一、英文简历的种类

来表达,譬如Resume、Curriculum Vitae、Personal History等。

在英国中,英语简历多用Curriculum Vitae通常缩写为CV来表示。在美国英语中,

以前一般用Personal History,偶尔也用Data Sheet,不过现在则通用Resume这个单词。由于美国英语在世界的影响力,所以网友求职最好用Resume。另外,Resume一词来源于

法语,因此你应聘由法国人投资的公司时也可以适用。

二、英文简历的格式

英文简历的格式结构一般包括页眉部分、教育背景、工作经历和个人资料四部分。如

果已经有全职工作了,一定把工作经历放在第二;如果您目前还是在校学生,应该把教育

背景放在第二。

1、英文简历页眉部分

1、求职人名字对于求职人名字有很多种写法,不过采用国际通用的写法比较妥当,即“名在前姓在后”。譬如求职人的名字为杜军军,用“Junjun DU”就比用“Du Junjun”要好,这样也很方便招聘人员,尤其是人事部经理为中国人。另外,在平时中发现有少部

为“谁不知道北京是中国的呀!”但一个完整的地址、全球畅通的邮址应该是加国名的,

但“中国”英文最好别用“PRC”,因为用“China”简单清楚。另外,邮编的标准写法应

该是放在省名与国名之间,即放在“China”之前。

3、电话写法很有讲究,中国人名片中的电话经常写得不清楚、不专业,有以下五

点提醒大家注意。

A、电话号码前一定要加地区号,如86-10。因为您是在向外国公司求职,您的简历很可能被传真到伦敦、纽约,大家不知道您的地区号,也没有时间去查,如果另一位求职者

的电话有地区号,招聘者很可能先和这个人沟通。

B、8个号码之间最好加一个“-”,如6505-2266,便于拨号。

C、区号后的括号和号码间加空格,如86-10 6505-2266。这是英文写作格式的规定,很多人忽略了,甚至不知道。

D、写手机或者向别人通报手机时,也有一定的规范,要用“3-4-4原则”,如“139-1735-1833”。

E、传真号千万不要留办公室的,免得办公室的同事都知道你想跳槽,最好留家里的

传真号。

2、教育背景

1、时间要倒序,最近的学历情况要放在最前面。

2、学校名要大写并加粗,这样便于招聘者迅速识别您的学历。

3、地名右对齐,全部大写并加粗。

4、关于学历。如果正在学习,用Candidate for开头比较严谨;如果已经毕业,可以把学历名称放在最前。

5、社会工作担任班干部,只写职务就可以了,不必写年月和工作详情。

6、奖学金。一般用一句话概括。如果有多个,也争取用一句话概括。但如果是学生简历,则可以多写一点。

7、成绩。如果不是前十名,建议不写。因为如果排在十名之外,感觉您不是一个优秀的学生。一旦写上,有些人会穷追不舍地猛问,让你尴尬。

3、工作经历

首先要再次强调一下,对于正在工作的人,Experience应写在Education的前面,而对于在校生Education则应放在Experience之前。写时间时应注意:

1、目前的工作要最先写,左侧写时间,如写成1997-present。此外更要注意拼写,不要把“present”写成“president”,这种拼写错误要避免。

2、以前的工作,只写年份,如1993-1995。这样的写法主要适于以下三种情况:一是工作时间较早;二是工作时间在两年以上;三是旨在巧妙地拉长工作时间。例如,如果您曾于1997年12月到1998年1月就职于某家公司,虽然只有短短两个月,但写成1997-1998就显得工作时间较长,同时也没撒谎。

4、个人资料可以介绍个人业余爱好等内容。
