It's our pleasure to have a presentation in front of you. Today we are going to talk about the relationship between gender and the attitude toward the life. Just as you can see the title on the power point: First of all, I’d like to introduce the framework of the whole presentation .It’s consist of four sections. In the first section, we will give you the brief introduction of the topic. And then, we are going to share some data which derives from a simple survey we have done. Next, in the third part, we will try to analyze the reasons, Combining the questionnaire’s results and academic essays. Finally, the suggestion will be given in the last section.

Now, I’d like to invite you to see two pictures. Can you tell me what’s the difference between these pictures? Ok, I appreciate your great observation ability. But what I want to say is that one is a boy, and the other is a girl. Furthermore, the boy represents the male, on the other hand, the girl is on behalf of the female. Can you guess whether the male or the female is more likely to be optimistic ? Keep your question , we are going to share the answer we have found.

To discover the relationship between the gender and the attitude towards the life ,we have done a simple survey. The progress includes five steps. Firstly, we choose 40 people as the objects of the investigation. Apparently, men and women count each half. Then we send the questionnaire, which is made up of four questions. We can

have a quick look at the questionnaire . Ok, you may have your answer. Actually ,the next three parts play the most important roles in this presentation. They are statistics, analysis of the reason ,and the suggestion made by our team.

Ok then, let’s move to one of the highlights in the presentation——statistics. I will show you three pictures. First one is about the gender distribution in optimists and pessimists. As we can see, in the optimists group, male accounts for more than the female. On the contrary, there are more female in the pessimists group. To see the distribution more directly, we have another pie chart. Male account for 56% of the optimists group, which takes up more 12% than the female. So we can draw a same conclusion that we have seen on an academic

paper :Overall, women are more pessimistic than men. In the other words , men are more optimistic than the woman .

To support the conclusion, we also asked the objects the idea of which gender are inclined to be optimistic. We found that approximately 80% of male and 60% of female thought male are more optimistic than the female.
