W: Well, I live on my own now. I decided after my fourth husband died that I didn’t want to marry again, and I like being independent. I still enjoy going to parties and meeting people — it’s quite funny when I meet someone for the first time and they recognise me, but they can’t remember the names of any of my films. They get embarrassed, but I don’t mind. The last one was quite a few years ago after all. I’ve lived here in Los Angeles for nearly forty years now, and I love the weather, and the people, but I feel I need a change. So maybe next year I’ll do something exciting, like travelling around the world. I’ve always wanted to go to Australia you know — so I should go, really, before it’s too late.
