一、模块教学任务分析

4B M1的学习主题为Using my five senses。通过三个单元的教学分别从嗅觉、味觉、触觉、视觉等感觉入手,帮助学生更全面地了解和观察身边的事物。本模块涉及到关于词汇的旧知包括名词(水果、文具、景点等)、形容词(感觉)、动词、介词等;本模块的句型教学在旧知句型复现与巩固的基础上进行拓展延伸,涉及到选择疑问句的问答,特殊疑问句Whose的问答和主语是第三人称单数时的一般现在时态。

本模块在新旧知有机整合的基础上,以人的五种感觉为主线展开教学。通过词汇、句型、语篇的结合,进一步以低年级所要求培养的听、说能力提升为基础,进一步培养学生的读、写、用的语言能力,使学生在互动与交流的过程中体验学习英语的乐趣。同时,通过本模块的教学,培养学生对周边事物全面的观察能力,激发学生对身边事物的好奇心和热爱生活的美好情感。

从上述表格的对比中可以发现,4AM1与前三个年级的模块主题一致,围绕“你能闻/尝到什么”,“它摸上去怎么样?”,“看一看影子”三个单元,以人类的五种感觉为主线开展教学。对比1A, 2A, 3A和4A的同一模块的主题可以发现,4BM1复现了1-3年级M1的各个话题。

纵观词汇与句型的变化,也可以看出4B的主要词汇与句型是在前三个年级的主要词汇与句型复现巩固的基础上结合了新知,以旧带新地展开教学,这一点也说明了教材编排复现率高、螺旋上升的特点。

1BM1是从五官中的视觉、听觉、嗅觉以及味觉这四种感觉展开教学的。其中视觉(U1)和听觉(U2)的教学围绕“动物”展开讨论,关键句型为特殊疑问句What can you see/hear? I can see/hear…。嗅觉和味觉(U3)的教学是围绕“食物”展开讨论,关键句型为祈使句Taste/Smell…。

2BM1是从五官中的视觉、触觉以及听觉这三种感觉展开教学的。视觉(U1)的教学围绕“颜色”展开讨论,并且有单复数形式的对比和运用。触觉(U2)这一感官在1B中未曾出现,主要学习不同物品的触觉特征、祈使句Touch this…以及巩固一般疑问句Is it…? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.。听觉(U3)的教学在围绕“交通工具”展开讨论,关键句型复现了1BM1U2中的句型。

3BM1对“五官”全面展开教学。视觉和听觉(U1)仍然以“交通工具”展开讨论,虽然没有更多关键词汇和关键句型,但是更注重语言的逐步积累、重新整合以及复合句的连接。触觉(U2)的教学复现了2BM1U2中的词汇和句型,围绕“日常生活物品”展开讨论,对比了How does it feel?和How do they feel?的区别,培养学生对比、思考的学习习惯。味觉和嗅觉(U3)复现了1BM1U3中的部分语言,在此基础上,拓展了有关味觉的词汇和特殊疑问句的问答How does it smell/taste? It’s…

4BM1以五官中视觉、味觉、嗅觉和触觉这四种感觉为话题开展教学。其中味觉(U1)和嗅觉(U1)围绕学生喜爱的水果和甜食,复习了祈使句Smell it./ Taste it.、水果类单词(apple, peach等)、询问感觉的疑问句How does it taste/ smell?,并引入了更多的水果类单词和选择疑问句的教学。触觉(U2)以学生身边的事物,如:文具等为话题,通过学生的亲身体验复习了感觉类形容词(hard, soft等)、询问感觉的疑问句How does it feel?等,拓展了更多的感觉类形容词(sharp,blunt等)和首次出现的Whose特殊疑问句的问答。视觉(U3)通过观察不同事物的影子展开教学,复习了名词(morning, tree等)、介词(on, behind等),拓展了地点类名词(hill, lawn等)。句型方面,通过鼓励学生观察身边事物,帮助学生体验“第三人称”的含义,从而教授当主语是第三人称单数时一般现在时句型的变化It …(does).

