeddate,orintheabsenceofanagreeddate,

(ii)fromthedatenotifiedbythesellerunderA7withintheagreedperiod;or,ifnosuchdat ehasbeennotified,

(iii)fromtheexpirydateofanyagreedperiodfordelivery,providedthatthegoodshavebe enclearlyidentifiedasthecontractgoods.

B6Allocationofcosts

Thebuyermustpay

a)allcostsrelatingtothegoodsfromthetimetheyhavebeendeliveredasenvisagedinA4,e xcept,whereapplicable,thecostsofcustomsformalitiesnecessaryforexport,aswellas allduties,taxes,andotherchargespayableuponexportasreferredtoinA6b);

b)anyadditionalcostsincurred,eitherbecause:

(i)thebuyerfailstonominateacarrieroranotherpersonasenvisagedinA4,or

(ii)thecarrierorpersonnominatedbythebuyerasenvisagedinA4failstotakethegoodsin toitscharge,or

(iii)thebuyerhasfailedtogiveappropriatenoticeinaccordancewithB7,providedthatt hegoodshavebeenclearlyidentifiedasthecontractgoods;and

c)whereapplicable,allduties,taxesandotherchargesaswellasthecostsofcarryingout customsformalitiespayableuponimportofthegoodsandthecostsfortheirtransportthro ughanycountry.

A7Noticestothebuyer

Thesellermust,atthebuyer’sriskandexpense,givethebuyersufficientnoticeeithert hatthegoodshavebeendeliveredinaccordancewithA4orthatthecarrieroranotherperson nominatedbythebuyerhasfailedtotakethegoodswithinthetimeagreed.

A8Deliverydocument

Thesellermustprovid ethebuyer,attheseller’sexpense,withtheusualproofthatthego odshavebeendeliveredinaccordancewithA4. Thesellermustprovideassistancetothebuyer,atthebuyer’srequest,riskandexpense, inobtainingatransportdocument.

A9Checking–packaging–marking Thesellermustpaythecostsofthosecheckingoperations(suchascheckingquality,measu ring,weighing,counting)thatarenecessaryforthepurposeofdeliveringthegoodsinacc ordance

withA4,aswellasthecostsofanypre-shipmentinspectionmandatedbytheauthorityofthe countryofexport.

A10AssistancewithinformationandrelatedcostsThesellermust,whereapplicable,inat imelymanner,providetoorrenderassistanceinobtainingforthebuyer,atthebuyer’sre quest,

riskandexpense,anydocumentsandinformation,includingsecurity-relatedinformatio n,thatthebuyerneedsfortheimportofthegoodsand/orfortheirtransporttothefinaldes tination.

B7Noticestotheseller

Thebuyermustnotifythesellerof

a)thenameofthecarrieroranotherpersonnominatedasenvisagedinA4withinsufficientt imeastoenablethesellertodeliverthegoodsinaccordancewiththatarticle;

b)wherenecessary,theselectedtimewithintheperiodagreedfordeliverywhenthecarrie rorpersonnominatedwilltakethegoods;

c)themodeoftransporttobeusedbythepersonnominated;and

d)thepointoftakingdeliverywithinthenamedplace.

B8Proofofdelivery ThebuyermustaccepttheproofofdeliveryprovidedasenvisagedinA8.

B9Inspectionofgoods

Thebuyermustpaythecostsofanymandatorypre-shipmentinspection,exceptwhensuchins pectionismandatedbytheauthoritiesofthecountryofexport.

B10Assistancewithinformationandrelatedcosts

Thebuyermust,inatimelymanner,advisethesellerofanysecurityinformationrequireme ntssothatthesellermaycomplywithA10. Thebuyermustreimbursethesellerforallcostsandchargesincurredbythesellerinprovi dingorrenderingassistanceinobtainingdocumentsandinformationasenvisagedinA10. Thesellermustreimbursethebuyerforallcostsandchargesincurredbythebuyerinprovid ingorrenderingassistanceinobtainingdocumentsandinformationasenvisagedinB10. Thebuyermust,whereapplicable,inatimelymanner,providetoorrenderassistanceinobt ainingfortheseller,attheseller’srequest,riskandexpense,anydocumentsandinform ation,

includingsecurity-relatedinformation,thatthesellerneedsforthetransportandexpo rtofthegoodsandfortheirtransportthroughanycountry.

CARRIAGEPAIDTO

CPT(insertnamedplaceofdestination)Incoterms2010

GUIDANCENOTE Thisrulemaybeusedirrespectiveofthemodeoftransportselectedandmayalsobeusedwher emorethanonemodeoftransportisemployed.

