二,所在班级情况,学生特点分析

经过二年的英语学习,五年级学生对英语有较浓的爱好,也有一定的英语基础。然而这个阶段学生的英语实际应用能力是非常有限的,这也就促使他们十分渴望能用英语解决日常生活中的实际问题,在实践中提高自己的英语水平。所以作为教师要通过直观的活动吸引学先生,激发他们的爱好,让学生在真实的情景中去学习语言、运用语言。教师要通过各种有趣的活动帮助学生将枯燥的语言变得生动而又易于记忆,让学生在感知、体验和参与中获取知识,形成能力。

二,说教材

(1),说教材内容

本课内容为PEP小学英语五年级上册Unit 5 My New Room第一课时Let’s learn &Let’s chant部分。本单元重点学习家具陈设等物品的名称,如:curtain mirror closet trash bin 等、表示位置的介词(in, on)

(2),说教学目标

1知识技能目标

(1) Learn to say six words: end table trash bin air-conditioner closet mirror curtain.

(2) Learn to say: Is this your …? In my room I have ….

(3) Understand the chant and do the actions according to the orders.

2情感文化目标

培养爱家,爱清洁的良好习惯,培养学生的团结、合作意识,渗透本国文化教育。

(3)教学重、难点分析

重点是把握Let’s learn 部分的六个四会单词,并能进行简朴问答、介绍。

难点为单词air-conditioner 的发音。

(4)教学准备

本课时我准备有:

1,课件、录音机、录音带

2,单词卡片、图片、一面镜子。

一,说教法

学习语言必须有一个轻松愉快的环境,通过合作、游戏、竞赛等方法可以使学生的兴趣得以保持。根据本课时教学内容的特征,我采取了情景教学法,同时辅以趣味游戏,以激发学生的学习热情,提高课堂效率。

二,说学法

根据小学生心理、生理特点,本堂课我主要培养他们以下两种学习方法:

1,体验参与学习法

小学生活泼好动,喜欢在活动中学习。因此,体验参与的学习方法深受孩子喜欢,也能提高学生学习英语的积极性和学习效果。

2,小组合作学习法

学生通过小组合作学习的方式,不仅能培养他们的合作精神,还能充分调动他们的求知欲,使他们始终处于积极、主动的学习状态之中。

四,说教学过程:

(1)热身、复习 TPR、Chant活动复习有关知识,为上课做好预备。

1播放四年级上册第四单元Let’s do部分的录音,师生一起边唱边做指令。(Go to the living room. Watch TV. Go to the study. Read a book. Go to the kitchen. Have a snack. Go to the bathroom. Take a shower. Go to the bedroom. Have a sleep.)

2Free talk

T: Children, I want to watch TV now, where can I watch TV?

S:In the living room.

T: I want to read a book, where can I read a book?

S:In the study.

T: I’m so tired after reading a book .Now I want to have a sleep, where can I sleep? S:Bedroom!

设计意图:通过唱唱、做做学生熟悉的童谣复习就旧知识,同时也为新知识的学习做好铺垫。(2)导入T:OK!Let’s go to my bedroom. 课件展示房间图片This is my new bedroom. Come and look at my new bedroom. What can you see in my bedroom?请学生观察图片并用句型“I can see……”回答问题。如:I can see a desk,a chair, a bed ,a window and some books.以此复习句型:I can see …. 并导入新课。【设计意图】:创设情景,自然导入新课的学习。找到话题与所授新知的契合点,让学生很自然地从一个话题向另一个话题过渡,从而开始了本节课的话题。

(3)新课呈现

Let’learn

1,T:Yes,I have ……what else do I have?老师点击课件,图片中镜子闪烁,然后出现单词mirror. 接着拿出一面镜子,示范朗读mirror,学生跟读。教师手拿着镜子分别问几名学生:“Do you have a mirror in your bedroom? ”如果学生的回答是肯定的,教师则再次重复一下“mirror”一词,说:“Oh,you have a mirror in your bedroom.”,如果学生的回答是否定的,教师可以说:“Oh,sorry. You don’t have a mirror in your bedroom. Wher e is the mirror? ”(Is the mirror in the bathroom?),学生回答。

2, 教学其它curtain,closet,end table,trash bin,air-conditioner五词,方法同mirror,通过模仿、问答等形式,学生初步掌握这五个词。

Ps: 在教学air-conditioner一词时,可以将单词分解成各个音节进行教授,例如:

air-con-di-tion-er,这样学生接受起来要简单的多。

3,听读正音。老师播放Let’s learn 部分录音,学生看课本跟读。

4. 单词操练

a.高低声练习法.(老师读升调,学生读降调。反之,老师读降调,学生读升调。)

b. 击鼓传花

游戏规则:

1) 将单词卡片装入盒子中;

2)放音乐,在学生间传递盒子,音乐停下时,手中拿着盒子的学生从盒子里摸出张单词卡片。

3)朗读卡片上的单词,再用chant的方式说出来。比如:

Curtain, curtain,I have a curtain in my bedroom.

