四级考试试卷构成

新四级把阅读部分占35％的分数，其中仔细阅读部分(Reading in Depth)占20％，快速阅读部分(Skimming and Scanning)占15％。 ● 仔细阅读部分分为：选择题型的篇章阅读理解；篇章层次的词汇理解(Banked Cloze)或短句问答(Short Answer Questions)。选择题和短句问答属于老题型，考生非常熟悉；新增的题型就是词汇理解题。新四级考察词汇的方法很特别：从一篇220字左右的文章中，留出10个单词的空格，从给出的15个备选单词中选出10个填入文章相应处，使文章意思通顺，表达正确，并不像旧四级那样出几十道词汇题。这对考生的词汇能力提出了更高的要求。以前只要看懂句子就可以把词汇题做出来，而且词汇题重复率很高，有的词汇，如：entitle等，能连续考几次。面对这种题型，考生即使词汇掌握得不好，也有可能通过做大量的真题在词汇部分取得比较好的成绩。而新四级的这种考察词汇的方式就显得很灵活了，每次出的阅读理解文章都不一样，没法用以前的题海战术了，也就更能真实地反应考生的词汇水平和阅读理解能力。

●快速阅读是阅读理解中的另一种新题型，测试的是考生浏览阅读和查读能力，要求在15分钟看完成一篇1200字左右的文章和后面的10道题，前7个是判断正误，后3个是填空题。这种题型以前只在英语专业的四、八级考试中出现，而现在也被运用到大学英语考试中来了。这是一个突出考察考生略读和查读的题型，因而考题一般都是考察文章中的一些显性信息，答案都很容易在原文中找到。只要考生掌握了一定的技巧，会很容易取得高分。完形填空和改错中二选一，还要考察汉译英。完形填空和改错属于老题型，考生完全不用担心。虽然改错以前一直是六级考察的项目，并且这次新样题中没有给出新四级改错样题，但是我们认为新四级的改错题型应该和现在的六级改错题型差不多。而且改错的考点无非就是对语法点，如：主谓一致、时态等等，和上下文逻辑的考察，只要复习了常见考点就没问题。需要引起注意的是汉译英部分。垃圾词汇1：help 典型例句：I’ll help you. 替代语：accommodate E.g: I’ll endeavor to accommodate you. 垃圾词汇2：helpful 典型例句：Sth is helpful (to sb) 替代语：conducive E.g: Sth is conducive to sb 鉴于有些作文多关于道德和品格塑造，再给出两个有用的短语： time-honored 时代赋予的

He had a perfect resume and gave good responses to her questions, but the fact that he never looked her in the eye said “untrustworthy,” so she decided to offer the job to her second choice. “It wasn’t until I attended a diversity workshop that I realized the person we passed over was the perfect person,” Tiffany confesses. What she hadn’t known at the time of the interview was that the candidate’s “different” behavior was simply a cultural misunderstanding .
