Step 1 Warming-up

课件展示Get ready主题情景图，教师就这个情景图组织学生进行讨论，如：“Look! This is a classroom. What can you see in the classroom? Who are they? Who are Bill’s new friends?

等等。在讨论的过程中，教师通过指情景图、做手势等方式，引导学生初步理解，本单元的主题是Classmates,教师把单词写在黑板上，领读单词几遍。

Step 2 Presentation

1．课件展示每个图片，师：This is Tom, he is Bill’s new friends. He is clever, He is careless, too.教师领读clever, careless. clever聪明的，careless粗心的。

2．课件展示第二组图片，师：This is Helen. She is polite, and quiet.教师领读polite,

quiet. polite有礼貌的，quiet文静的，安静的。

3．课件展示第三组图片，师：This is Mary. She is cute, friendly and helpful.教师领读cute, friendly and helpful，讲解：cute可爱的，friendly 友好的，helpful乐于助人的。

4．课件展示第四组图片，师：This is Peter. He is active and popular.教师领读。讲解;active 活跃的，popular受欢迎的，

5．学生自读单词，熟悉新单词。

Step3 Practice

1．同桌两人一组使用图片相互读新单词，不会的可以相互帮助。

2．同桌两人一组，相互提问：Who is this? That’s Helen. She’s polite and quiet.教师使用“学乐师生”APP拍照,分享给全班同学。

3．听录音并连线：播放Part A 的录音内容，把名字与图片连线。教师使用“学乐师生”APP拍照,把答案分享给全班同学。

4．小组活动：四人为一组谈论同学们。用到句型：第三人称单数的主语+is+形容词。

例如：Lily is cute. She is friendly, too.

教师使用“学乐师生”师生APP录音，分享给全体同学。

5.根据谈论内容，完成Part B的表格。

6.根据自己填写的表格，把表格内容写成句子，填在课本第3页Part C上的横线上。

7.播放Let’s spell录音，体会字母组合的发音规律, 由学生总结发音规律，教师进行指导。

8．Listen colour and repeat，听录音，把听到的字母组合涂颜色，并跟读单词。学生说答案，全班进行订正。

9．完成Listen and write：播放录音，同学们边跟读边把单词写在横线上。教师在班内走动，对出错的要及时纠正。

10．播放Listen and repeat歌谣，学生跟读，学生自读3遍，同桌两人组相互读，教师用“学乐师生”APP录音，然后分享给全体同学。

Step4 总结

今天我们学习了clever, careless, polite, quiet, cute, friendly, active, popular, helpful,以及用这些词语描述同学和朋友。