“CarriagePaidTo”meansthatthesellerdeliversth egoodstothecarrieroranotherpers onnominatedbytheselleratanagreedplace(ifanysuchplaceisagreedbetweentheparties )andthatthesellermustcontractforandpaythecostsofcarriagenecessarytobringthego odstothenamedplaceofdestination.

WhenCPT,CIP,CFRorCIFareused,thesellerfulfilsitsobligationtodeliverwhenithands thegoodsovertothecarrierandnotwhenthegoodsreachtheplaceofdestination. Thisrulehastwocriticalpoints,becauseriskpassesandcostsaretransferredatdiffere ntplaces.Thepartiesarewelladvisedtoidentifyaspreciselyaspossibleinthecontract boththeplaceofdelivery,wheretheriskpassestothebuyer,andthenamedplaceofdestina tiontowhichthe

sellermustcontractforthecarriage.Ifseveralcarriersareusedforthecarriagetothea greeddestinationandthepartiesdonotagreeonaspecificpointofdelivery,thedefaultp ositionisthatriskpasseswhenthegoodshavebeendeliveredtothefirstcarrieratapoint entirelyoftheseller’schoosingandoverwhichthe CPTrequiresthesellertoclearthegoodsforexport,whereapplicable.However,theselle rhasnoobligationtoclearthegoodsforimport,payanyimportdutyorcarryoutanyimportc ustomsformalities.

ATHESELLER’OBLIGATIONS

A2Licences,authorizations,securityclearancesandotherformalitiesWhereapplicabl e,thesellermustobtain,atitsownriskandexpense,anyexportlicenceorotherofficiala uthorizationandcarryoutallcustomsformalitiesnecessaryfortheexportofthegoods,a ndfortheirtransportthroughanycountrypriortodelivery.

A3Contractsofcarriageandinsurance

a)Contractofcarriage Thesellermustcontractorprocureacontractforthecarriageofthegoodsfromtheagreedp ointofdelivery,ifany,attheplaceofdeliverytothenamedplaceofdestinationor,ifagr eed,anypointatthatplace.Thecontractofcarriagemustbemadeonusualtermsattheselle r’sexpenseandprovideforcarriagebytheusualrouteandinacustomarymanner.Ifaspeci ficpointisnotagreedorisnotdeterminedbypractice,thesellermayselectthepointofde liveryandthepointatthenamedplaceofdestinationthatbestsuititspurpose.

b)Contractofinsurance Thesellerhasnoobligationtothebuyertomakeacontractofinsurance.However,theselle rmustprovidethebuyer,atthebuyer’srequest,risk,andexpense(ifany),withinformat ionthat

thebuyerneedsforobtaininginsurance.

A4Delivery Thesellermustdeliverthegoodsbyhandingthemovertothecarriercontractedinaccordan cewithA3ontheagreeddateorwithintheagreedperiod.

A5Transferofrisks Thesellerbearsallrisksoflossofordamagetothegoodsuntiltheyhavebeendeliveredina ccordancewithA4,withtheexceptionoflossordamageinthecircumstancesdescribedinB5 .

A6AllocationofcostsThesellermustpay

a)allcostsrelatingtothegoodsuntiltheyhavebeendeliveredinaccordancewithA4,othe rthanthosepayablebythebuyerasenvisagedinB6;

b)thefreightandallothercostsresultingfromA3

a),includingthecostsofloadingthegoodsandanychargesforunloadingattheplaceofdes tinationthatwe refortheseller’saccountunder

thecontractofcarriage;and

c)whereapplicable,thecostsofcustomsformalitiesnecessaryforexport,aswellasalld uties,taxesandotherchargespayableuponexport,andthecostsfortheirtransportthrou ghanycountrythatwerefortheseller’saccountundert hecontractofcarriage.

A7Noticestothebuyer ThesellermustnotifythebuyerthatthegoodshavebeendeliveredinaccordancewithA4. Thesellermustgivethebuyeranynoticeneededinordertoallowthebuyertotakemeasurest hatarenormallynecessarytoenablethebuyertotakethegoods.

B5Transferofrisks Thebuyerbearsallrisksoflossofordamagetothegoodsfromthetimetheyhavebeendeliver edasenvisagedinA4.IfthebuyerfailstogivenoticeinaccordancewithB7,itmust bearallrisksoflossofordamagetothegoodsfromtheagreeddateortheexpirydateoftheag reedperiodfordelivery,providedthatthegoodshavebeenclearlyidentifiedasthecontr actgoods.

