流行歌曲会成为一代之文学吗？不妨回到具体的学术语境。金、元以来不断有学者倡导历朝文学各有所胜之说，后经王国维《宋元戏曲考序》论述而为人耳熟能详。历代文学各有胜擅之说，突破了文学史一直以诗文为尊的等级观念，以开放包容的审美眼光，揭示出不同时期文学体式丰富多彩、不断迭兴的本真面貌。王氏倡“一代有一代之文学”，深含着为元曲鸣不平以期唤起世人对其价值重估的焦虑。他感慨：“独元人之曲，为时既近，托体稍卑，故两朝史志与《四库》集部均不著于录；后世儒硕皆鄙弃不复道……遂使一代文献，郁堙沉晦者且数百年，愚甚惑焉。”于是将元曲与唐诗、宋词等并列，实有为曲争地位的心理动机。不错，正是“一代有一代之文学”理念构建的开放视野，为每个时代寻找代表性的文学样式预留了空间，也从理论上预设了流行歌曲为“一代之文学”的可能性。 不过，值得注意的是，以文体递嬗观念考察文学样式者代不乏人，王国维说到了点子上，有人的判断却出了错。明人卓人月《古今词统序》云：“我明诗让唐，词让宋，曲又让元，庶几《吴歌》、《桂枝儿》、《罗江怨》、《打枣竿》、《银绞丝》之类，为我明一绝耳。”卓人月才、学、识均属上乘，但他于明代民歌的评价不免有拔高之嫌，很少有人能接受唐诗、宋词、明歌并列的提法。远见卓识如卓人月，尚不免犯研究者的两大通病：一是没有拉开足够的心理距离，有意或无意拔高研究对象，不能恰如其分地公允评价，成为事实上的“武断的文化史家”；二是没有拉开足够的时间距离，不能跳出文化现场，“身在此山中”影响了视线与判断。卓人月的误判对今天的启示是：现在断言流行歌曲成为一代之文学是否过早，我们是否被现象所迷惑，是否拥有了足够广阔的学术视野，是否有过对文化现象足够的反省、批判与质疑，是否拥有王国维般广收博采成一家之言的学术能力？ 以“一代之文学”衡之于流行歌曲的研究者，也许忽略了王国维这一提法的文化语境与真正用心。王国维写《宋元戏曲史》的年代，正是京剧舞台艺术如日中天之时，这一点与当下流行歌曲红遍大江南北如出一辙，但王国维并非为当时流行的、强势的、占主导地位的艺术寻找合法性证据（这一点与今天学者大不相同，我们太热衷于为现存事实提供学理支撑了），他有严格的学理尺度和独立的价值判断，表现出“虽千万人吾往矣”的学术勇气：“明以后无足取，元曲为活文学，明清之曲，死文学也。”当国人在京剧艺术里如痴如醉之时，他的这番表态犹如空谷足音雄视古今，充满了文化自负与学术自信。再者，王国维论元曲独标其文字而非将其当作舞台艺术进行考察，这与其“仅爱读曲，不爱观剧”的人生喜好有关。今天戏曲学已演化为包括案头与场上在内的立体研究，王国维的研究方法自有值得商榷之处，但不得不佩服他对元曲文字震古铄今的价值发现。元曲自明万历年间就基本无人能唱，它的音乐、唱腔已淹灭不闻，其文字却熠熠生辉，在含蓄蕴藉风格之外另辟本色自然的审美向度。对尚活在舞台上的明清之曲，他抱以冷然的态度，因为文字并未带来令人耳目一新的艺术创造，至于京剧，已由作家中心转向演员中心，文字上更无足观了。 如此，王国维“一代之文学”的说法实则包含这样的内容：不管当下多流行，一时的影响多广泛，它必须作为“案头文本”接受审查——是否做出别样的艺术贡献，提供了不一样的审美价值？换句话说，流行歌曲如果要取代诗成为当代文学的代表性样式，它就必须接受成为文学经典的资格审查（娴熟的形象语言、原创性、认知能力等），并服从于文学中心主义的价值标码。 1．下列各项中，其内涵不属于作者所论“一代之文学”范畴的一项是（） A．汉赋唐诗B．宋词明歌 C．楚辞元曲D．汉赋宋词
