健康是人的基本权利,是人生最宝贵的财富之一。而吸烟对人的健康损害非常大。全球每年有500万人死于与吸烟有关的疾病,如果不加控制,这一数字到2020年时将达到1000万。吸烟对发育成长中的青少年的健康危害更大,所以我说课的课文《Smoking is not allowed here》就是要教育学生们远离烟草,健康生活。

Part1 教材分析

《Smoking is not allowed here》一课是中职教育课程改革国家规划新教材基础模块下册《Unit 7 Health》中的阅读课文。本篇课文主要有四部分内容,第一部分告诉大家很多公共场所禁止吸烟。第二部分告诉学生们认为吸烟是一种时尚,这种想法是愚蠢而且错误的;第三部分详细讲解吸烟有害健康,对吸烟者和不吸烟者都有很大危害。第四部分简述全世界都掀起了禁烟运动,吸烟者只要有决心,吸烟的习惯就一定可以成功戒掉。

Part 2学情分析

本篇课文针对高二学生。这个年龄段的学生心智发育不完全成熟,对万事万物充满好奇,禁不住各种诱惑。他们中的很多人,由其是男生开始偷偷地学习吸烟或者已经学会吸烟他们认为吸烟很酷。有些学生害怕老师和家长发现,所以经常躲在厕所内吸烟,或者在校外吸烟。通过对本篇课文的学习,对学生起到了很好的教育作用,使其对吸烟这种行为有了正确认识,从而帮助其树立正确的人生观和价值观,有助于他们的健康成长。

为了充分体现“以学生为主体”的教学理念,我采用小组讨论和启发

引导等多种方式,引导学生理解和掌握知识,达到听、说、读和写的

全面提高。

Part7教学过程

Step1 Warming up

图片引导,问题切入

本课一开始,教师利用多媒体展示一些“吸烟有害健康”图片,让学

生发表自己的看法。然后,教师给出以下简单问题,让学生回答。

Do you smoke?

Do you think smoking is harmful to our health?

Step 2 Lead-in

Why is smoking harmful to our health?

对吸烟的害处学生进行小组讨论。学生在完成问题的同时,也有效的

巩固了上节课学过的单词,对上节课的单词达到了复习和灵活运用的

效果,并且用英语回答问题,也强化了学生的口语,这比教师单独提

问或听写单词的效果要好得多。同时,小组讨论也培养学生的团队合

作精神。

Step3 Fast reading

在这一阶段,教师将刚才那几个相对简单的问题,引申成为以下几个跟课文息息相关的问题:

1) Can people smoke in cinemas, department stores or

hospitals now in China?

2) What bad effects does smoking have on smoker’s health?

3) How does smoking attack the sm oker’s body,

4) How many people die from smoking-related diseases every

year?

5) Why is smoking also harmful to those who don’t smoke?

这一阶段,我播放录音,学生一边听录音,一边在课文中找出答案,因为问题

是刚才那三个问题的引申,同时又跟课文紧密相连,所以,大部分问题的答案学生

能在课文中找出。

以上这五个问题都是我精心设计的,它们的答案不仅把整篇文章的主要内容概

括了,而且这些问题本身以及它们的答案就包括着我本节课要讲的知识点。

以第一题为例,学生在找答案时,能在课文中找到这样的句子,People can

not smoke in public areas any more. 而句中的not…any more…就是我要讲解的

句型。回答完问题,对课文有了整体理解之后,教师再详细讲解知识点,在此,我

采用启发引导的方式,让学生对知识点达到理解和运用。精讲与泛读相结合,这种

方式更加有利于学生对课文的理解和掌握。

Step 4 Careful-reading

小组研讨,探究疑难点,教师指导解决疑难点。如:

People can’t smoke in the office any more.这里的any more 用法是什么, It won’t be very long before smoking is not allowed

anywhere in public areas.这句话如何理解,

Smoking has many bad effects on people’s health.这里的 have bad

effects on…是什么意思,

培养学生猜测词义,理解语句,归纳大意等能力,并帮助学生理解文本的深层

含义。

Step5 Discussion

What do you say to persuade smokers to give up smoking? Students work in groups. Try to share their opinions

with others in English. Different opinions are welcomed.

通过集体讨论,激活学生思维,使学生的自对主学习,合作

学习,探究学习相结合,引发学生对文本主题的思考。

Step 6 Consolidation

为了让学生对本篇课文达到全面理解,本阶段我让学生对课文进

行复述。职高高二学生英语基础相对薄弱,让其完全脱离教材进行复述,有些困难。所以,用多媒体展示一些关键词,让学生填空,然后再对课文大意进行复述,有利于学生的全面掌握。通过复述课文,有效的锻炼了学生的思维逻辑性和语言连贯性,训练了学生的听、说和读的能力。

Step7 Assignments

让同学们搜集如何戒烟的英语资料,并用英语向大家讲解,培养

学生的英语阅读和表达能力。

5教学反思。

根据本堂课的教学设计,初步预计全班同学都能理解本篇课文,

懂得吸烟有害健康。其中百分之七十的学生能够对知识点达到全面掌握和灵活运用。
