本课是北师大版《初中英语》八年级上册第三单元，话题是“节日”。本课是本单
元的第一课，在承接Get Ready部分有关“Festival and Holidays”话题的基础上，本课主要介绍Grace在北京过春节的情况。
本课的教学主要分成两个课时，本节课是第一课时，侧重对课文的理解，首先通过
头脑风暴的形式激发学生已有的知识：一年中的主要节日。然后利用猜谜游戏引入中国
传统节日---春节，以及春节人们都有哪些活动。接着通过阅读了解Grace在北京过春节的文章大意和细节信息---Grace在除夕当天的各种活动，以及Grace当时的感受。本节课主要渗透现在完成时的疑问句的相关知识，主要引导学生理解现在完成时的语用功能。
学情分析
授课学校位于北京郊区的城乡结合部，学生的英语水平参差不齐，但大多数学生的
英语水平较弱，学生整体英语能力一般，但思维较活跃，对英语学习比较有兴趣。对于
教材中要求掌握的基本词汇和句型能够较快理解并运用。学生阅读能力参差不齐，大部
分同学可以通过阅读查找细节信息，但是猜词和归纳、推断等高一级的阅读技能很欠缺。
本节课课型为阅读课，针对这种情况，在设计上，考虑学生的层次差距，设计题型
具有阶梯性，由易到难，让学困生在阅读中重新找回自信，优等生有机会发挥。作为初
二的学生，培养其良好的阅读能力非常重要，所以本节课的内容设计上注重此点。
教学目标
在本课学习结束时，学生能够：
1、认读有关节日名称及相关活动的词汇
2、通过阅读找出Grace在北京过春节时的各种活动信息，并能根据上下文猜测生词的含义。
3、了解全国各地人们欢度春节的传统文化

在现在完成时句中的位置。通过练习使学生理解现在完成时和一般过去时、一般现在时
的区别，最后引导学生运用所学描述自己的寒假生活。

区别。学生本节课的主要任务是学习现在完成时的疑问句和副词在完成时句子中的位置，
以及现在完成时与一般过去时、一般现在时的区别。因此，归纳现在完成时疑问句句型
结构对于学生来讲应该不难。但是正确区分现在完成时和一般过去时的语用功能对他们
来说还是有一定难度的。
