Online Shopping and Conventional Shopping Nowadays, Online shopping is enjoying an increasing popularity with the development of internet technology . However, some people prefer conventional shopping. It is unfair to judge which is better because they both have some merits and drawbacks. Now I will make some comparisons between the two.
There are many differences between the two ways of shopping, which are as follows. To begin with, compared with conventional shopping ,online shopping may be cheaper, because consumers can buy some commodities from companies directly as well as some tax-free ones. In addition, online shopping makes it possible to purchase a wide variety of commodities without geographical restrictions ,such as some local products ,which may be unavailable to consumers in other regions . What is more, online shopping offers us, especially the old and busy people, a more convenient life than traditional shopping, . We just need to choose the goods we want and make some clicks on the web , a courier will send the package to our home in several days. While conventional shopping can be time-consuming and tiring. Last but not least, while we are enjoying the convenience online shopping offers us, we could not neglect the fact that we may purchase some products with bad quality. In solid shop,we can touch and may even try the product, which can guarantee the quality and the suitable size for us.
Nevertheless, Online and traditional shopping also have something in common. That is we all need to choose and pay for the commodities.
From my point of view, every coin has its two sides and only when we combine the merits of the two ways of shopping and avoid their drawbacks can we get the cheap products with great quality.

Why do these civil servants risk their fame and even lives in defiance of law? Greed and selfishness account for it. As I walked around the downtown the other day, I found people, with their fancy clothes and stylish hairdos ,appear too materialistic,which is not to my liking. Wasn't there a time when things were simpler and people were more humble?Once bogged down in private interest, one finds oneself blinded by the greed and selfishness. Advocating the traditional moral values about family and community is definitely necessary. Actually it has adopted by the Chinese government as a key policy to run the coounty by combining the rule of law with the rule of virtue ,which is the essence of Confucianism. Starting and going on with their own life by helping themselves just means, self-reliance. After a brief understanding of American culture, the self-reliance value is the most impressive word for me. Because, you know, in China, some are accustomed to depending on their relatives especially parents not only in childhood but the adult stage. But in America, it is completely a different scene. How comes the self-reliance? What is its accurate meaning? First of all, just let us explore the history of America. The earliest settlers came to the North America continent to establish colonies that were free from the controls that existed in European countries, such as the controls from kings, government, priests, church, noblemen and aristocrats. After their consistent struggle and fighting, America finally declared their independence from European setters and establish a totally new polity ----democratic public. In the new-born country, everybody had individual freedom,which is the wellhead of any other human right. By freedom, American citizens began to operate the rudder of their life. That means, they can control their own destiny without any interfering from dark powers, without any bound by traditional thinking, just following their heart to find their true world. As a consequence, a value of self-reliance gradually spread. In addition, we should not ignore the Western Development that formed an important part in American history. As American settlers moved west in the early and mid-19th century, they had to depend on themselves to create a new world in the completely unfamiliar and strange West. There were many new problems and difficulties waiting for them to overcome. There were countless resources and opportunities for them to discover and take advantage of. For them, the West was like a blank paper to write words. In the case of no comforts from their homes back East , Americans gradually developed a value similar with self-reliance. The first light through my mind was that the country is so crazy! However, when I came to the end of the website, I find a piece of related news said that a school in Hubei Province moved the examination room to a forest in order to prevent students from cheating. That’s terrib le. As I know, cheating in exams is the most serious problem in my university——if you do, you lose everything. But, the phenomenon still exists no matter what actions you take. That’s the cause of a debate ——whether the cheat should be tolerated or not? A t the beginning, I don’t think it meaningful to argue because in conventional moral domain it’s an unfair deal to other people who achieve the marks on their own. And, the exams in schools are just the first step to more academic dishonesty, professional misconduct, and unethical business practice in the future. Nobody would like to live in a world filling by unreal things I guess. However, there is always some different voice. Some people think that cheating in exams is not such a terrible thing because students will get higher scores by it. To bend it is impossible to educators, and some students will have inimical emotions to teachers because this behavior destroys the basic trust between the two groups. Maybe you also think this opinion ridiculous as I do. However, “anything existing must be reasonable”. Cheating is not a good thing, but how to deal with it is harder to be good. So, to my mind, cheating shouldn’t be tolerated at any time. Meanwhile, educators should come out better solutions to prevent the behavior at the very beginning.
