My parents divorced when I was 5，making my mother a single parent. We had little money，but my mom gave me a lot of love. Madame Curie was an outstanding woman，who was a Polish woman scientist. She was born in Poland and after she married，she went to France to study Chemistry and Physics.
She was well-educated，intelligent and hardworking. With a very strong will，she never lost heart when she was in great trouble. She loved science so much that she devoted all her life to it. She was well-known for having made great achievements for human beings. In 1903，she received the Nobel Prize for Physics because she together with her husband discovered the radium element.
