1.Self-introduction

Good morning ,dear professors, I am great honored to meet you here. Now allow me to give a brief self-introduction.

My name is ZEF,26 years old. I am originally from Yun Cheng ,which is seat in the south of Shan Xi province.I graduated from He Fei university of technology in 2016,major in energy and power engineering. After graduation, I have worked in two companies successively . Mainly engaged in engine production and technology development relatived work. My first job is as a process engineer in Hualing ,mainly responseable for the process of engine thermal test .My second job is as a system applicaton engineer in Hebei Searching Automotive Electronic Technology Co,Ltd. Mainly responsible for the projects related to the treatment of diesel engine exhausted gas . I have got along well with my workmates ,and gained their friendship and respect. Now, I think I have a good sense of teamwork. However, during the period of work, I found that my professional knowledge is relatively weak ,so I could not carry out in-deepth research on some foundamental theries. So I wish to take my knowledge to next level. Xxx have a good reputation in this

field, and I love the atmosphere of this campus.

All in all, if I have the chance to study here, I will try my best to concentrate on research in my field and make a solid foundation for future profession. That is all , thanks for your attention.

2.Why did you choose this school?

Well, in my mind, this school is excellent. I love this university very much. When I came here for the first time ,I was deeply impressed by the academic atmosphere and the faculty, and there are many outstanding teachers .Most important reason of all, is the major is suitable for me. If I have the chance to study here, I will try my best to improve myself.

My university is xxx, is in He Fei ,which is seat in the middle of AnHui province. It shares same characteristics with other University of Technology, such as beautiful campus, dense academic atmosphere and so on. The study experience at my alma mater helped me a lot in my later work. I appreciate

the education my university give me.

I am originally from YunCheng, which is seat in the south of ShanXi province. YunCheng, is also named HeDong, which means in the east of Yellow River, is the cradle of Chinese civilization .This wide piece of land retains many ancient records of human’s using fire, making salt, growing crops and so on. At the same time, it’s a beautiful city. Many wonderful scenic spots are worth visiting, such as Guan Di Temple. Salt Lake and so on. I love my hometown very much.

In my family, there are four members, my parents ,my brother and I. My parents have run a small noodle restaurant, sell all kinds of noodles. They love their job and wok hard. My brother is an ordinary worker. He's only two years older than me. When I was preparing for postgraduate examination, my family's support gave me a lot of motivation. I hope in the future ,I will be able to repay them.

7.Talk about your plan in postgraduate

My plan is to publish at least one SCI during 3 years and have a good command of software for search such as matlab. In the meantime, I also plan to develop a new skill for hobby. Through intership I’d like to get some practical experience for my future job.

8.What’s your favorite book?

The book I like best is One Hundred Years of Solitude. It tells a story of the rise and fall, birth and death of a mythical town of Macondo through the history of the Buend family. It lets me know that Loneliness is not necessarily negative, it is sometimes a kind of motivation ,let us experience life, have courage to face frustration

9.Introduce your hobby in spare time

Well, in my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities, just like doing sports, traveling, or watching movies. Because these things can make me feel relaxed and broaden my horizon. Especially traveling, it can ease my nerves and get all the stress out of me.

10.Which kind of professor do you like best?

I’d fond of professors who is responsible. More specifically, he or she could lead me in research and exchange ideals every once in a while. He or she may be my teacher as well as friend.
