平时多读，凭借语感当机立断，这部分每空只有0.5分，所以千万不要花太多时间，做
不出的就放弃，当然也不要乱选，毕竟0.5分也是分，要做到又快又准。第三部分是大头：
阅读，5篇文章，每篇约800词。对阅读的难度一定要有充分的认识；把你能想象的最大难
度放大十倍，就差不多了（当然对于牛人这句话不适用）。每篇只能看一遍文章就去做题（做
的过程可以回头寻找文中的细节）。我就在这方面犯错误了，有一篇文章看了两遍才做，最后
就不够时间了。第四部分是排序，一篇文章抽去了几段，要从选项中把正确的段落补回
去。这种题型对大家比较陌生，而且做到这里，脑子也比较混乱或者是转不动了，我也提不
出什么好办法，虽然每题有2分。最后是快速阅读，有3篇文章，每篇800词，10道选
择题，都是考文章的细节，难度很小，关键是阅读速度要快，以上是第一卷，到时间后监考
人员收卷，再发第二卷作文，这次的作文题目是“多设立职业高中还是普通高中？”个人觉得pets的作文题目都怪怪的，似乎与4、6级差得比较大，不好写。中午在广外
休息一下，回来教室干坐着等考官叫名。也可以利用这段时间和partner练习一下口语。我
和附属3院的一个外科gg医生一起考，该gg已经考过一次了，他说口语一般不为难人，关
键还是笔试。事实证明了他的话，笔试时先自我介绍，然后各取一个topic进行讨论，再就
某个话题共同讨论，我觉得自己发挥很差，能拿到5分实在是出乎意料之外，可能是我的发
音比较好吧。最后提出总结几点吧： 1、对pets难度要有充分认识 2、熟悉题型，每
部分的应对策略和时间要了然于心 3、考试时间非常紧，想回头检查基本是不可能的，所以
懂的就要在尽可能短的时间里完成，不懂的要学会放弃。考试前一天晚上要休息好，考试那
天中午也要尽可能休息好 4、记得带沙食物进考场，考试需要非常充沛的体力 5、阅读部分
是最重要的 1、词汇量一定要达到7000左右，你可以到书店去找一下，一般在7000左右的
pets-5词汇的书，就给它买下来。回家以后一定要背下来，不然的话阅读根本就没法过。
2、听力可以拿cet-6水平的磁带来练习（如果有pets-5的磁带就更好了）。我在这里可
以告诉你，因为pets-5是可以代替公派出国成绩的，所以其听力容100%是和出国留学方面
有关系的，这一点在我考的时候我就调查清楚了，并且我考的时候也是如此。（听力的对话主
要是学生与导师之间讨论选、修学科或是毕业论文方面的体裁）
3、口语是非常简单的，只要背一篇经典的自我介绍（里面主要叙述一下你的家庭情况和
你本人的业余爱好）。然后再相应的了解或是背诵一些自然体裁的文章，如：环境污染、交通
堵塞、运动与健康、父母与我们之间两代人的代沟等等一系列的社会话题。总之一句话，口

希望能与大家分享，也感wendy版主和oneone版主的支持。文章的结构大致分为以下几个部
分，同学可以选择全看，也可以跳着楼层阅读，吼吼。

1何为pets-5考试？如何与四六级考试连接？
pets-5级的考试是在校通过六级考试的考生如果想继续提高水平的一个社会英语考试。
这个考试的难度是在新六级考试之上的，但并不是说这个考试的绝对难度就比六级难，而是
相对难度比较难。这个考试要求听说读写的四个部分都要达到标准的分数—就是都要达到一个合格的分数，有一个部分不合格也不能通过--并且总和的分数也要达到一个合格的分数才可以算过关，而且这个考试据说是卡一定的通过率的，这一点我不大确定。
pets-5考试鉴于它特定的评分标准比较bt，所以便吓到了一大堆人。其实这个考试的核心难度并不比六级高多少，但是过了六级考试的考生不能轻视pets-5考试，也要根据考试的特点进行有针对性的复习，考试复习的时间长度可以根据各人的基础来定。通过此考试的考生可以取得免试公派出国的英语资格，有效期为两年。
