一、教学目标
1. 能熟练运用fresh, sweet, sour, hot,cold等描述事物特征的词汇来
描绘事物的特征。
2. 能正确认读:Is it (hot)?Yes,it is./ No,it isn’t.
3. 能按要求运用所学语言知识进行简单的游戏。
4. 能根据事物或相应的图片对词汇:fresh,sweet,sour,hot,cold,等词汇
建立正确的联想。
5. 能积极与他人合作,积极运用所学语言知识进行交流,增强学习
英语的兴趣,体验学习成功的乐趣。培养学生良好的听的习惯。
二、教材分析
本课时是《小学英语》(一年级起点)三年级下册Unit 9 的第5课时教学(page 34,page 29)。第一课时内容为:pages26-27第二课时为:page28,page31,第四课时为page30,page35,第五课时为page 34,page 29,第六课时为page32,page36,第七课时为page33,page37是在通过前面四课时的学习,学生基本掌握了用英语描述事物特征的基础上进行的教学。本课时的教学主要是让学生在玩演中继续运用核心句子和词汇,增强学生学习英语的兴趣。教材的重点是:运用核心句子:Is it (hot)? Yes it is. No it isn’t.进行游戏;能根据事物或图片对事物的特征作出正确判断。教材的难点:正确认读句型和词汇。
本课试图通过复习所学的描述事物特征的词引入词汇的认读教学,然后过渡到核心句型的认读教学,解决学生在认读上的难度。而后通过巩固练习词汇和句型,认读游戏中所要运用的一些词汇和句型,并在这里对游戏的内容进行拓展。学生通过有趣的玩演活动运用所学语言知识,在游戏中体验学习英语的乐趣,体验学习成功的乐趣,增强学习英语的兴趣,乐于用英语进行交流。培养学生在玩的过程中仔细倾听的习惯,从而对别人的提问做出正确的判断。教学中教师要注意游戏的示范和游戏的组织,促使学生自觉运用英语进行游戏。
三、学校及学生状况分析
这是一所地处农村的中心小学学校,学校从三年级开设小学英语课程。学校的教学条件基本实现现代化。因而我在教学中所有的展示均用的是课件和实物投影。学生主要来自于农村,学生的学习习惯需要不断的加强。学生的家长已经掌握了一些简单的语言知识,基本能够和孩子进行简单的交流,因而在教学中我设计了教父母玩游戏的拓展性活动。
这个年龄阶段的学生已养成大胆说英语,大胆表达自己想法的习惯,他们对学习的成果更为看重了,学习的成功更能激发和保持他们的学习兴趣。比赛能促进他们对学习成功的渴望。他们具有好奇,好活动,好表现,善于模仿等特点。他们爱玩,爱唱,爱画,爱游戏。他们学习英语的基本形式是模仿。学生在倾听别人说英语方面习惯较差,因而在教学中注重一种习惯的习得。

教学中成功的做法:
1.教学内容的优化组合。
我将本单元的游戏和认读教学相结合进行了一个课时的教学,避免
了认读教学的枯燥和单调,把认读教学和游戏、玩演相结合使整个课堂气氛活跃,学生的学习兴趣延伸到了课后。
2.注重引导学生养成良好的语音,养成正确的听、说、读、写的习惯
在本课的“热身”部分中,我让学生跟录音读课文,这是平常教学中我所坚持的一部分。这样做使学生养成仔细听,认真模仿的习惯,培养学生的语音和语调,使录音在英语教学中得到充分的发挥,为培养学生的认读能力奠定了基础。
3.体现了语言知识教学和技能训练相结合的开放的、互动的学习模式
本节课的教学使学生达到了在玩演中去使用所学的英语。在玩演的过程中培养了学生综合运用语言的能力,积极与他人合作的情感态度。课堂呈现出一种开放,游戏内容的变换诱发了学生对语言知识的综合运用,课后的拓展是课堂的教学得到了一种延伸,学生的学习兴趣在在此得到一种延伸。
教学中值得注意的地方:
1.训练的时候应减少机械训练,增加意义训练的力度
由于学生对本课的教学已经有了四个课时的学习,因而学生对核心词汇和句型已经达到了熟练的程度。在本课的教学中,教师可以准备大量的实物,让学生进行训练,使学生对所要掌握的东西有一个实际意义上的认知。
2.学生的合作可以与教师和学生间的合作相结合
在“玩演”的时候,学生在玩游戏之后,找一名学生和教师玩这个游戏,这样既能考查学生掌握的情况,又能增进师生间的情感,达到师生沟通,进而过渡到让学生教父母玩这个游戏。整个“玩演”显得完整而又层次。
六、点评
该校校本教研的课题是“农村小学英语课堂游戏教学尝试”,本节课便是一个较好的尝试。本节课中有四个游戏:“热身”的游戏使学生在有趣的小活动中巩固所学的语言知识,为进一步学习奠定基础;“玩演”中富有探究性的游戏引领学生在比赛中充分地运用语言,能增强学
生的合作、探究、竞争意识;“拓展”时将“玩演”中的游戏进行两个方面的拓展,使新旧语言有机融合,学生将所学语言在生活中加以运用,对保持他们学习英语的兴趣、形成学习英语的良好态度、树立学好英语的信心有着积极的作用。
坚持在每一节课的开始,用磁带引导学生复习歌谣、故事、对话等等,对奠定学生语音语调的基础和帮助学生形成初步的的语感有显著效果。
将比较困难而又稍显枯燥的认读教学和游戏教学相结合,这种寓教于乐,寓学于做的内容安排和活动设计能有效激发学生的参与感,保持学习兴趣,能有效调动学生在学习过程中感悟、体验、实践语言,有利于培养学生的综合素质。
作为教师,在反思时不仅要反思自己在教学的成功之处,更应思考教学中出现的问题,思考相应的对策,以调控将来的教学。科学的教学反思对加快新课程理念的内化和向行为转化,对研究思考自己的教学行为从而加深对外语教学的理解,对教师的专业成长,对学生的健康发展是十分必要和重要的。从本次案例看来,教师在这一点虽然显得稚嫩,但毕竟已经开始,“良好的开端便是成功的一半”,希望她继续坚持下去。
