探究三：Language Points

1.辨析another和the other

(1)another泛指“又一个；另外的”泛指三者或三者以上中的另一个。Saying is one thing and doing is another.说是一回事，做是另一回事。

(2)the other＋单数名词，指“两个中的另一个”，常用结构“one...the

other...” Mr. Smith has two daughters. One is a doctor，and the other is a nurse.史密斯先生有两个女儿。一个是医生，另一个是护士。

2.辨析amazing与amazed

(1).amazing“惊奇的；惊人的”作定语或表语，通常说明事物本身具有令人惊奇的特征。如：She has an amazing talent for music.她拥有惊人的音乐天赋。

(2).amazed“(感到)惊奇的”在句中常作表语，用来形容人的感受。主要用于短语be amazed at “对---感到惊奇”如：I was amazed at his rapid progress in English.他的英语进步迅速，让我大为惊讶。

3.believe sb.相信某人，believe in sth./sb.信仰，信赖，信任某事/某人

一语辨异：I believe what he said, but I can’t believe in him.我相信他所说的话，但我不能信任他。注意：当believe后跟宾语从句时，其否定结构应在believe上，即否定前移，“否定在主句，翻译在从句”。如: I don’t believe he can swim. 我相信他不会游泳。

4.辨析be famous for和be famous as

(1)be famous for 因为…而出名；以…而著名Hangzhou is famous for the West Lake. 杭州因西湖而闻名。(2)be famous as 作为…而出名Hangzhou is famous as a travel city. 杭州作为一座旅游城市而出名。

一语辨异：He isn’t famous as an actor, but he is famous for some photos.作为演员他并不出名，但他因一些照片而出名。

【教学反思】

该班学生较文静,气氛太沉闷,教学准备也不充分,没能调动学生的积极性,教学的各个环节本该学生起主导作用,但整堂课下来还是老师的讲解较多,尤其是第八步"继续对话"没学生参与,这与学生的基础差有直接关系.在以后的教学中,要设计一些简单的活动,让学生有能力完成各项任务,这样效果应该会更好一些.
