本课是北师大版《初中英语》八年级上册第三单元,话题是“节日”。本课是本单

元的第一课,在承接Get Ready部分有关“Festival and Holidays”话题的基础上,本课主要介绍Grace在北京过春节的情况。

本课的教学主要分成两个课时,本节课是第一课时,侧重对课文的理解,首先通过

头脑风暴的形式激发学生已有的知识:一年中的主要节日。然后利用猜谜游戏引入中国

传统节日---春节,以及春节人们都有哪些活动。接着通过阅读了解Grace在北京过春节的文章大意和细节信息---Grace在除夕当天的各种活动,以及Grace当时的感受。本节课主要渗透现在完成时的疑问句的相关知识,主要引导学生理解现在完成时的语用功能。

学情分析

授课学校位于北京郊区的城乡结合部,学生的英语水平参差不齐,但大多数学生的

英语水平较弱,学生整体英语能力一般,但思维较活跃,对英语学习比较有兴趣。对于

教材中要求掌握的基本词汇和句型能够较快理解并运用。学生阅读能力参差不齐,大部

分同学可以通过阅读查找细节信息,但是猜词和归纳、推断等高一级的阅读技能很欠缺。

本节课课型为阅读课,针对这种情况,在设计上,考虑学生的层次差距,设计题型

具有阶梯性,由易到难,让学困生在阅读中重新找回自信,优等生有机会发挥。作为初

二的学生,培养其良好的阅读能力非常重要,所以本节课的内容设计上注重此点。

教学目标

在本课学习结束时,学生能够:

1、认读有关节日名称及相关活动的词汇

2、通过阅读找出Grace在北京过春节时的各种活动信息,并能根据上下文猜测生词的含义。

结构对于学生来讲应该不难。但是正确区分现在完成时和一般过去时的语用功能对他们

来说还是有一定难度的。