三、本模块中三个unit的联系

第一单元以”What can you smell and taste?”为主题,以“闻与尝”这两个感觉为话题进行名词(水果类单词)的教学和选择疑问句Is it… or…?的问答。使学生通过“闻与尝”的体验,掌握更多的水果单词,能运用所学句型询问对方的感觉和喜好。其中,对询问对方感觉的句型How does it taste/ smell?复习也是对第二单元中How does it feel?的铺垫。

第二单元以”How does it feel?”为主题,以触觉为话题开展相关教学。学生通过亲手摸一摸等活动复习了形容词(hard, soft等)并拓展了更多感觉类词汇(sharp, blunt等)。在第一单元中How does it taste/ smell?的句型复习也为本单元中How does it feel?做了很好的铺垫,使学生可以通过更多的感官来更全面地观察事物,并学着问一问物品的归属Whose….is this/ that..?

第三单元以”Look at the shadow!”为主题,组织学生观察自己和周围事物的影子来开展词汇和句型的教学。本单元中涉及更多学生身边的事物,如:树、山等,而这些事物不便于从

嗅觉、味觉等感觉去观察。学生通过“看”来观察这些事物及其影子,从长短、大小、位置等不同角度描述事物的特点,其中也包括了对前两个单元的形容词的复习和巩固。虽然在主要教学内容上第三单元似乎与前两个单元的内容并无直接联系,但是第三单元最主要的语法:主语是第三人称单数时一般现在时态It …(does)是在前两个单元的一般现在时句型的基础上延伸而来的。

本模块三个单元的教学内容相互关联,相辅相成,难度上循序渐进,以“滚雪球”的方式将新旧知有机结合,以旧知带动新知。

五、各单元具体分析

Unit 1 What can you smell and taste? (你能闻到和尝到什么)

1、单元教学任务分析

4BM1U1的教学主题是What can you smell and taste?以“嗅觉和味觉”为话题,通过让学生闻一闻、尝一尝水果、甜点等感受不同食物带给人们的感觉。本单元可以结合学生已经学习过的水果、食物类单词拓展新授水果类词汇watermelon, grape等,扩大学生的词汇量。通过“闻与尝”的活动结合已学句型Smell…/ Taste…/ How does it taste/ smell? It’s …等引入新句型—选择疑问句:Is it… or? It’s…的问答,使学生能够尝试询问对方的感觉与喜好。

本单元可以通过组织学生进行实物体验、对话交流、小组调查等方式开展教学,使学生在互动与交流的过程中学习并运用语言知识,体验学习英语的乐趣。值得一提的是本单元的语篇阅读“The fox and the grapes”,改编自伊索寓言中为大家所熟悉的寓言故事“狐狸与葡萄”。语篇结合了本单元的新授知识,使学生在阅读语篇的过程中了解“酸葡萄心理”,明白“在经历了许多尝试而不能获得成功的时候,有些人往往故意轻视成功,以此来寻求心理安慰”的寓意。

2、单元教学任务一览

Look and learn:核心学习内容,主要进行词汇学习watermelon, grape, plum, cherry, strawberry.

Look and say:核心学习内容,主要进行句型学习,选择疑问句Is it… or…? It’s…

Ask and answer:初步运用Look and say中的核心句型,结合旧知(Smell… / How does it taste?/ What is it?等)进行问答,了解对方对某类食物的感受。

Say and act:对核心句型的情景运用,通过阅读、理解、表演情景对话巩固对Look and say 中核心句型的理解和使用。

Read a story:语篇阅读。通过“狐狸与葡萄”的故事,结合核心词汇与句型,在故事阅读与学习中巩固新知,扩大阅读量,提高阅读能力。

Listen and enjoy:在儿歌诵读中,激发学生的学习乐趣,感受儿歌朗读的节奏,提高学生的学习兴趣。

Learn the sounds:对元音字母组合“-ar, -ar-,-ue, -oo-”的语音学习,结合相关词汇、儿歌的学习,感受字母组合的发音,培养语感,做到准确发音。

3、本单元语言知识梳理

1)语音

ⅰ正确掌握元音字母组合“-ar, -ar-,-ue, -oo-”的发音,能准确朗读字母组合的发音。

ⅱ从听、读方面掌握“-ar, -ar-,-ue, -oo-”的发音和包含这些字母组合的单词,并能举例曾学过的含有“-ar, -ar-,-ue, -oo-”的单词。

ⅲ有节奏地朗读儿歌,并体会“-ar, -ar-,-ue, -oo-”的发音,初步培养语感。