B6Allocationofcosts

Thebuyermust,subjecttotheprovisionsofA3 a),pay

b)allcostsandchargesrelatingtothegoodswhileintransituntiltheirarrivalattheagr eedplaceofdestination,unlesssuchcostsandchargeswerefortheseller’saccoun tunde rthecontractof

carriage;

c)unloadingcosts,unlesssuchcostswerefortheseller’saccountunderthecontractofc arriage;

d)anyadditionalcostsincurredifthebuyerfailstogivenoticeinaccordancewithB7,fro mtheagreeddateortheexpirydateoftheagreedperiodfordispatch,providedthatthegood shave

beenclearlyidentifiedasthecontractgoods;and

e)whereapplicable,allduties,taxesandothercharges,aswellasthecostsofcarryingou tcustomsformalitiespayableuponimportofthegoodsandthecostsfortheirtransportthr oughanycountry,unlessincludedwithinthecostofthecontractofcarriage.

B7Noticestotheseller

Thebuyermust,wheneveritisentitledtodeterminethetimefordispatchingthegoodsand/ orthenamedplaceofdestinationorthepointofreceivingthegoodswithinthatplace,give thesellersufficientnoticethereof.

Ifcustomaryorattheb uyer’srequest,thesellermustprovidethebuyer,attheseller’s expense,withtheusualtransportdocument[s]forthetransportcontractedinaccordance withA3. b)allcostsofunloadingnecessarytotakedeliveryofthegoodsfromthearrivingmeansoft ransportatthenamedplaceofdestination,unlesssuchcostswerefortheseller’saccoun tunder

thecontractofcarriage;

c)anyadditionalcostsincurredbythesellerifthebuyerfailstofulfillitsobligations inaccordancewithB2ortogivenoticeinaccordancewithB7,providedthatthegoodshavebe enclearlyidentifiedasthecontractgoods;and

d)whereapplicable,thecostsofcustomsformalities,aswellasallduties,taxesandothe rchargespayableuponimportofthegoods.

B7Noticestotheseller

Thebuyermust,wheneveritisentitledtodeterminethetimewithinanagreedperiodand/or thepointoftakingdeliverywithinthenamedplaceofdestination,givethesellersuffici entnoticethereof.

B8Proofofdelivery ThebuyermustacceptthedeliverydocumentprovidedasenvisagedinA8.

A9Checking–packaging–marking Thesellermustpaythecostsofthosecheckingoperations(suchascheckingquality,measu ring,weighing,counting)thatarenecessaryforthepurposeofdeliveringthegoodsinacc ordancewithA4,aswellasthecostsofanypre-shipmentinspectionmandatedbytheauthori tyofthecountryofexport.Thesellermust,atitsownexpense,packagethegoods,unlessit isusualfortheparticulartradetotransportthetypeofgoodssoldunpackaged.Theseller maypackagethegoodsinthemannerappropriatefortheirtransport,unlessthebuyerhasno tifiedthesellerofspecificpackagingrequirementsbeforethecontractofsaleisconclu ded.Packagingistobemarkedappropriately.

A10Assistancewithinformationandrelatedcosts

GUIDANCENOTE Thisrulemaybeusedirrespectiveofthemodeoftransportselectedandmayalsobeusedwher emorethanonemodeoftransportisemployed.“DeliveredDutyPaid”meansthattheseller deliversthegoodswhenthegoodsareplacedatthedisposalofthebuyer,clearedforimport onthearrivingmeansoftransportreadyforunloadingatthenamedplaceofdestination.Th esellerbearsallthecostsandrisksinvolvedinbringingthegoodstotheplaceofdestinat ionandhasanobligationtoclearthegoodsnotonlyforexportbutalsoforimport,topayany dutyforbothexportandimportandtocarryoutallcustomsformalities. ThepartiesarewelladvisednottouseDDPifthesellerisunabledirectlyorindirectlytoo btainimportclearance. Ifthepartieswishthebuyertobearallrisksandcostsofimportclearance,theDAPrulesho uldbeused.

AnyVATorothertaxespayableuponimportarefortheseller’saccount unlessexpresslyag reedotherwiseinthesalescontract.

ATHESELLER’OBLIGATIONS

A1Generalobligationsoftheseller Thesellermustprovidethegoodsandthecommercialinvoiceinconformitywiththecontrac tofsaleandanyotherevidenceofconformitythatmayberequiredbythecontract. AnydocumentreferredtoinA1-A10maybeanequivalentelectronicrecordorprocedureifag reedbetweenthepartiesorcustomary.

A2Licences,authorizations,securityclearancesandotherformalities Whereapplicable,thesellermustobtain,atitsownriskandexpense,anyexportandimport licenceandotherofficialauthorizationandcarryoutallcustomsformalitiesnecessary for

theexportofthegoods,fortheirtransportthroughanycountryandfortheirimport.

A3Contractsofcarriageandinsurance

a)Contractofcarriage Thesellermustcontractatitsownexpenseforthecarriageofthegoodstothenamedplaceof destinationortotheagreedpoint,ifany,atthenamedplaceofdestination.Ifaspecificp
