1、How to keep Healthy

What’s the most important thing in the world? I think it is to be healthy. You can live without money, houses, cars or computers, but you won’t live a happy life if you are not healthy. Then how to keep healthy?

First we must eat healthily. We should eat meat, vegetables, fruit and other kinds of food. Taking exercises is also very important, it can help us build a strong body. If you don’t like sports you can walk for half an hour after meals.

Secondly we must stay happy all the time. I think making friends is one of the best ways to help us stay happy. Because when you are with your friends, you can share your happiness with them, or you can tell them of your worries. Then you will be happy soon.

I like reading very much. When I was a small girl, I was interested in reading picture books on science and history. At the age of seven, I entered a primary school and began to read more books. Now I am a middle school student. I have many subjects to learn. Every day I must finish a lot of homework. I am very busy. But when I have spare time I still want to read some story books. 3、My favourite teacher

Heather is my favourite teacher, she is a very lovely woman. She’s twenty-three years old. She teaches us English.

Heather comes from America, but she is in Haimen now. She has two brothers, they are tall. She is tall and slim. She is very pretty. She is usually in a ponytail, but sometimes she wears a hat. She has two big eyes, small nose and two big ears. I can see she with her friends eating meals, playing badminton and going shopping.

Heather has a good friend, her name is Jenny. Jenny’s father was born in China and her mother was born in HongKong. They are very good friends.

Heather likes China because she likes eating Chinese food. She thinks they are very delicious. Her e-mail place is .

Heather likes smiling. She is a very funny and good teacher. So I like her very much.

4、My English Study英语学习

English is always my favorite subject and I am good at English. I would like to share 4 good studying habits with you.

First, remember twenty new words, and never give up. Second, go over grammar points I have learnt in English class regularly. Third, read an English article in China Daily every day. Fourth, write an English composition every week and ask teacher to revise that for me to improve the writing level.

If you do things above, I am sure your English will also be improved.

5、Health and Wealth

Nowadays, keeping healthy is playing a more and more important role in people's daily life. In our life, health is more important than wealth. As a proverb says, "There is nothing more valuable than health." On the one hand, a strong person can do almost anything as long as he/she tries hard. On the other hand, however, rich people will not be able to enjoy the wealth if their days are numbered.

But many others have such arguments as follows. For one thing, wealthy people will be able to buy more healthful foods. For another, they can enjoy better facilities to improve their health.

As far as I am concerned, both health and wealth are important to our life. We should try to strike a balance between them and gain wealth with a healthy body.

6、My First Year at College.

My first year of college came with many changes and challenges. Being far away from home, I had many new roommates to get along with and a stomach to feed. Soon I made a lot of new friends. We stayed up late talking about our ideals and ambitions together.

Study in college was much harder than I had thought. The key to success in college is more than intelligence. You must want to study and succeed. My parents spent good money on my study and it’s important for me to get the money worth

7、The Job I Like.

I like to be a teacher. Three reasons have led me to choose this occupation.

First, teaching is learning. To make my lectures more constructive and stimulating, I have to read more books, explore new knowledge and gain a better understanding of the world, which is the very thing I enjoy in my life. Second, teaching means freedom and independence. As a teacher, I’m free to use my own ideas and make my own decisions. Finally, I like teaching because it offers certain peace of mind.

All in all, the reasons above make me like teaching best.

“New Year” is a time for good cheer. In China men and women, boys and girls, all look forward to a happy year. It is time for rest and refreshment. Business is suspended for a time. Young fellows lay aside their school work and give themselves up to merriment and joy. Each family has its members together for reunion. Friends call on one another. Public places are filled with all kinds of cheerful people. Children with lucky money in their new clothes have a delightful time playing games. The Chinese New Year lasts about a fortnight. It gives sufficient recreation to people.