下面是pets-5考试的官方简介：
全国英语等级考试（public english test system, 简称pets）是教育部考试中心负责设计并实施的全国性英语水平考试体系。应试者不分年龄、学历、户籍等背景，只要具备一定的英语基础，均可选择适合自己的级别。pets共有五个级别，各级别都十分重视对考生实际的语言交际能力的考查，均包括笔试和口试两个相对独立的部分。考生可以根据自己的需要分别报考笔试或口试。单项合格者可得到相应的单项合格证书；笔试和口试均合格者，方可获得教育部考试中心颁发的相应级别的合格证书。
pets-1～4级的考试报名和组织工作由各省省级考试承办机构负责。考试时间为：每年3月开考pets-1（b）、1、2、3级，每年9月开考1、2、3、4级。
pets-5级取代了全国外语水平考试（wsk）中的ept考试，其考试时间、组织方式与全国外语水平考试(wsk)的其他科目一致。pets-5级的考试时间为每年6月的第4个周末和12月的第3个周末，由教育部考试中心在全国设置的35个考点负责报名和组织实施。pets-5级的
考试情况详见本书全国外语水平考试部分。
2pets-5考试如何备考？
pets-5考试从本质上说还是传统的国英语考试，考的样式比较模式话，熟悉国的四六级考试的考生只要考前对该考试的模式进行多熟悉，应该是问题不大的。
关于pets-5考试的准备书目的问题，同学在市场是最常见的是一本蓝皮的官方的教程，一本是带磁带的黄皮的练习册。这本蓝皮的官方教程，我并没有买过，只是在在书店认真的翻过。这本教程基本上是按单元来划分的，每一个单元都模拟pets-5考试的一部分考题进行仿真训练。这套教程里选的篇目都是比较传统的文章，每个单元看下去并没有什么新意，而且整本书对于pets-5考试也只是进行题目上的模拟，并没有任何指导性质的建议，这一点是很不足取的。
对于黄色的仿真练习册，是市面上少有的针对pets-5出的练习题了。鉴于pets-5每年考的次数比较少，而且考生的人数比较少，考试的真题在市面上流出不并不多，所以这本模拟题的价值就显得弥足珍贵了。相对于考试的真题来说，这套题的难度是偏简单的，真实的考试题目难度大概在这套模拟题的1.5倍以上，这套题只是大家在进行模拟时，有比较好的模拟材料而已。另外一说的就是这套题的听力部分是用磁带播放的，所以想用它进行备考的童鞋就需要准备录音机了。
3pets-5考试的临场经验是何？
pets-5的听力部分是比较传统的考试，第一部分主要是听一篇小短文，对短文的容进行对错的判断。这个题目放在第一题，考试的难度不是很大，这一点与bec高级考试要求考生在考试之时立刻进入状态是完全不同的。听力的第一部分只要求考试对一些简单的文章细节进行判断对错就好，而且题目的对错出的比较明显，认真听应该不会有太大的问题。听力的第二部分就是3-4篇短文了，这个题目有与其他听力考试与众不同的特点。这个特点就是考试时题目非常少，就三个题目，但是听得时间非常长，文章很长。这样的考试方式就容易让考生抓不到考点，很容易在听的过程中走个小神，事实上我在考试的过程中就犯了这个小毛
病。文章偏长，而考的容又比较细，很容易一下子不留神就漏听了过去。所以还没有考pets-5
考试的童鞋，一定要对此部分提起注意。第三部分就是根据听力文章的容进行句子的补足。
经常练习听写的童鞋对这个部分应该不会感到有难度，考试的单词基本上是以4-6级左右的
词汇为主的，没有超过6级以上的词汇，但是考词稍微有点小偏。大家留心就好。