Mirror,mirror,I have a mirror in my bedroom.

c.引导学生自创歌谣

如,学生随着音乐边做边说:

Closet,closet,open the closet!

Curtain,curtain,close the curtain!

Mirror,mirror,clean the mirror!

Trash bin,trash bin,empty the trash bin!

End table,end table,move the end table!

Air-conditioner,air-conditioner,make me cool!

【设计意图】:运用节拍编成琅琅上口的歌谣,既复习了所学的知识,而且激发了学生的自主创造能力和学习的爱好,往往能收到很好的效果。

5,通过课件出示对话“Is this your bedroom? Yes,it is. Come and look at my new curtains.”,学生进行模仿后,出示卧室图片(先可以仍是bedroom,把东西做替换,然后可以是其它房间,其它的东西),让学生和同桌表演对话,或是同桌自由练习,但以同桌表演为主。例如:S1:Is this your bedroom?

S2:Yes,It is. Come and look at my new curtains/closet/end

table/air-conditioner/desk/books

或者“Is this your living room? Yes,it is. Come and look at my new sofa.”。

练习过后上台表演对话。

(4)趣味操练

Let’play

1学生分组做句型接龙。如:学生A说:“In my room I have a trash bin. ”学生B在学生A的句子基础上加上一个词,如:“In my room I have a trash bin and a mirror.”依次类推。教师鼓励学生充分利用本课以外的词汇。

3. 学唱Let’s sing歌曲:教师放“My Small Bedroom”的录音,让学生跟唱。鼓励学生对歌曲中的歌词进行替换,可在班内开一个竞赛,并奖励获胜者。

(5)巩固与拓展

布置家庭作业

1,听说认读本课所学的单词,抄写四会单词,练习使用所学单词表达自己房间内的物品。

2. 做“小小设计师”活动:学生自己回家用画笔设计出自己喜欢的卧室并用今天新学的句子向父母描述。

3,用今天所学单词和句子创编歌谣

【设计意图】:家庭作业是英语教学的一个重要组成部分,是获取教学反馈信息的重要手段。因此在作业的设计上,我尽量从各层次学生实际出发,布置了形式各异的作业供学生选择,鼓励学生与家长合作学习,让学生体验学习的成功感。

【教学反思】

基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是通过各种教学活动,激发和培养学生学习英语的爱好,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力与合作创新的精神,培养学生综合运用英语的能力。

本堂课是遵循以上原则,并结合小学英语课程标准的要求而设计的。课堂教学以“My New Room”为主题,以与每位学生密切相关的“Room”为主线贯穿始终。我在课堂上为学生营造了一个轻松有趣的学习氛围,促使学生积极主动地学习英语,并将所学的知识自然有效地运用于生活实际,收到了“现学现用、学用结合”的成效。

当代教育主张“开放式课堂教学”,注意培养创新型人才。基于这一理念,我在教学过程中依据教学要求、结合教学内容有意识地充实了丰富有趣、针对性强的开放性游戏活动,使孩子们在“乐中学、学中乐”。比如,有关房间内的物品和句型“In my room I have … ”

是本课的教学重点及难点,我在教学中分别采用了“击鼓传花”、“Chain Work”、“自创歌谣”等等活动,开展小组竞赛活动或竞争性的游戏。有效地提高了学习的趣味性,增强了学生的成就感。另外,在孩子们基本把握单词和句型之后,我鼓励他们自编、自导、自演对话,让所学的知识得到升华,并把升华后的知识转变成为真实交际的能力。

在本堂课中,我采用了以下教学方法:

一、视听法:是一种重要的外语教学法,强调听说先于读写,在课堂教学中只使用第二外语。考虑到学生有了一定的语言基础,所以采用了视听法。

二、交际法:即在真实的语言环境中,通过学生的相互交流,学习新知识。针对学生乐于和同伴进行交流的特点,采用了此方法。

三、全身反映法:心理研究表明,在多种感官被刺激的情况下,获得知识更牢固,记忆更深刻。通过游戏歌曲,让学生自然而然的进入英语学习中。设计不同的教学任务,进行分层次教学,使不同层次的学生通过亲身体验、实践参与合作的方式,得到不同层次的语言训练和提高。

本课设计开放性的课后作业,有利于培养学生的语言学习爱好,使教学满足不同层次学生的需要。并积极鼓励学生与家长合作学习,让学生体验学习英语的成功感。
