I am a boy easy to get along with. I never get angry easily. That’s the most important reason that makes me so popular. I’m always ready to help others. Whenever my friends meet with troubles/difficulties, I will give them a hand without even a moment’s thought.

Besides, I’m quite humorous. I can always tell some jokes or funny stories to make my friends laugh. They say time spent with me is full of fun.

I’m honest. I never tell lies. So I’m a friend worth trusting.

When I was a Grade Two student, Xiaolei came to my class. He was from a small poor village. His father found a job in the city. However, he was not paid well and often could not get the money on time. One day each of our classmates bought a useful exercise book, but Xiaolei didn’t. One book cost only five yuan, but he could not afford it. As a result, I lent my book to him. He was so happy that he finished all the exercises as soon as possible and returned it to me two days later, which surprised me a lot. From then on, I decided to study hard. I should learn from Xiaolei and we should value what we have. I hope to be the top student in my class.

Do you know the New Ocean Waves? It’s one of the best bands on the music scene, which was founded in October, 2004.

In the past years the band has made great progress. It not only had three major concerts, but also make a hit CD. Best of all, it won the Best New Group of the year. They have new plans this year. They are going to appear on TV and plan to go on a world tour next month, so don’t miss them if you have a chance to go to their concerts. They believe that they will have a number one hit some day. The band is on its way.

Recently, recycling textbooks has been put into practice in some provinces in China. As far as I am concerned, it is a good way which will benefit both the society and us students.

For one thing, it is good news to students from poor families who can’t afford textbooks. For another, recycling textbooks can save natural resources. We are cutting down too many trees every day. In the long run, it helps develop the students’environmental awareness. What’s more, students may learn to share and work with others through recycling textbooks.

To sum up, I consider recycling textbooks useful and helpful. And I still hope students shouldn’t damage their textbooks and keep them clean for the benefit of the next student to use them.