pets-5的阅读部分的难度并不是很大，但是考的类型是比较全面的。比如pets-5考试
阅读的第一部分考察的就是就是完形填空，这个完形填空与bec高级的阅读的part4的考试
题型是一样的，都是没有选项进行直接填词，相比较而言，pets-5考
试的这部分比bec高级考的难度要大一些，bec高级考试填的虚词对一些，而且pets-5
考试填的实词的要多一些。这里要说一下的是，pets-5考试模拟题，就是黄色的模拟题，这
部分考的非常之bt！！我前几次做简直打击坏我了，大家如果也遇到打击的话，一定要蛋腚
啊，考试真的没有这么难的！
接着阅读的部分就是传统的阅读理解的项目了。考试的时候是3篇还阅读理解，都传统
的题型，这个没什么好说的，就是文章和题目的量都比较大。题目基本上没有送分的题型，
答案都老长老长，有的还要读个一两遍才能读懂。紧接着就是句子插入题。这个题目与bec
高级考试的part2部分是相同的。难度来说的话，两个考试相当，都是考察考生联系上下文
的理解能力。最后一个部分有难度，是选择句子配对型—这个名字是我自己编的哈。那本黄
色的模拟题这个部分很简单，我经常模拟的时候全做对，但是考试的时候我确定自己有一个
没做对，因为有个空根本就没有填出来，主要是文章相对来说容不是很熟悉，说的是宫殿的
事情，而且文章讲的也比较的绕，时间又短，汗！pets-5的阅读考试是量比较大的，考试答
题的时间大概是50分钟，所以每篇放的时间切记不要太长了，而且第一篇要速战速决！
作文的部分就比较传统的了，就是一篇典型的toefl议论文，比较没有新意，好好准备
6级的童鞋在6级的基础上认真复习，勤练习写作就能应对了。这个作文纸上面的答题卡有
个地方挺有意思的，就是它虽然满分是20分，但是老师填涂的时候最多只能填涂到19分，
真不明白为什么要这么设计，难道就没有能写到20分的作文吗，我就不信了！
关于pets-5的口语问题，都是比较传统的题。先是问个人的简单情况，然后问一个简单
的事情，问问你的看法，然后就是以一个问题为核心，两个人进行相互的讨论。我那次考试
问的是一个领导应该有哪些优秀的品质，比较简单的题目了，相信大家都能轻松应对了。
4师大的考试环境
在师大考试有4个地方可以住，分别是师大的校，东招，西招，以及离的比较远的5星
级酒店。师大校那个住宿如果跟一起去的朋友拼间的，价格是比较便宜的，而且还可以顺道
熟悉考场。师大的考场在外国语学院的4楼，也就是托福考场的楼下。师大的外国语学院并
没有在师大的校区，而是隔一条街，从师大校区走天桥就到了。东招、西招是部队的招待所，
一个价格和师大校的住宿相当，另一个条件较好，我一般都住这里，因为这个地方不临街，
环境很安静，而且早餐是自助的，质量有保证，能吃的不错，保证一上午有精力。至于那个
五星级酒店叫啥个名字我是实在想不起来了，离的比较远了，步行大概要10分钟左右，而且
非常糟糕的是早餐质量非常一般，而且还要钱，bs! 5其他零零碎碎要说的话

我今天就把我的pets考试经历跟大家分享一下吧.
想到参加pets考试纯属意外,以前awind根本就没有听说过这个考试,直到有一天偶的一
个同学跟我说她考过了pets4而且还挺好玩的.她在没有准备的情况下就参加了考试,竟然可
以顺利通过!这下我的兴趣全来了,不用准备也可以拿及格真的挺好玩的
为而且还有口试先,有点意思.那个学期姑娘有点无聊,都没有什么考试的,就当为专八做
准备吧,咱也去考一回!于是跟同学借了pets4的复习资料,看了一下好象还挺容易的,那为何
不报pets5呢?后来到学校一问只有4没有5,有点失望,还是想考5,那就只有到西大走一趟了.
自己去太无聊还是人多点好玩!于是纠集了宿舍两条闲人跟我一起去报名.
