This picture presents a ridiculous scene in a typical one-child family in China. The parents are trying to persuade the little boy to cat，but the boy asks his father to act as a horse. He is riding on his father's shoulder and saying，“You run a circle and I'll have a mouthful of food.”The mother，holding a bowl of food，is running after them，ready to feed the little boy.

This picture shows that some children are terribly spoiled by their parents. Due to the one-child policy，most Chinese families have only one child. The parents try their best to satisfy every need of their child. As a result，the spoiled child becomes the“little emperor" who rules the whole family．

Children are the future of our country. If they are so lazy and so selfish，there win be no hope for our country. Parents should make every effort to prevent their children from getting into bad habits. They must be strict with their children and refuse to satisfy their unreasonable demands. Only in this way can they expect their children to be good citizens when they grow up.

One said that she was going to meet one of her net friends and the other told her that most people found their net friends disappointing in real life. It’s quite common now that many teenagers, especially those from one-child families, like to make net friends and spend lots of time chatting with their because they need someone to talk with and share their sorrows and happiness. However, is it wise for them to do so?

It’s possible for you to find some real good friends with the help of new technology but you must take care. When talking with someone unknown on the internet, you have no idea at all what kind of person he is and whether he is telling you the truth. Besides we can’t deny that some bad guys disguised themselves so well that many nice people were trapped. So, you’re taking the risk to meet your net friends before you get any idea about him.

Smoke

This is a funny picture which means a lot. In the picture，a man is smoking happily in a fac tory though he sees a sign of“No smoking" on the wall. But when h e finds that the factory is giving off large quantities of heavy smoke，he feels puzzled.“Why does the factory forbid people to smoke while it itself emits so much black smoke”.

Nowadays，many factories realize the danger of smoking to themselves and don't allow people to smoke in the factory. However，they don't pay any attention to the protection of our environment，which is seriously being polluted by the dirty smoke from their factories. We all know that clean air is important to good health. Wherever we go and whatever we do，we are always breathing in air. If there are impurities in the air，they may be absorbed into our bodies and make us ill. We need clean air.

Although there is a long way to go before we enjoy a clean and comfortable world，something must be done right away to prevent the pollution caused by factories！As long as every, one of us makes efforts，the day will come soon when people will take in only clean air.

In the picture, a white-haired old man is pushing a baby carriage, inside which are his children and grandchild. Not only does the grandson need feeding but stunningly the young couple also needs feeding by their parents, who should have relied on them instead.

There is no exaggeration here. Since the implementation of the one-child policy, more and more children tend to depend on their parents, even after they grow up. As far as I know, some young teachers in the school I am studying at would go to their parents’ for meals. I am not saying that they are not financially independent, which the picture might further indicate, but that they are, to some extent, dependent on their parents, which makes sense with the picture in some way. The problem is here to stay for mainly two reasons —one is that the policy is not tended to be loosened and the other is that the kids are watching and imitating.

Unquestionably a change is needed. It should take place in the way we educate our kids rather than in the policy. Parents should first set a good example and then let the kid do their own things. Only in this way can the whole society be better-off.
