今年的英语作文题目同样重点考察了主观理由型作文的写作手法，这篇文章要求学生在三幅学校读书节宣传图片当中选出自己最喜欢的一幅，对图片进行描述并说明原因。这也是继2013年和2014年连续两年考察书信体与主观理由型文章的结合体之后出现的第三篇主观理由型文章。
整体来看，今年的作文题目似乎与往年没有什么区别，但细细分析，我们会发现今年英语作文的难度，不管是在文章内容、还是在形式上面，都有了大幅提升。因为考生需要同时兼顾三个难点：1、书信体正确的的书写格式；2、对图片内容进行细节的描述；3、找出恰当的理由(2-3点)进行论证，说理充分，同时注意论点和论据相结合，以及文章语句之间的逻辑严密性。可以说，近三年来英语作文虽然都在考察主观理由这个大的方向，但是考察的难度确实是在逐年递增。
对于考生来说，要想在短短的20分钟之内写好这篇作文，首先需要拿捏好这篇文章的结构。一般来说，文章第一段用来引出话题，第二段可以对所选择的图片进行描写，描写时要格外注意的地方是对细节的详细描述，基本内容讲清楚就可以开始第三段的理由阐述了。
写好重头戏理由之后，在尾段我们无需过多笔墨，基本上通过三句话就可以收尾了。也就是总结加升华，由于这是一篇征集建议的书信体文章，所以需要最后有一句客套话，考生可以通过looking forward to your reply或者i will appreciate it very much if you can take my suggestions into consideration进行文章自然收尾。这样整篇文章便达到了内容统一，结构完整，说理充分了

since the reading festival is around the corner, i’m writing to recommend a picture which can be used in the brochure to remind the students of the pleasure of reading.

这类作文上海高考相同结构的考法出现过一次，不过是在很久远的1999年：
一些学生认为学英语很重要；一些学生则认为不必学英语；我认为（观点、理由）
在上海高考一模卷里好像也不怎么的受待见，近三年（2012~2014）一模卷一共考过次，具体题目如下：
那么到底为什么这类文章每年都会零星出现他的考点到底是什么用意又是什么呢其中是否又有着规律呢
答案我们现在来揭晓！
这类文章从题干里就能看出来两个比较重要的规律：
一、一定会有两方针锋相对的对立方观点；
二、一定需要你做出自己的选择。
如果我说这样的文章其实很简单，你信么？
之所以这么说，是因为这样的文章结构会很清楚，而且如果题干中给出的是具体观点而不仅仅只是大致方向的话，那么其实连内容都可以少想好多了~
结构如下：
段1 ——提出针锋相对的话题，表明立场（2~3句）
段2 ——支持方内容重点提出（4~5句）
段3 ——反方内容简略提出（2~3句）
段4 ——权衡两者，重申段1的立场（1~2句）