名是报了不过没有复习资料哦,回头跟forrest一合计我们决定到书城去买!(forrest也
是被我拉下水的呵呵)不过后来我们还是到南国书店买的,直到现在我才完全明白买这些书对
我来说真的没有什么用呵呵因为我从来都没有去看过,白白浪费了.
好了还是说说考试吧!不记得是11月还是12月考咯,忘记鸟.我只记得那天下大雨,姑娘
几个都有点想罢考,但是后来想到报名费那么贵,对于当时还是学生的我们来说真的是不小的
一笔钱为,最后决定豁出去了.
试卷第一部分是听力,也就是true & false statement,我做的时候没有什么技巧的
因为整篇文章我全部都能很快听懂所以很快就能把答案选出来了,中午休息的时候听那些身
经百战的pets fans说做这些题应该先假设所有的答案是对的或者是错的,然后再做选择就简
单了,后来想想这个方法好象很不错的哦,跟大家分享一下.后面就是阅读理解了,难度不是很
大比cet6稍难,题量比较大一定要抓紧时间,因为还要填答题卡呢.最后有一题好象是把句子
还原到原文的,这个难度比较大也比较花时间,有点不太抵值呵呵.pets考试中作文是最容易
的了就跟cet4&cet6的作文是一样的题目也是缺乏新意.另外因为pets考试每一部分试
卷的完成时间都是有限制的这就是跟cet的不同,时间一到老师就会收那部分的试卷,所以到
了写作这一块时间就比较充裕.后来同学跟我说她那个教室的考生写作文的时候唉声叹气的
声音好大呵呵很多中年男女都在摇头叹气抓头.
口试部分是我觉得最好玩的,因为可以认识好多人呵呵不过年龄好象都比我大好多.前一
号跟后一号就是partner,见到主考之后,考官会要求你做个self-introduction这个还是可
以事先准备的,流利清晰的自我介绍会给考官留下一个好的第一印象,这个非常重要.然后考
官会给每人一纸条上面各有一个topic然后双方要把自己的信息传达给对方而对方就要注意
做些笔记只之类的,最后你就要根据你得到的信息象对方提问.
过程好象就是这样了年代久远记得不是很清楚了,希望大家补充.考完之后好累的因为没
有午觉可以睡.

pets5考试，我是08年12月考的。谈谈自己的心得。希望对大家有所借鉴。
pets5 目前没有真题，真题只出到4级。市面上的模仿题与真题相差甚远。不过推荐一
套书，是“经科”系列的 pets5 教材和模拟题共两本，选材难度与真题最为贴近，不好的是
它的模拟题只有卡带（在这里很感ff啦，帮我把卡带转成mp3）。篇三：史上最全pets5通

我参加了2012年6月的pets5考试，即wsk考试的一部分。专业人士一般都习惯称呼为
宠物5，在业界有个外号叫做“小雅思”pets5的60分的相当于雅思的7分。我觉得看这篇
日志的人80%没听过这个考试，简单解释一下，全称public english test system level 5，
翻译成汉语就是全国公共英语等级考试5级，由教育部考试中心设计并负责，最低的是pets1
级，考过了你可以去国外当出租车司机或者服务生。最高pets5级，pets2的水平是优秀高
中毕业生的水平，注意我说的是“优秀”高中毕业生，4级就是现在的研究生入学考试的水
平，如果5级能够考到总分100分中的50分，那么你考研究生的英语科目就可以免试了。这
