Jasmine from Class one

Question:Should Chinese universities include sports classes as part of every university education?

I firmly hold the belief that Chinese universities should include sports classes as part of every university education.

Many people think it useless to attend spots classes every week because they overweigh time as the valuable source and they fell to figure out the benefit PE classes bring. While some of other people maintain to keep sports classes. In my views,I agree with the later group.

In China, there’s a famous saying:”Sharpening your axe will not delay your job of cutting wood.”If we don’t squeeze our time to keep doing exercises, who will show their pity for us when we fell ill?Once we are sick, our learning will be dragged on.Keep in mind that body is the fundamental of revolution.Keeping sports classes is absolutely not a waste of time. Secondly, learning is easy.It requires us to combine exertion and rest balance between work and leisure.Having sports classes enables us have more time

to relax ourselves. And our studing efficiency raises with a relaxing method.

Consequently, keeping sports classes really kills two birds with one stone. Chinese universities should include sports classes as part of every university education.

Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay entitled Never Give Up. You should write at least 150 words following the outline given below in Chinese: Never Give Up “Never give up” is often said by people when they are frustrated or in depression. This phrase means determination and encouragement. In my opinion, the determination to succeed is of great importance. Therefore, I believe that we should never give up. If we give up too easily, we will rarely achieve anything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not feel discouraged by our

failures; instead we should try again. Besides, if we always give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skills and grow as we should. Another reason that we should never give up is because we can learn from our mistakes only if we make a new effort. If we do not try again, the lesson we have learned is of no use. Finally, as we work to reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed in other areas of life. If we never challenge ourselves, we will begin to doubt our abilities. In short, it is important that we do not give up when working for our goals. Whether we succeed in the end or not, we will learn something, and what we learn will help us do better in our future work. Furthermore, if we give up, we have no chance of attaining our goals; but if we keep trying, there is always a chance that we will succeed one day.

Chinese Food Culture 1.Characteristics of cuisines in southern part of China Chinese cuisine has a number of different genres, but the most influential and typical known by the public are the 'Eight Cuisines'. These are as follows: Shandong Cuisine, Guangdong Cuisine, Sichuan Cuisine, Hunan Cuisine, Jiangsu Cuisine, Zhejiang Cuisine, Fujian Cuisine and Anhui Cuisine. We have roughly separated Chinese cuisine into two genres. They are Cuisines of the north part and the southern part. Cuisines of the southern part of China are really featured. They have various differences with northern cuisine. Firstly, abundant rain drops and sunlight in South China provide favorable conditions for the growth of millet and rice. Compared with people in North China who have to spend much time in cold weather, people in South China are less preferable to meat diet, which contains lots of fat and protein. Southern Chinese prefer plant diet quite a lot. Many people are accustomed to drink soup both before and after the meal. Guangdong Soup(老火靓汤) Secondly, South China is one of the most developed areas in China. It welcomes people from the entire world. New Year's Day -day holiday, so I can go out have fun Today is the New Year’s Day.