样说可能不是太直观，都知道专八考试，网上说专八和pets5比起来就是一坨屎，我没参加过专八考试，因此在难度上不敢妄加评论，但是单就二者的通过率而言（专八45%，pets5 5%——10%）可以论证前面这句话虽然偏激，但是偏激的有些道理。再加上二者的参考人员的不同，专八的参考者是普通全日制高校英语本科生，pets5是面向全社会，但是需要注意一点，几乎没有社会闲散人员抱着试试看的态度去考，除非家里有钱烧的，基本都是大学教师且有副教授职称的人去考，因为他们要申请公费留学。最后就是专业八级只要总成绩达到及格就算通过，但是pets5共分三部分，总分、听力和口语，必须全部及格才算通过，也就是说总分100分必须考够60，100分里有30听力，必须达到18，口语满分5分必须达到3分，考试的通过率低根本原因就是都栽在听力和口语上，这就是为什么我说那些自认为英语底子好的人只会学英语而不会用英语的原因。忘了报一下我的分数了，我的总分73分，其中听力23分，口语4分。
谈一下我通过这个考试的过程吧，我自己的觉得似乎很有趣，很热血。为什么报这个考试呢？自从进了这家公司工作以来，我觉得我每天除了开机关机实在找不到什么有意义的事情可做了，为了打发这百无聊赖的时间我毅然决定找个考试准备一下打发这混吃等死的时间。在网上挑了很多，比较适合我的应该就是这一个了，因为是最高级，名字叫全国公共英语等级考试，开始我根本没听过这个考试，所以感觉应该不成问题，甚至产生了要虐pets5的想法。可是后来我报了名才发现被坑了，百度百科里说pets5相当于大学英语专业二年级结束时的水平，后来我才琢磨着是不是说的美国的大学，最主要的原因是比起别的考试昂贵的报名费，pets5才需要200大元，确实挺便宜了，为此专门请了半天假去了趟山师大报名。
按照我以前考试的习惯，去买一本真题或者专家预测卷，结果遍寻各大书店，人家都没有真题。上网上一查，pets5真题拆封之前属于国家绝密，拆封之后属于，考完试收上去立马粉碎，这无疑又增加了考试难度，就这点而言，我们的高考考完试还能在报纸上刊登真题和答案简直太有爱了。总之，通过这些，我感觉自己真被坑了，想过去退报名费，网上说不给退，当真是骑虎难下啊！于是无奈只能去买专家预测卷了，买完之后我发现又被坑了，封皮上赫然印着“2010年pets5最新专家预测卷”，我被穿越了，随便翻了翻，里面的阅读题也就是专业四级的水平此时大约在4月中旬，留给我的时间也就是一个半月了。
没办法了，这个考试既然变态到这种程度，我就只能先从单词开始提高了，在网上下了pets5词汇，最原始版的我用word统计了一下，10w多字，然后我花了两天的时间把已经认识的全部去掉只留下不会的，结果还是出现了下面的场景：
以上三都是我后来从word中写在本子上的。光背单词就花了20多天的时间，期间各种忘记各种回想各种折磨各种想放弃。不过在这期间我确实意识到如果不坚持的话我的英语就彻底废了，于是就在这种不断地折磨当中进步着。
说一下考试题型，共五个部分，一、听力。二、完形填空。三、阅读。四、写作。五、口语
过pets5的关键是听力，听力一共三个部分，第一个部分判断正误，10个题，第二部分就是那种长见的多项选择，共3小部分，前2小部分，每个部分3题，最后一个部分4个题，共计10题，第三部分是最变态的，10个问题，每个问题用不超过3个英语单词作答，那个问题长的，有些货甚至都读不懂。每个题都是1分，共计30分，时间是35分钟（包括图答题卡的时间）。好吧这个听力的语速呢基本和bbc持平，而且基本全是英音，和平时学的美音有些区别，而且考试都用录音机公放，难度又提升一个档次，于是我每天就去bbc的官网上听，下载下来回家听，尤其是早上，起床就听啊！我感觉bbc的有一句广告语就是为我而设的：whereever you are,you are with the bbc.无论你身在何处，bbc都与你相伴，每次听到都想哭啊，不时地我还会听一些voa的材料，总之练到后来可以听懂50%左右吧。前段时间买的那个预测试卷上的听力后来我直接不喜地做了，因为我发现和真正的pets5听力比起
来那就是个高中水平，我也别浪费时间了。到最后临考试前一个星期我还做了8套雅思的机经，因为题型和pets5很像，下载剑桥雅思1——8，每套4个听力，每个听力4个大题，天天就在办公室里听啊！听到崩溃有木有。
这个完型填空我从一开始就没打算好好准备，一是分值不高才10分，二就是没有选项，抠出20个空，自己想单词去填，哪儿说理去，我做过两篇模拟的，也就得个4到5分，果断战略性放弃。这一部分是15分钟时间很宽裕。
当然在这期间也得兼顾阅读，也是个大头，占35分，这个阅读也是三个部分，第一部分是三篇文章，就是最长见的多项选择，高中每天必做的，每篇文章5个题，共15个小题，共15分，第二部分是一大篇文章，扣去5个空，这5个空全是大段的文章而不是句子，然后给你6个选项还原整篇文章，多出来一个选项是用不到的，这5个空每个2分（好值钱啊）。第三部分是4篇文章，10个小题，类似于要把每个句子是在哪篇文章中提到的给选出来，当然不会有那种能够找到一模一样的弱智句子，每个1分。阅读最大的难度是时间问题，三大部分50分钟必须做完，你要是觉得时间长，那让我来告诉你一共就5篇文章，每篇至少800个单词，还不算你做题和涂答题卡的时间，几乎就是一一目十行，看见就选。
第四部分写作，共25分，40分钟，要求写一篇250单词的文章，时间很宽裕，据说基本山寨的雅思那种对立式观点或者单一式观点，但是我还是每天要坚持练两篇，因为我这个字儿是在太烂了，而且我总容易写多，评分时如果超过300个单词，则超出部分不予评阅。于是各种本子上都是我那各种“不堪入目”的字。
最后一部分口语，满分5分，包括与老师对话，与partner argue已经self-presentation。不计入总分，但是属于单独计分，必须达到3分，可是这是我最有信心的一部分，我的口语练的不能说和外国人一样吧，但是对于一个人的世界而言，英语已经成为我的官方语言了。
在网上想找个人问问pets5的真实情况都找不到，加了一些群进了好些论坛，在网上各种搜，都没法达到我这个要求，周末休息我已经彻底放弃了，去新华书店蹭书看，幸好那里的书比较齐全，考试前10天我才烧香进对了庙门，找到一本考试大纲，据网上说这是最接近真题水平并且在市面上能找到的资料了，原来看的那些资料都白看了。果然啊！站在书店里一上午用思想做题各种受打击，各种小腿发僵啊！就这么一连几个星期都是这样过来了。考试前最后一个星期因为平时还要上班我竟然想出了下班后直奔书店的昏招，离我家也不是很远，于是就有了这样一个货，饿着肚子在新华书店各种翻阅，7点半人家下班之后还不情愿赖着不愿走，最后惴惴不安地回到家觉都睡不好，腰也疼。200块钱报名费我早就不记得有这回事儿了，只是觉得要是考不过真对不起我付出的这努力啊，不夸地说，对待高考我都没这么认真过啊。最后一天看完那本书后我深吸一口气，含情脉脉地对着那本书说：“如果这次考试能够通过，我一定把你带走”，弄得就好像一个侠客要为一个风尘女子赎身一样。
5月26日是距离考试整一个星期的日子，我给山师打问可不可以拿，他们告诉我可以，我问可不可以找人带领，他们说行，于是我让我爸一大早就去给我拿回来了，如下：看着照片照的，傻到家了。
考试前一个星期我竟然连吃了一个星期的早饭，希望能给我大脑供上足够的氧气，结果悲催的是考试当天过于紧竟然吃不下去了，端着一碗豆浆坐在摊边，想着我要不别去了吧，再现个眼。最后还是硬着头皮上车了，9点考试，我tm7点就到了，各种闲逛，有些来考试的果然都是60后啊，身上学术气息很浓啊，有一个人在那里坐着闭目养神，出于尊敬我上前问：“您来考pet5？”
结果他睁开眼顶着我手中的瓶子说：“你喝完了吧？能把瓶子给我吗？”
我：“您拿好。”想死的心都有。
那边有个女的，坐在台阶上拿着个收音机戴着耳机听着，听着什么东西我也没敢问，就害怕再过去充满敬意地问一句，收音机里却传来调频88.7的声音。但是这次我弄错了，她真
